Mitchell, who topped 30 points for the 19th time this season, locked horns with his Nuggets counterpart Jamal Murray as the pair traded punches down the home stretch with the Cavaliers erasing a late deficit to emerge with a narrow victory. The 29-year-old scoring machine, who has graded out as a top-10 fantasy contributor this season, has put together back-to-back strong performances and will look to keep the momentum going on Sunday when the Cavaliers square off against the upstart Pistons.

After a two-game absence with a calf injury, Şengün was back in the Rockets’ lineup on Thursday. He recorded an efficient stat line against the rebuilding Nets, but the most critical takeaway for fantasy managers was that Şengün was able to play 34 minutes. Mobley only played 20 minutes on Saturday, a byproduct of the Cavaliers getting run out of the gym. However, he did start the second half, replacing Dean Wade (6/3/1/1 with two three-pointers in 18 minutes). Whether that means Mobley will be back in the lineup to begin Week 11 in San Antonio remains to be seen, and there’s also the minutes restriction to consider. For the Cavaliers and those who have Mobley rostered, the sooner he can ditch that restriction, the better.

Cleveland’s starting backcourt struggled on Saturday, as Mitchell struggled with his shot and Darius Garland (12 points, one assist and two three-pointers) only recorded one assist. Tyson’s performance in Houston may have been the lone bright spot for the Cavaliers, who only made the final score somewhat respectable due to both teams’ reserves playing most of the fourth quarter. With Sam Merrill (13/3/3/1 with three three-pointers) back, Tyson appears to be locked into a reserve role. However, his production has made it challenging for fantasy managers to move on from him. With Houston blowing Saturday’s game open during the second and third quarters, there were a few more minutes available to Sheppard. Rostered in 47 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Smith has provided sixth-round per-game value in nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. While there is certainly concern about how Tari Eason’s return may affect his value, Smith was solid in wins over the Lakers and Cavaliers to end Week 10. Also, Eason (nine points, six rebounds, two steals, one block and two three-pointers in 21 minutes) will remain limited to 25 minutes, and back-to-backs remain off the board for the foreseeable future. For that reason, Smith’s fantasy value may be protected for the time being.

The final score of 117-100 does not tell the whole story, as the Rockets led by more than 30 at one point in the second half. Over the past two weeks, the future Hall of Fame forward has provided top-10 per-game value in eight- and nine-cat formats.
