Adams was inserted into the starting lineup for Wednesday’s win over the Cavaliers, bumping Josh Okogie to the bench. Okogie may have been moved back into the starting lineup regardless of Adams’ status. Still, the chances of him returning to that role increase exponentially if the veteran center’s knee keeps Adams out.

Smith was initially questionable for Wednesday’s win over the Cavaliers, but he started and played 31 minutes. Sarr did not play in Wednesday’s loss to the Timberwolves, with Marvin Bagley replacing him in the starting lineup. However, with Bagley (hip) doubtful for Friday night, Sarr’s availability is even more critical. If both players are unavailable, the Wizards will have to rely on a rotation of Tristan Vukčević and Anthony Gill.

Filling in for the injured Alex Sarr, Bagley played 31 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to the Timberwolves. However, he landed hard on his hip while attempting to grab a rebound, which led to Bagley’s appearance on the injury report. With Sarr questionable for Friday’s game, Tristan Vukčević will figure more prominently in the Wizards’ rotation. He is only worth streaming if Sarr and Bagley can’t play.

After totaling seven points on 2-of-11 shooting in his prior two appearances, Coulibaly needed a night like Wednesday. He only missed one shot from the field, and the final stat line was only lacking in the steals category. Coulibaly’s inconsistent offense is what holds him back in fantasy, as he’s only shooting 42 percent from the field. However, he’s shot 58.3 percent from the field over the past two weeks, which is why he’s been a third-round player during this stretch.

With Alex Sarr (toe) out, Bagley made his first start of the season on Wednesday. He had a good night, shooting over 50 percent from the field and recording a near-complete stat line. Bagley is only rostered in one percent of Yahoo! leagues, so there weren’t many managers willing to roll the dice. However, he’ll be worth a look in deep leagues if Sarr misses more time. Tristan Vukčević served as the backup center on Wednesday, finishing with seven points, five rebounds, one assist and one three-pointer in 20 minutes.

George continues to flourish, most recently doing so on a night when the Wizards were without Alex Sarr. The second-year wing has scored at least 20 points on five occasions this season, including each of his last two appearances. In fantasy basketball, only Sarr has been more valuable than George among Wizards players thus far. Given how well Kyshawn has played, that’s unlikely to change anytime soon.

Holiday has hit double figures in three straight games, with Wednesday’s total being a season-high. He didn’t provide anything beyond the points, three-pointers and percentages, so there’s no need to consider rostering Holiday. Reed Sheppard (12/2/2/1/1 with two three-pointers) remains the superior option for fantasy managers, especially with Tari Eason out due to injury.

Şengün was outstanding on Wednesday, outplaying Cleveland’s tandem of Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen while recording his ninth double-double of the season. The Rockets center, who was effectively the starting power forward with Steven Adams (6/11/3/0/1) in the lineup, is providing top-25 value in eight- and nine-cat formats. That aligns with Şengün’s Yahoo! ADP, so those who have him rostered are in a good place.

Durant was on the proverbial “struggle bus” Wednesday night, shooting poorly from the field and committing four turnovers. Thus far, while his numbers remain solid, KD’s fantasy value has not met the expectations of most managers. Ranked just outside the top-50 in nine-cat formats, he has been two rounds more valuable in eight-cat. Given Durant’s track record and skill set, there’s no need for fantasy managers to lose any sleep over his most recent performance.

Thompson notched his second double-double of the season on Sunday, but he had a difficult night shooting-wise. Over his last two games, the third-year wing has shot 10-of-30 from the field. The good news for Houston is that Reed Sheppard picked up the slack, coming off the bench to score 16 points with seven rebounds, two assists, one steal and two three-pointers. With all that Thompson brings to the table defensively and as a secondary playmaker, his role is secure. And Sheppard is developing into a player who doesn’t need to start to provide tangible fantasy value.

Şengün has recorded a double-double in four straight games, with Sunday’s being his first with at least 30 points since Houston’s season-opener. Unfortunately, fantasy managers took a beating in the field-goal percentage and turnover (five) categories, but efficiency has not been a significant issue for the Rockets center this season. Durant has scored at least 30 points in two straight and three of his last four appearances, serving as an offensive catalyst during Houston’s four-game win streak. Playing on a better all-around squad than the Suns team he left during the offseason, KD’s points, rebounds and assists have decreased, but not by much. All it takes for him to make good on his Yahoo! ADP (16) is a sustained run of excellence, something he’s shown himself capable of doing throughout his illustrious NBA career. Unfortunately, the Rockets play only two games in Week 5.

George knocked down five of 10 attempts from beyond the arc, finishing just shy of his second 30-point outing of the season. It was an impressive individual showing, but it wasn’t enough to keep Washington from dropping its 11th straight game, falling to 1-12 on the year. The 21-year-old has averaged 19.7 points over his last three contests, performing at roughly a fifth-round level for fantasy purposes during that stretch. Şengün has been a force all season, but this was arguably his best performance of the year. He fell one assist of a triple-double, but it was the defensive production that really made this an elite performance for him. His assists and steals matched his season-high, while the blocks were the most he’s had in a game this year. On top of that, he didn’t turn the ball over once. Such well-rounded stat lines are the new normal for Sengun in his fifth NBA season, having firmly placed himself on the short list of upper-echelon centers.
