Though Sheppard’s 28 minutes were fewer than the other starters, that was enough time for him to stuff the stat sheet. It took time, but Sheppard appears to be locked in as a starter. In that role over their last five games, he has averaged 15.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 6.4 assists, 2.6 steals, 1.0 block and 3.4 triples per game, which has led to top-20 production in nine-category leagues despite him shooting 40.3 percent from the floor during that stretch. Sheppard is a fantasy superstar, and he’s finally getting the chance to showcase what he can do.

Though the turnovers put a damper on his outing, he was able to set a new season high for rebounds in the win. This was his second straight double-double, with the most recent one before that coming before the All-Star break. Smith has struggled with his shot lately, and this game wasn’t an exception. Still, he was able to make up for it on the glass, though he’s going to have to do a lot more to make an impact for fantasy managers.

Ware was solid in Miami’s two games against the Cavaliers, totaling 27 points, 18 rebounds, five assists, one steal, one blocked shot and five three-pointers. Inconsistency has been an issue for the second-year center, and the recent returns of Norman Powell and Andrew Wiggins limit Ware’s upside, even though they don’t share the same position. Ware can still be an asset during the fantasy playoff weeks, as evidenced by his two games in Cleveland, but most managers know to keep their expectations in check.

The good news for fantasy managers is that Adebayo was active on the boards, as he grabbed a game-high 16 rebounds. However, with the Cavaliers getting Jarrett Allen back from a knee injury, Bam had a brutal night on offense. He shot 1-of-8 from three and wasn’t much better inside of the arc, shooting 2-of-6 from two. Sunday’s matchup with the Pacers sets up to be more manageable for Adebayo and the Heat, at least on paper.

Jaquez was one of the few Heat players to be productive in Friday’s defeat, two days after Miami routed the Cavaliers in Cleveland. His 20 points on Friday were tops on the team, and he did so on 9-of-13 shooting from the field. Add in the assists and three-pointers, and this was a decent effort for managers rostering the Heat reserve.

KD has been on an offensive tear as of late, averaging 29.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 3.6 triples while shooting 54.9 percent from the floor over his last five games while scoring at least 25 points in each. This was his third point-assist double-double of the season, and while he has been able to contribute assists at a decent rate this year, managers shouldn’t expect many more double-doubles.

Thompson’s 45 minutes of action featured noteworthy activity on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he picked his spots as a scorer and, on limited field-goal attempts, narrowly made it to double figures in points. Yet, the third-year guard set the table well for the others en route to his second double-digit assist performance of the season. He got after it on the defensive boards and also collected a couple of stocks before narrowly missing a triple-double. Thompson remains one of the Rockets’ more reliable players on a nightly basis and should continue to be productive throughout the rest of the season.

20 of Şengün’s points came after halftime. He shot efficiently and made several timely blocks on the defensive end down the stretch, ultimately leading to a team-high in blocked shots. A third straight 30-point outing could be on the horizon when the Rockets face the Grizzlies on Friday.

He had shot only 3-of-14 from the field through the first three quarters, but came alive in the fourth period and in overtime in what was a game of huge momentum swings. Powell must be feeling better as the Heat moved him back into the starting lineup after coming off the bench following an injury absence. The 32-year-old responded with 19 points and three three-pointers. Powell has provided 12th-round per game value over the last two weeks. Adebayo was 5-of-10 from the field if you remove his ugly 1-of-9 from behind the three-point line. Otherwise it was an excellent game for the 28-year-old center in a tough matchup against the Cavaliers’ frontline. Adebayo has provided top-75 per game value over the last two weeks. Herro has eclipsed the 30-point mark just once all season and perhaps efforts like Wednesday’s in the win over the Cavaliers is more of what we can expect from the 26-year-old point guard going forward. Fresh off a game-winning putback layup, Thompson put forth another efficient scoring performance, albeit in a loss. He missed his only three-point attempt but was fantastic inside the arc and productive at the charity stripe. Uncharacteristically, the fourth-year guard didn’t make a difference as a facilitator, and he tallied his fewest rebounds of March. Still, Thompson’s versatile skill set led to some activity on the defensive end, helping boost his final stat line.

Şengün was very active on both ends of the floor on Monday. In the loss, he logged 37 minutes and nearly as many points, thanks to an extremely efficient shooting performance. The do-it-all center also attacked the glass hard to finish as the only Rockets player with double-digit rebounds. And the double-digit assists helped Şengün tally another triple-double on the season. Even with some back tightness, he continues to play and produce good numbers and be valuable in fantasy leagues.

In a high-scoring affair on Monday, Durant was unsurprisingly one of the contest’s most productive players. He logged a game-high 40 minutes and used that time to make the Bulls pay both inside and outside the arc. The two-time Finals MVP also made contributions on the glass and finished the game just above his regular-season average in assists. Since returning to action after missing seven games due to injury, Powell has come off the bench in three of his four appearances. However, that has not negatively affected his production, as the veteran guard has scored at least 17 points in each. Back in the Heat lineup after an eight-game absence, Wiggins only played 20 minutes on Monday. The numbers weren’t great, but he did record a complete stat line while shooting over 50 percent from the field. Herro failed to crack 20 points for a fourth straight game on Monday, but the good news for fantasy managers was that he put up solid percentages from the field and the foul line. Since the All-Star break, the Heat guard has averaged 21.0 points, 5.1 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 2.7 three-pointers per game while shooting nearly 48 percent from the field. That production has been good for fourth-round value in eight-cat formats, allowing fantasy managers to salvage something from what has been a disappointing season for Herro due to injuries.

As has been the case for most players Victor Wembanyama has defended this season, Adebayo struggled on Monday. Ten of his 17 shot attempts came from beyond the arc, with the Heat center making two. And the three rebounds were the fewest Adebayo has recorded in a game since November 5, when he had one in a game that he was forced to leave early due to injury.
