Nesmith and McConnell are back after sitting out Thursday’s loss to the Suns. The latter’s playing time may be limited, as it has been for most of this season due to persistent hamstring issues. As for Nesmith, while his playing time should not take a significant hit, he’s struggled for most of this season.

Slawson signed a two-way deal with Indiana in February, and this was his second time suiting up for the Pacers. He only played 11 minutes in his debut, but he played 32 minutes in this game and ended up turning in a strong line. The 2023 second-round pick should continue to play a role for Indiana over the rest of the season, but it will likely be too inconsistent for him to be worth rostering, even if he was productive in this one.

Nembhard got off to an insanely hot start to this game, entering halftime with 23 points while only missing one field goal attempt and one free throw. Unfortunately, he entered the game dealing with both a back injury and a neck injury, and he ended up not suiting up in the second half, though there was no official announcement from the team. This was still a productive night for him, but it was cut short by an early exit.

Zubac made his long-awaited debut for Indiana after they acquired him ahead of February’s trade deadline. He was solid in 16 minutes in the first half, though he didn’t suit up in the second half. It was great to see him suit up for his new team, but it is clear that the priority for the Pacers is to still maintain their pick, which is top-four protected. Zubac is still a fantasy star, but he may not get the opportunity to play enough to prove it over the rest of the season.

Nembhard is back after a one-game absence. With Ivica Zubac (ankle) cleared to make his Pacers debut, he and Nembhard can establish some on-court chemistry. Zubac has been sidelined since early February, which was before he was traded to Indiana. This will be his first action in a Pacers uniform, though managers shouldn’t be surprised if his minutes are limited. Still, it will be good to see him back out on the floor. The Pacers don’t play a traditional center apart from Jay Huff, and they have been resting a lot of their players lately, so the Knicks may be trying to give Towns a rest day before their Sunday game against the Warriors. If Towns were to miss this game, Mitchell Robinson would likely start, and Mo Diawara would play more minutes as a small-ball center.

The Pacers are certainly not trying to win many games right now, but neither were the Jazz, and they were up on the Knicks for a while on Wednesday. If Hart sits out on Friday, the Knicks will again turn to Landry Shamet for a bigger role with Jordan Clarkson playing around 25 minutes, as he did against the Jazz when he scored 27 points and grabbed five rebounds.

Anunoby, who shot 70 percent from the field on Wednesday, has scored at least 22 points in three of his last four appearances. While he did record a complete stat line against the Jazz, his numbers were limited beyond points and three-pointers. The Knicks still have two more games in Week 20, starting with the Pacers on Friday. And with the schedule easing up a bit, fantasy managers will hope for more robust stat lines from Anunoby.

For the first time this season, Towns has recorded seven assists or more in consecutive games. And KAT has been excellent since the All-Star break, providing first-round value in 12-team, eight-cat formats. Like many of his teammates, Brunson started slowly on Wednesday. However, he turned things around in the second half, shooting 6-of-8 from the field and scoring 18 points. Clarkson’s return to Utah was a special one, as the veteran guard gave the Knicks much-needed production off the bench. With Josh Hart (knee) unavailable and New York getting off to a terrible start, JC came through with his most productive performance of the season. The 27 points were a season-high for Clarkson, who also put up solid numbers in rebounds, assists, three-pointers and percentages. After playing just four minutes on Sunday, Jones returned to the starting unit for this game. He set a new career high for both points and three-pointers, and he fell one assist shy of recording the second double-double of his career. Hart finished Monday’s defeat with his 13th double-double of the season and third since the All-Star break. Due to decreased production across multiple categories, his fantasy value has dipped significantly since the All-Star break. After dropping 34 points in the Knicks’ blowout of the Nuggets to open their five-game road trip, Anunoby struggled against the Lakers on Sunday. The wing rebounded nicely on Monday, even if it did not result in a Knicks’ victory. Since the All-Star break, Anunoby has provided top-50 value in nine-cat formats. Brunson was one of the few Knicks to shoot the ball well against the Clippers, making just over half of his attempts on the night. Including Towns, four players were responsible for 97 of the Knicks’ 118 points. Add in 20 turnovers, and it’s nearly impossible to win a game against a team that has postseason ambitions like the Clippers.
