Siakam and Sheppard sat out Sunday’s win over the Nuggets, with the former’s absence being more impactful. Obi Toppin replaced Spicy P in the starting lineup and was excellent, hitting four three-pointers and scoring 22 points. He’ll remain in that role if Siakam cannot play on Tuesday. As for Sheppard, his absence led to Johnny Furphy playing a few rotation minutes, but that was not enough to impact fantasy basketball.

Tuesday’s game will be the third Green has missed since injuring his left shoulder during an April 2 loss to the Pacers. While DaQuan Jeffries made one start in his absence, Josh Okogie was the choice for Sunday’s loss to the Bulls. Neither player has been consistent enough to merit being streamed in Green’s absence.

With Tyrese Haliburton (9/3/14/1/1 with one three-pointer) struggling to find his groove as a scorer, Nembhard was one of the Pacers who picked up the slack. Rostered in 30 percent of Yahoo! leagues, the third-year guard has been a ninth-round player over the past two weeks. Nembhard’s fantasy ceiling remains low as Haliburton’s sidekick in the backcourt, but his floor has been relatively safe this season.

Turner did not provide much value as a rebounder, but category league managers will continue to value his points, blocks and three-pointers. The Pacers center has made 10 three-pointers and blocked 11 shots in his last three games, which has made him a third-round player in nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. For fantasy managers whose leagues will be active, Indiana plays four games during Week 23, starting with the Wizards on Tuesday.

Due to the Pacers not having Pascal Siakam, Toppin was tabbed to make his second start of the season on Sunday. And he was productive overall, shooting 50 percent from the field. However, Toppin did most of his damage before halftime, scoring 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting. He was 1-of-6 from the field in the second half, but other Pacers stepped up to help Indiana keep alive its hopes of catching New York for the three-seed in the East. The Pacers play four games during Week 23, and Toppin will have value in deeper leagues that remain active, especially if Siakam remains out.

Sunday’s start was the sixth for Simpson since the Hornets ruled LaMelo Ball (wrist, ankle) out for the rest of the season. While the rookie’s fantasy prospects for next season don’t appear promising, these games allow KJ to show he can potentially serve as Ball’s backup. Sunday’s performance was arguably his best of the season, with Simpson tallying a season-high 18 points. Rostered in two percent of Yahoo! leagues, KJ has provided ninth-round value in eight-cat formats over his last six games.

After missing Friday’s loss to the Kings, Williams was back in the starting lineup on Sunday. He held his own in the matchup with Nikola Vucevic, falling one rebound shy of a double-double while shooting well over 50 percent from the field. While the Hornets play four games during the final week of the regular season, it begins with a Tuesday/Wednesday back-to-back. Williams managers whose leagues will be active should plan for him missing one of those games. As a result, Jusuf Nurkic (18 points, three rebounds, one block and two three-pointers in 16 minutes) could make another start before the season ends.

Williams was a late scratch for Friday’s loss to the Kings, with his absence opening up a place in the starting lineup for Jusuf Nurkic. Siakam was questionable with an elbow injury, but ended up having one of his better games of late Friday against the Jazz. The 31-year-old power forward impacted the game in a number of ways. He had 22 points on 16 shots including two made three-pointers. Siakam also chipped in with five rebounds and five assists. He also made his presence known on the defensive end with three steals and four blocks. Siakam has provided fifth-round fantasy value over the last month as he continues to have a strong season.

The Hornets played Friday’s game without Mark Williams. And while Jusuf Nurkic (eight points, eight rebounds, three assists and one blocked shot in 24 minutes) was his replacement in the starting lineup, the change also freed up additional opportunities for Diabate. The third-year big man took advantage, recording his seventh double-double of the season and his first since March 8. Given Williams’s injury history, Diabate will have a few more opportunities before the season ends.

Simpson has started Charlotte’s last five games, reaching double figures in points on three occasions. During this period, the rookie point guard has averaged 11.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.6 three-pointers while shooting 39.3 percent from the field. While that has only been good for 13th-round value in eight-cat formats, the opportunity makes Simpson worth a look for deep-league managers desperate for an available point guard. At this stage in the season, Bridges is Charlotte’s only healthy fantasy-relevant player. While he did score a team-high 22 points against the Kings, the Hornets forward had a rough night shooting the basketball. Bridges was 2-of-11 from beyond the arc, which did a number on his overall field-goal percentage. Turner went off for 26 points Friday against the Jazz. It’s the most points the 29-year-old center has had in a game since January 16, when he dropped 28 points on the Pistons. Turner was 9-of-17 from the field including three made three-pointers and got to the foul line eight times and made five free throws. Turner isn’t known for his scoring explosions, though he is a good shooter for a big man. Williams once again had no production on the defensive end, but was efficient on offense and pulled down over 10 rebounds. The 23-year-old center isn’t a one-trick pony, but his skillset is limited to scoring and rebounding. He’s quite valuable in those areas, though. Ball underwent successful procedures on his right ankle and right wrist early this week. Unfortunately, injuries have been a significant factor in the Hornets guard’s career, as he’s surpassed 55 games once in his first five seasons. Toppin’s strong stretch continued on Monday, and this was his sixth-straight game scoring in double figures, which is his longest streak since he scored at least 10 points in nine consecutive games in December. Toppin has provided top-100 value in nine-cat leagues over the past week in just 19.8 minutes per game, which is an incredibly small sample size. Still, it shows just how effective he has been.
