Simmons was underwhelming in his first meeting with the Lakers as a Clipper with two points, three assists, and three rebounds. Nicolas Batum will likely get a surge in minutes if Simmons can’t suit up for round two on Sunday.

Jones Jr. was available to play 29 minutes against the Lakers on Friday, but he will be sidelined on Sunday. However, Norman Powell (knee) is probable, so he should fill Jones Jr.'s spot in the starting unit, which means that Kris Dunn will also remain in the starting lineup.

Having missed the Clippers’ last five games, Powell is probable for Sunday night. With Derrick Jones Jr. (groin) out, Kris Dunn may be able to stay in the starting lineup if Powell plays. Dunn isn’t an elite offensive option, but he has provided excellent steals production in recent games.

Bradley, the 28th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, is back in the Association. Most recently, he’s been with the G League’s College Park SkyHawks, averaging 14.0 points, 10.6 rebounds and 1.1 blocked shots per game. Bradley most recently played in the NBA during the 2022-23 campaign, appearing in 12 games for the Bulls. With Myles Turner and Thomas Bryant healthy, Bradley is unlikely to get the minutes needed to impact fantasy basketball.

A former first-round pick by the Bucks in 2022, Beauchamp was acquired by the Clippers in a trade for Kevin Porter Jr. prior to the deadline. Now Los Angeles is waiving the 24-year-old small forward in a housekeeping move to open a roster spot for Jordan Miller, who was given a standard contract.

Miller, a second round pick by the Clippers in the 2023 NBA Draft, has starred for Los Angeles’ G League team this year. Previously signed to a two-way contract, Miller is now on a standard deal that will pay him $1 million for the rest of the season. The Clippers are waiving MarJon Beauchamp to make room for Miller on the active roster.

Not thought to be much of a factor offensively, Dunn shot 6-of-7 from the field and scored 14 points in the first half. Add in another night of causing mayhem defensively and providing value in the rebound and assist categories, and Dunn showed why he’s worth rostering in deep leagues. Rostered in 13 percent of Yahoo! leagues, he has been a third-round player in eight-cat formats over the past three weeks. At a minimum, fantasy managers should stream Dunn until Norman Powell (knee) is cleared to return.

Harden had a brutal night in the Clippers’ first game at Crypto.com Arena since leaving for their palatial digs in Inglewood. He shot 1-of-10 from three and was responsible for six turnovers, and the 4-of-12 night from two didn’t do fantasy managers any favors, either. However, despite the efficiency concerns, Harden has been close to a first-round player in 12-team, eight-cat formats over the past three weeks. Managers who must be mindful of the turnover count would like to see Harden take better care of the basketball, but we all know who he is at this stage in his career.

Leonard had an uncharacteristically poor night at the foul line, making only two of his six attempts. However, more important for fantasy managers is that his playing time continues to increase, as he played a season-high 37 minutes. In the six games he’s played since being allowed to play 32 minutes or more, the Klaw has been a top 50 player in eight-cat formats. Leonard hasn’t been as valuable in nine-cat formats due to an average of 3.0 turnovers per game, but that isn’t something to lose sleep over.

Recording his third double-double in as many games, Zubac tallied a season-high 27 points on Friday. And the 16 rebounds were the most in a game for him since January 29, when he corralled 22 in a win over the Spurs. Since the All-Star break, Zubac has provided second-round value in nine-cat formats, averaging 18.4 points, 12.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 2.0 blocks per game. And given the Lakers’ lack of credible deterrents at the center position, Sunday’s rematch could be another showcase for Zubac.

Haliburton had at least 10 assists for the fourth straight game as he’s had a double-double in all four of those games. The 24-year-old point guard has rebounded from an uneven start to the season. Haliburton has been producing at a high level over the last three weeks with fantasy managers hoping that carries over to the fantasy playoffs.

Siakam isn’t known for his 3-point shooting, but the 30-year-old power forward now has three games with at least four 3-pointers made over his last 13 games. While he’s still not going to be a major contributor in threes going forward, fantasy managers will take the eight threes Siakam made Friday. Spicy P has been a top-50 fantasy player on the season.

There was hope that Powell would be able to return after missing the last four games with a sore knee. Unfortunately, he’ll have to wait at least one more game to return to the court. Kris Dunn doesn’t provide much offensive value, but the steals potential makes him worth a look in deep category leagues.

Mathurin is out Friday with a left wrist sprain, but he’s dealing with multiple ailments according to Carlisle. The 22-year-old small forward has had trouble scoring since returning to the bench. Ben Sheppard could see increased usage with Mathurin out multiple games.

Mathurin has a sprained left wrist and it’s unclear how much time he’ll miss. He’s struggled to score since returning to the bench. Ben Sheppard is one of the wings that could be asked to step up on Friday.

Powell has missed the Clippers’ four games since the All-Star break, but there is a chance that he returns against the other Los Angeles team. If he remains out, Kris Dunn and Derrick Jones Jr. will likely remain in the starting unit, with Bogdan Bogdanovic and Amir Coffey playing large roles off the bench.

Coffey may not be scalding hot, but he’s on a good run. He’s reached double figures in six of his last seven outings, averaging 14.0 points per game. Unfortunately, Coffey has provided minimal value outside of points and percentages during this run. For that reason, he has only offered 13th-round value in nine-cat formats. That should explain why Coffey remains rostered in just two percent of Yahoo! leagues.

From a “ball security” standpoint, this wasn’t Harden’s best night, as his turnover count matched the assist tally (six). However, The Beard recorded his third 30-point game in the last five outings and has provided top-10 value since February 13. As long as fantasy managers are in a position where they can withstand the high-turnover nights, Harden will be immensely valuable in category leagues.

After missing two games with a foot injury, Leonard played 33 minutes back in the lineup and recorded a complete stat line in Chicago. The point total wasn’t groundbreaking, but fantasy managers can benefit from the rebounds, assists and steals. In the five games he’s played since being cleared to exceed 30 minutes, Leonard has provided top-30 value in eight-cat formats. The concern for fantasy managers regarding Kawhi is back-to-backs, especially with the Clippers scheduled to play two during the default playoff weeks (20 through 22) in Yahoo! public leagues.

While Siakam has corralled at least eight rebounds in three straight games, the decreased scoring output has negatively impacted his fantasy value. Spicy P has scored 19 points or less in five consecutive games. Add in the limited defensive production, and Siakam is ranked outside the top 250 in nine-cat formats during this stretch. With the Pacers forward being a top-50 player for the season, this may be a good time to buy low on him, especially with Indiana having an advantageous fantasy playoff schedule (four games each in weeks 20-22).

Turner was scalding hot from deep Wednesday night, making all five attempts. Also, he recorded his second double-double in the last 10 outings. The rebounding tally is encouraging, as Turner’s average of 6.6 per game is the lowest since the 2020-21 campaign (6.5). However, while that was a season in which he led the NBA in blocks (3.4 per game), the production in that category hasn’t been as robust this season.

Haliburton put on a show Wednesday night, shooting 80 percent from the field and recording his third consecutive points/assists double-double. Also, this was his fifth 30-point double-double and first since January 2 against the Heat. Over the past three weeks, Haliburton is ranked second in eight-cat formats, per Basketball Monster. After an uneven start to the season, the Pacers point guard appears to be rounding into form as the fantasy playoff weeks approach. That’s excellent news for those who have Haliburton rostered.

While Leonard is back after missing two games with a foot injury, the Clippers remain without Norman Powell (knee). Dunn will stay in the starting lineup, while Bogdan Bogdanovic and Nicolas Batum return to the bench after starting Monday’s loss to the Pistons. Dunn doesn’t provide much value offensively, but he’s been among the NBA’s best in steals over the past month.

McConnell will miss a second straight game with a sprained right ankle. With Tyrese Haliburton expected to be available, the Pacers’ starting point guard will likely log more minutes, with the team going to a nine-man rotation. Haliburton played 40 minutes in Monday’s loss to the Nuggets.
