The 27-year-old sharpshooter knocked down 3-of-5 from three-point range and drained all seven of his free throw attempts to come up just shy of reaching the 20-point plateau. The Kings have a pair of contests against the Trail Blazers on tap before closing out next week with a home matchup against the Rockets.

LaVine sprained his left ankle during the first half of Sunday’s game and was not on the floor to begin the third quarter. He has since been ruled out for the rest of the night, with Nique Clifford joining the starters in LaVine’s place. Sacramento does not play its next game until Thursday; hopefully, that’s enough time for LaVine to recover from his latest injury.

Facing one of the NBA’s premier perimeter-shooting big men in Philadelphia’s Joel Embiid, Huff spent most of his time on the perimeter. Of the 12 shots he attempted, 11 came from beyond the arc. The good news is that Huff made four, but his field-goal percentage took a hit. However, more important than that was the split of the minutes. Huff played 27 minutes, with Isaiah Jackson (7/9/1) logging 12 and Tony Bradley (2/2/1/1) nine. If Huff can continue to get playing time of that quality moving forward, he becomes a more trustworthy fantasy option.

Nembhard has dished out at least seven assists in four straight games, and he has been a top-75 player in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks. With T.J. McConnell (15/2/5/2 with one three-pointer in 17 minutes) serving as the backup, the Pacers boast a point guard tandem in which both players can provide solid value, even with Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles) out for the season. Nembhard and McConnell will be especially useful for the final day of Week 8, as Indiana hosts the reeling Wizards.

Five Pacers finished Friday’s defeat in double figures, with Siakam leading the way. He’s scored at least 20 points in seven straight and 12 of his last 13 games, a big reason why the veteran forward has been close to a top-50 player in eight-cat formats over the past month. While Siakam’s slow start didn’t do fantasy managers any favors, he has turned things around. The concern now would be the Pacers deciding to pull the plug on some of its veterans, but that should not be an issue this early in the season.

Given the amount of time missed, the second-round pick out of Marquette will likely be under a minutes restriction. Jones won’t affect fantasy basketball now, but he may have “silly season” value if the Pacers can’t bounce back from their slow start.

With Zach LaVine (thumb) unavailable, Clifford made his third start and first since November 5. Unfortunately, things did not go well for the rookie first-round pick, as he missed all six of his three-point attempts. Even though he wasn’t the choice to step in for LaVine, Malik Monk (18/4/5/1 with three three-pointers) is the safer option for fantasy managers needing a streamer, even though he committed five turnovers. There will be better days for Clifford, but he isn’t ready to impact fantasy basketball at this point in his career.

The severity and how much time he could potentially miss won’t be learned until Friday, but Eubanks’ exit leaves the Kings light on options in the post. Maxime Raynaud will play plenty, with Precious Achiuwa slotting into the backup center role. That has also opened up rotation minutes for Doug McDermott.

With the Cavaliers regaining control of Monday’s game early in the fourth quarter, Siakam lost out on a few minutes due to Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle pulling the plug. Given how many games the Pacers have lost, this has to be a frustrating season for Siakam and, by extension, those who have him on their fantasy rosters. Having entered the season with a third-round Yahoo! ADP, he’s ranked outside the top-75 in eight- and nine-cat formats. And with Indiana being 4-17, buying low comes with the risk of “Spicy P” being shut down later in the season, as the Pacers regained control of their 2026 first-round pick via a June trade with the Pelicans.
