Nembhard had a rough afternoon in Toronto, continuing a slump in which he’s shot 12-of-40 from the field over his last three games. Having shot 36.1 percent from the field, his fantasy value is ranked outside the top 150 over the past two weeks. While his season-long fantasy value remains respectable, Nembhard’s value has not received the boost that many fantasy managers hoped with Tyrese Haliburton unavailable. He’s higher on opposing teams’ scouting reports, and that’s affected Nembhard’s efficiency.

Sunday’s game got away from Siakam and the Pacers in the third quarter, as the Raptors outscored them by a 44-26 margin. That factored into Spicy P playing only 24 minutes, which may be a concerning development for managers counting on him to deliver consistently excellent production through the fantasy playoffs. However, this was the first game since January 10 in which Siakam played less than 32 minutes, so there’s no need to panic. The Pacers play five games in Week 17, starting with the Knicks on Tuesday.

Furphy appeared to injure his right knee due to an awkward landing after throwing down a dunk during the third quarter. Requiring assistance to get off the court, the second-year wing was then taken to the locker room via wheelchair. Furphy finished with four points, two rebounds and three assists in 15 minutes.

Available to make his Hawks debut, Hield did not play as Quin Snyder stuck to a nine-man rotation. While things could always change after the All-Star break, since the team will be able to get in some practice time, Hield wasn’t a good fantasy option with the Warriors before the trade. There’s no need to roster him in fantasy leagues.

Wearing a facemask reminiscent of the one worn by Hannibal Lecter, Okongwu returned to the Hawks’ lineup after a four-game absence. The fact that he shot over 50 percent from the field was a positive, as was his ability to play 30 minutes. Jock Landale (five points, one assist and one three-pointer), who shone in his Hawks debut, played 17 minutes off the bench. Unfortunately, fantasy managers will be best served to move on from him with Okongwu back in the fold.

There’s never a good time to suffer an injury, but Risacher’s knee injury came on the heels of him shooting 7-of-9 from three in a January 7 win over the Pelicans. In his first three games back, the Hawks forward shot 2-of-10 from deep, so Saturday’s 4-of-4 effort was a welcome sign. For the season, Risacher is shooting 35 percent from three, making it easy to dismiss Saturday as a departure from the norm. He was also responsible for three blocks in the defeat, another statistical anomaly for the second-year wing.

Johnson, who’s headed to the All-Star Game for the first time next week, recorded another stellar stat line on Saturday. The only thing missing was a blocked shot, but he remained efficient as a scorer and playmaker. Over the past two weeks, Johnson has provided top-10 per-game value in eight- and nine-cat formats, according to Basketball Monster. Walker came off the bench and nearly secured a double-double in his 30 minutes of game action. He took advantage of his scoring opportunities by converting shots at an efficient rate and was active on the boards throughout the game, allowing him to finish as Indiana’s leading rebounder. The versatile forward did some good things on the defensive end, as well, leading to another strong performance overall. Walker should continue to be a nice piece off Indiana’s bench the rest of the season.

Siakam struggled with his shooting on Friday, especially from behind the three-point line, where he made just one of eight attempts. Missed opportunities from the foul line also cost him some points, but he still finished as Indiana’s second-leading scorer against the Bucks. The veteran forward made up for his inefficient shooting performance by making solid contributions on the glass and as a passer. Yet, he left a lot of meat on the bone in this game. He’ll have a chance to get back on track against the Raptors on Sunday.

Despite inefficient shooting, especially from beyond the arc, Nembhard had the shooting volume and free-throw production to conclude as Indiana’s leading scorer on Friday. He shouldered the load as a facilitator, as well, leading the Pacers in assists and nearly notching a double-double. The production and high minutes total were encouraging from a fantasy basketball perspective, given his recent missed game due to a back injury. According to Landale, he was sitting on the plane, ready to head to Utah, when he was told that he was going to Atlanta instead. And it’s a good thing for the Hawks that they got in on that trade. Making his Hawks’ debut against the Jazz, the 6-foot-11 center became the second player in franchise history to record at least 25 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in his debut, joining Glenn Robinson. After recording a total of two triple-doubles in his first four NBA seasons, Johnson now has ten in 2025-26 alone. Alexander-Walker delivered a win on Thursday, as his jumper with 1.3 seconds remaining was the difference in the 121-119 victory. His play throughout the season was one reason why the Hawks were willing to end the Trae Young era, and fantasy managers have also benefited. Even though the Pacers are not in contention this season, Zubac is signed through the 2027-28 season with his three-year, $58.6 million deal. The 28-year-old is averaging 14.4 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 43 games this season. He will slide into the starting center role for a team in desperate need of a big man, and then will form a strong core with Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam next season. This trade is also good news for the Thunder, who own the rights to the Clippers’ first-round pick. With the Clippers trading away Zubac and James Harden, that pick figures to be pretty high in the upcoming draft. The Pacers are also sending their 2016 first-round pick to the Clippers, but that pick is top 1-4 and 10-30 protected. Given that the Pacers currently have the third-worst record in the NBA, it would be a huge risk for them to play their best lineup going forward and risk picking in that 5-9 range. As a result, we may see a lot of rest days for their better players, including Zubac, in the days ahead.
