With Jusuf Nurkić out for the season and Lauri Markkanen down for at least another week, the Jazz will rely on Kyle Filipowski and Oscar Tshiebwe to handle the frontcourt responsibilities now that Love is also out for Monday’s game. Filipowski offers a far higher fantasy ceiling.

Bailey didn’t have a good night shooting the basketball, but he was impactful in other ways. The rookie wing was active on the glass, grabbing eight rebounds for the fourth time in his last seven games. Also, Bailey matched his season-high with three blocks, hitting that number for the third time this season. Rostered in 34 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Bailey has provided tenth-round value in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break, according to Basketball Monster. He’s one player whose opportunities should not decrease between now and the end of the fantasy season, making Ace a worthwhile target for the silly season.

With Keyonte George returning from a sprained ankle, Collier was moved to the bench to begin Saturday’s game. However, he still played plenty, with the second-year guard logging 33 minutes. Playing time should not be an issue for Collier, especially when considering how well George played to begin the season. At this point, getting more “data” on Collier may be the priority for the lottery-bound Jazz, which raises his fantasy ceiling for the silly season.

George was back in the Jazz lineup on Saturday after a six-game absence. And unsurprisingly, the Jazz guard was limited in how much he could play. George logged 23 minutes, checking out for good with just over four minutes remaining in the third quarter. Isaiah Collier logged 33 minutes off the bench, and fantasy managers should prepare for a similar split the rest of the season for draft lottery reasons. Utah opens a four-game Week 19 schedule on Monday against the Nuggets.

The Rockets won’t have Jabari Smith Jr. (ankle) for a few games, which opened up a spot in the starting lineup for Sheppard. He didn’t have a great day shooting the basketball, with the second-year guard making four of his 11 attempts from beyond the arc. However, Sheppard did not commit a turnover in his 36 minutes. Having shown at various points this season that he can provide suitable fantasy value, Sheppard is worth slotting into lineups ahead of Houston’s four-game Week 19.

While his percentages weren’t good, Thompson did finish Saturday’s defeat with a double-double and his second 20-point performance in three games. While it’s highly unlikely to change between now and the end of the season, Thompson needs to further develop his perimeter shot, at least to the point where opposing teams have to respect it. While he can still be effective without a reliable shot, it makes producing offense as a scorer and creator more difficult.

The Heat used multiple defenses to slow down Durant, but nothing worked. In addition to shooting 60 percent from the field, the Rockets’ forward dished out eight assists, equal to his tally in his prior two games. Add in the rebounds, blocks and three-pointers, and this was an excellent afternoon to have Durant rostered. The Rockets play four games in Week 19, starting with the Wizards on Monday in the final game of their road trip.

Sensabaugh scored at least 20 points for the third time in Utah’s last four games. While he hasn’t done much else consistently, he has proven to be an effective scorer throughout his first three seasons in the NBA. After being held to four points in Monday’s loss, Bailey got back on track in this one. This was the second-highest scoring outing of his career, surpassed only by his 25-point game against the Spurs last month. Durant went nuclear in this game, setting new season highs for both scoring and shot attempts in the win. Markkanen injured his hip and ankle in practice on Wednesday, but it’s the hip that will force him to miss time. A double-figure scorer in seven straight games, Sheppard’s 28 on Wednesday were the most in a game for him since he hit that number in a December 20 win over the Jazz.
