The need to account for Philadelphia’s perimeter trio of Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe and Paul George likely factored into Rockets’ head coach Ime Udoka’s decision to change Houston’s lineup, especially after the 76ers lost Joel Embiid (appendectomy). Okogie gives the first five another versatile defender, pushing Reed Sheppard to the bench.

Tari Eason (illness) is available for Thursday’s game against the 76ers.

Added to the Rockets’ injury report early Thursday afternoon, Eason is officially available to play. He’ll take on his usual role off the bench, which means that Josh Okogie and Jae’Sean Tate’s minutes are unlikely to increase.

Kyle Kuzma (Achilles) is not on the injury report for Friday’s game against the Bucks.

Kuzma is back after a two-game absence, and his return is likely to push Taurean Prince to the bench. Prince should still play quality minutes, but he offers a lower ceiling in active fantasy leagues when used in a reserve role.

Myles Turner (ankle) is not on the injury report for Friday’s game against the Nets.

Turner is off the injury report after sitting out Wednesday’s loss to the Pistons. His return likely pushes Jericho Sims to the bench one game after recording his first career triple-double.

Trent played 19 minutes off the bench in Wednesday’s loss to the Pistons, and he missed all eight of his three-point attempts. His absence on Friday should free up additional minutes for Andre Jackson Jr., who played just six minutes in Detroit.

Bobby Portis (wrist) is out for Friday’s game against the Nets.

Portis will miss a tenth straight game on Friday, with his last appearance occurring on March 23. Pete Nance and Jericho Sims have seen their minutes increase recently, with the latter recording his first triple-double in Wednesday’s loss to the Pistons.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) is out for Friday’s game against the Nets.

Antetokounmpo will remain out for another game, and fans may have seen him play for the final time this season. Ousmane Dieng and Pete Nance have played increased minutes recently, with the former offering a higher ceiling for those in active fantasy leagues.

Tari Eason (illness) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the 76ers.

Eason was not on the initial injury report released by the Rockets. If he’s unable to play, fellow reserves Josh Okogie and Jae’Sean Tate could see their playing time increase. They logged a combined 19 minutes in Tuesday’s win over the Suns, with Okogie playing 12.

Jericho Sims finished Wednesday’s loss to the Pistons with 11 points (3-of-6 FGs, 5-of-8 FTs), 11 rebounds, 10 assists and two steals.

Sims achieved a career first in Wednesday’s defeat, a triple-double. The Bucks’ lost season has created more opportunities for the athletic center to show what he’s capable of, especially on nights when Myles Turner is unavailable. Sims played 38 minutes against the Pistons, with his stat line only lacking a blocked shot. He has a team option for next season worth just over $2.8 million; we’ll see if Sims has done enough for the Bucks to pick it up.

Ryan Rollins accounted for 23 points (8-of-19 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), two rebounds, six assists, two steals, one block and one three-pointer in Wednesday’s loss to the Pistons.

Having missed three of the Bucks’ prior four games, Rollins still logged 33 minutes on Wednesday. And he was productive, recording a complete stat line and extending his streak of games with at least 20 points to three. While he was selected in drafts following Damian Lillard’s exit, few expected Rollins to be as valuable to fantasy managers as he’s been this season. Giannis Antetokounmpo’s future in Milwaukee will affect the entire roster, but Rollins has been productive enough to gain the trust of managers in 12-team leagues heading into the 2026-27 season.

Ousmane Dieng tallied 17 points (6-of-13 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, four assists and four three-pointers in Wednesday’s loss to the Pistons.

One of the few positives for the Bucks this season may have been their acquisition of Dieng at the trade deadline. When allowed to play extended minutes, the 2022 lottery pick has been productive more often than not. Dieng did not record any defensive stats against the Pistons, but he shot 4-of-8 from three and offered solid production in the assist category. He’ll be a restricted free agent this summer, and his future in Milwaukee may be affected by what the franchise does with Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Alperen Şengün finished Tuesday’s win over the Suns with 12 points (5-of-15 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), 14 rebounds and six assists.

Şengün locking in during the fourth quarter helped the Rockets pull away in Phoenix. The Suns could not find an answer for the Rockets’ center, who was especially impactful in making plays for his teammates. In the fourth quarter, Şengün recorded three assists and committed just one turnover. While Amen Thompson led the way with eight assists, Şengün recorded six and was able to get the turnovers in check after being a bit loose with the basketball early on.

Amen Thompson accounted for 22 points (10-of-16 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), 11 rebounds, eight assists, three steals and one blocked shot in Tuesday’s win over the Suns.

Thompson was outstanding on Tuesday, finishing two assists shy of a triple-double. The Suns struggled to come up with an answer for the athletic wing, even though he isn’t much of a threat on the perimeter. In addition to his work on the offensive end, Thompson put up four defensive contributions, including three steals. With the Rockets still able to finish as high as third in the Western Conference, Thompson should continue to play starters’ minutes for the team’s final three games of the regular season.

Jabari Smith Jr. tallied 20 points (6-of-18 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), six rebounds, one assist, one block and five three-pointers in Tuesday’s win over the Suns.

For the second consecutive game, Smith scored at least 20 points and made five three-pointers. His percentage wasn’t good on Tuesday, with a 1-of-5 night inside the arc being more problematic than Smith shooting 5-of-13 from three. Add in the rebounds, and this was a solid showing from Smith, even with the low field-goal percentage. The Rockets have three games left in their regular-season schedule, starting with the 76ers on Thursday.

Kevin Durant amassed 24 points (8-of-20 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), four rebounds, three assists and five three-pointers in Tuesday’s win over the Suns.

Playing in Phoenix for the first time since being traded during the offseason, Durant started slowly on Tuesday. He missed five of his first six shot attempts, and the Rockets were on the wrong end of a 21-0 run during the first quarter. Durant and the Rockets would eventually find their footing, with the veteran forward leading seven double-digit scorers with 24 points. The victory pulled Houston into a tie for fourth in the West, but the Lakers do hold the tiebreaker. And third remains within reach, as the Rockets trail the Nuggets by one game with three to go.

AJ Green had 20 points (6-of-13 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, one assist, one steal and six three-pointers in Tuesday’s loss to the Nets.

With Ryan Rollins (hip) out, Green didn’t replace his playmaking ability. The 26-year-old shooting guard had just one assist, but he dropped 20 points and six three-pointers. Green is a shooter and more valuable for fantasy purposes in leagues that his ability to provide points and three-pointers and not much more in the other categories.

Ousmane Dieng, AJ Green, Taurean Prince, Pete Nance and Jericho Sims will start Tuesday’s game against the Nets.

The Bucks won’t have Ryan Rollins, Kyle Kuzma or Myles Turner for Tuesday’s game. Prince, Nance and Sims move into the starting lineup, with Prince offering the highest ceiling for those in active fantasy leagues.

Kevin Porter Jr. (knee) underwent a season-ending arthroscopic procedure on Tuesday.

Due to right knee synovitis, Porter has been out since March 17. The Bucks guard underwent an arthroscopic procedure on Tuesday to address the issue, officially ending his 2025-26 season. When healthy, Porter was very productive for fantasy managers, offering second-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats. The 25-year-old guard holds a player option worth nearly $5.4 million for the 2026-27 season. If Porter decides to remain in Milwaukee, he can be a valuable option for fantasy managers, regardless of what happens with Giannis Antetokounmpo.

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, JD Davison has signed a two-year deal with the Rockets.

Davison’s deal will be converted from a two-way to a standard contract, and he’ll fill out Houston’s final roster spot ahead of the 2025-26 playoffs.

Myles Turner (ankle) has been ruled out against the Nets on Tuesday.

Turner will be unavailable, which opens up a starting spot down low. Either Jericho Sims or Pete Nance will fill the void, though both should take on extra minutes.

While Thompson did not reach his ADP (22), he provided fourth-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats, so he was far from a disappointment in fantasy basketball.

Alperen Şengün tallied 24 points (10-of-19 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), six rebounds, seven assists, two blocks and one three-pointer in Sunday’s win over the Warriors.

Şengün’s layup with just under 12 seconds remaining gave Houston the 117-116 victory, extending their win streak to six games. The Rockets’ center finished with a final stat line that lacked only a steal, a positive end to championship week in Yahoo! default leagues. For those competing in leagues that will be active in Week 24, the Rockets still have plenty to play for in a four-game week. As a result, Şengün’s availability should not be a concern.

Jabari Smith Jr. amassed 23 points (9-of-12 FGs), nine rebounds, one assist and five three-pointers in Sunday’s win over the Warriors.

Smith shot 5-of-7 from beyond the arc on Sunday, making it seven straight games in which he’s made at least two three-pointers. The five triples were the most in a game for him since February 23 against the Jazz. Also, the 23 points were the most that Smith has scored in a game since March 20, when he hit that number in a win over the Hawks. Smith did not record any defensive stats, but the nine rebounds helped fantasy managers.

Kevin Durant finished Sunday’s win over the Warriors with 31 points (10-of-17 FGs, 8-of-9 FTs), eight rebounds, eight assists, three blocks and three three-pointers.

While he finished with 31 points, Durant’s biggest play on Sunday was an assist. His pass to Alperen Şengün led to the game-winning layup with 11.6 seconds remaining. The Rockets have won their last six games, and KD has averaged eight helpers per game during the run. In Sunday’s victory, Durant also provided solid value in rebounds and blocked shots, which fantasy managers were undoubtedly pleased with. For managers whose leagues run through Week 24, the Rockets play four games, starting with the Suns on Tuesday.

Taurean Prince accounted for 19 points (7-of-8 FTs), three rebounds, three assists, one steal and five three-pointers in Sunday’s win over the Grizzlies.

For those whose fantasy leagues have been active, Prince was a silly season standout in the Bucks’ final two games of Week 23. The veteran wing totaled 37 points, five assists, two steals and nine three-pointers, shooting 9-of-10 from beyond the arc. Prince made all five of his three-point attempts against the Grizzlies, providing excellent value in that category.

Cormac Ryan amassed 21 points (7-of-8 FTs, 4-of-4 FTs), four rebounds, three assists, five steals and three three-pointers in Sunday’s win over the Grizzlies.

Four days removed from the first 20-point game of his NBA career, Ryan recorded his second on Sunday. The 6-foot-5 guard missed just one shot attempt on the day, and he posted a career-high five steals. Given the Bucks’ many injuries, Ryan is getting a chance to show he deserves a more secure opportunity next season. He’s taken advantage in recent games.

Myles Turner finished Sunday’s win over the Grizzlies with 19 points (6-of-13 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), 11 rebounds, two steals, two blocks and one three-pointer.

Given the current state of the Grizzlies’ roster, especially in the frontcourt, many fantasy managers hoped to get a big-time performance out of Turner. He was good, recording his fourth double-double of the season and first since January 29. Turner also recorded four defensive contributions against the Grizzlies. Sunday aside, this has been a disappointing season for the Bucks and the center they signed in free agency. Hopefully, Turner will bring more to the table in 2026-27.

Back in the Bucks’ lineup after a two-game absence, Rollins had a good day at the office on Sunday. The Bucks play four games in Week 24, which is good news for those rostering Rollins in fantasy leagues that will be active.

Sunday’s game will be the seventh that Portis has missed with a sprained right wrist. His continued absence means that Pete Nance and Jericho Sims will play rotation minutes, with the former having started the last time out.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) is out for Sunday’s game against the Grizzlies.

While Antetokounmpo has insisted that he’s healthy and wants to play, sparking an ongoing investigation by the NBA, the Bucks continue to hold him out. Pete Nance was the starting power forward in Friday’s loss to the Celtics and recorded the first double-double of his NBA career. Given the Bucks’ injuries, he’s worth a roll of the dice in deep leagues.

Pete Nance accounted for 14 points (5-of-11 FGs), 10 rebounds, one assist and four three-pointers in Friday’s loss to the Bucks.

Making his fifth start of the season, Nance recorded the first double-double of his NBA career on Friday. The Bucks forward shot 4-of-9 from beyond the arc, and the ten rebounds represent a new career-high. As a starter, Nance played 33 minutes on Friday. And with it being highly unlikely that Giannis Antetokounmpo is back for Sunday’s game against the Grizzlies, Nance may get another start. He’s a risky play in fantasy leagues, but the minutes are there.

Taurean Prince finished Friday’s loss to the Celtics with 18 points (7-of-8 FGs), two assists, one steal, one block and four three-pointers.

Prince’s overall stat line will not jump off the page, especially with the lack of rebounds. However, he shot 4-of-5 from beyond the arc and scored a team-high 18 points. Prince played 25 minutes, and he’s shown on multiple occasions that he does not need to play heavy minutes to provide tangible fantasy value. If available, he’ll be worth streaming in deep leagues for Sunday’s game against the Grizzlies.

Tari Eason finished Friday’s win over the Jazz with 16 points (7-of-10 FGs), seven rebounds and two three-pointers.

Eason continues to find a bit of a rhythm ahead of the NBA playoffs and at the tail end of the fantasy playoffs. He made multiple three-pointers for the third time in the last four games and has now scored at least 15 points in four of his last five appearances. Eason’s new reserve role could be of high importance for the Rockets as the postseason nears. At his best, he can impact the game as a defender and multi-level scorer.

Thompson was one of the Rockets’ most productive players on the night. Despite a 34-point victory, he still logged 32 minutes and displayed his usual versatility on both ends of the floor. Efficient shooting inside the arc allowed him to conclude as one of two Houston players with at least 20 points. Meanwhile, his work on the defensive glass was a major factor in his team-high rebounds. As the fantasy season is nearing its conclusion, Thompson will have taken another step forward in Year 3. His potential remains high.

Kevin Durant amassed 25 points (8-of-12 FGs, 7-of-8 FTs), five rebounds, six assists, two blocks and two three-pointers in the win over the Jazz on Friday.

Durant had another efficient outing on Friday, needing only 12 shot attempts to score over 25 points and lead the Rockets in points. In addition to scoring, the decorated forward excelled on the glass and was also one of Houston’s leaders in assists on the evening. A 34-point win ultimately limited Durant to 30 minutes of action, but he still produced fairly well in his opportunities. The Rockets will close Week 23 on the road against the Warriors.

Kevin Durant totaled 19 points (7-of-16 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, nine assists, one block and two three-pointers in the win over the Bucks on Wednesday.

Durant played more of a facilitating role in Wednesday’s victory. He was Houston’s leader in assists, which nearly led him to a double-double. One noteworthy stat was Durant’s two turnovers, making his high assist total even more significant. The two-time Finals MVP will certainly have better nights as a scorer, but he did what was required of him to help the team to a fourth consecutive win.

Reed Sheppard tallied 27 points (9-of-15 FGs), four rebounds, six assists, two steals and nine three-pointers on Wednesday in the win over the Bucks.

Sheppard had the hot hand against Milwaukee. All but one of his 15 shots were three-pointers, and he finished just one made triple away from logging 10 makes. Nevertheless, the second-year guard was one of Houston’s most productive scorers on the evening. His production has fluctuated throughout the season, but with back-to-back 20-point games, Sheppard could be entering the postseason with some momentum.

Alperen Şengün logged 25 points (9-of-13 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), eight rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block and two three-pointers in the win over the Bucks on Wednesday.

Şengün showcased his versatility in Wednesday’s victory. As a scorer, he produced at the free-throw line, inside the arc, and from deep, en route to finishing as one of the Rockets’ leading scorers. He also distributed the ball well and was disruptive on the defensive end of the floor. He’s played some good basketball down the stretch of the season, and it’s coincided with team success. Friday’s matchup against the Jazz will present Şengün with another opportunity to log big numbers.

After going with a bigger starting lineup in Tuesday’s rout of the Knicks, it’s business as usual for the Rockets on Wednesday. Sheppard returns to the starting lineup, with Tari Eason heading to the bench.

Kevin Durant had 27 points (10-of-18 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, eight assists, two blocks and four three-pointers in the Rockets’ 111-94 victory over the Knicks on Tuesday.

Durant started the game on fire by making his first four shots and scoring 10 points in the first three minutes of the game. The 37-year-old small forward also had six rebounds and eight assists, adding two blocks on the defensive end. Durant has provided third-round per game value over the last two weeks. The Rockets have three games remaining in Week 23, with a matchup against the Bucks on Wednesday coming next.

Head coach Ime Udoka said that the decision to start Eason over Reed Sheppard was based on the matchup, so Sheppard could return to start against the Bucks on Wednesday. However, Eason will get the nod for this game and will look to stay hot after averaging 15.5 points and 7.5 rebounds over his last two games.

Jabari Smith Jr. amassed 20 points (7-of-15 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, three assists, two blocks and four three-pointers in Sunday’s win over the Pelicans.

Smith was unable to extend his run of double-doubles to three games, but he has scored 20 points or more in three of his last six. The Rockets forward shot 4-of-9 from beyond the arc, and the two blocks moved his total to four over the last three games. Since the All-Star break, Smith has provided sixth-round value in eight-cat formats. While there have been occasional hiccups, his production has been more consistent than it was earlier in the season.

Kevin Durant tallied 20 points (7-of-16 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), four rebounds, six assists, one steal and one three-pointer in Sunday’s win over the Pelicans.

With Alperen Şengün dominating on both ends of the floor, Durant’s 1-of-7 night from beyond the arc was not an issue. He still hit 20 points and dished out six assists, so this was not a bad night for him by any stretch of the imagination. Since the All-Star break, Durant has provided first-round value in eight-cat formats. The Rockets begin a four-game Week 23 on Tuesday against the Knicks.

Alperen Şengün finished Sunday’s win over the Pelicans with 36 points (12-of-23 FGs, 7-of-8 FTs), 14 rebounds, seven assists, three steals, three blocks and five three-pointers.

After recording consecutive 30-point games, Şengün was limited to 14 in Friday’s win over the Grizzlies. To say he got back on track in New Orleans would be accurate, as the Rockets’ center was dominant in all phases. Şengün finished three assists shy of a triple-double, and the six defensive contributions were a great bonus for fantasy managers. The Rockets play four games in Week 23, starting on Tuesday against the Knicks, which is excellent news for those rostering Şengün.

Reed Sheppard posted a full line on Friday with 15 points (6-of-15 FGs), five rebounds, five assists, four steals, one block and three three-pointers against the Grizzlies.

Though Sheppard’s 28 minutes were fewer than the other starters, that was enough time for him to stuff the stat sheet. It took time, but Sheppard appears to be locked in as a starter. In that role over their last five games, he has averaged 15.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 6.4 assists, 2.6 steals, 1.0 block and 3.4 triples per game, which has led to top-20 production in nine-category leagues despite him shooting 40.3 percent from the floor during that stretch. Sheppard is a fantasy superstar, and he’s finally getting the chance to showcase what he can do.

Jabari Smith Jr. recorded a double-double on Friday with 21 points (7-of-16 FGs, 5-of-8 FTs), 16 rebounds, four assists, one block, two three-pointers and five turnovers against the Grizzlies.

Though the turnovers put a damper on his outing, he was able to set a new season high for rebounds in the win. This was his second straight double-double, with the most recent one before that coming before the All-Star break. Smith has struggled with his shot lately, and this game wasn’t an exception. Still, he was able to make up for it on the glass, though he’s going to have to do a lot more to make an impact for fantasy managers.

Kevin Durant led the Rockets with 25 points (8-of-14 FGs), six rebounds, 10 assists, one steal and three three-pointers in a 119-109 win over the Grizzlies on Friday.

KD has been on an offensive tear as of late, averaging 29.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 3.6 triples while shooting 54.9 percent from the floor over his last five games while scoring at least 25 points in each. This was his third point-assist double-double of the season, and while he has been able to contribute assists at a decent rate this year, managers shouldn’t expect many more double-doubles.

Amen Thompson totaled 11 points (4-of-8 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), nine rebounds, 10 assists and two blocks in Wednesday’s loss to the Timberwolves.

Thompson’s 45 minutes of action featured noteworthy activity on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he picked his spots as a scorer and, on limited field-goal attempts, narrowly made it to double figures in points. Durant struggled for most of Wednesday’s contest.
