The Pistons did not have Tobias Harris or Jalen Duren for Sunday’s game, so Reed joined Isaiah Stewart in the starting lineup. “BBall Paul” wasn’t a prolific scorer, but the rebounds and assists will be helpful to the few who streamed him. As for Stewart, he supplemented his eight points with three rebounds, two assists, two steals and three blocked shots. He remains the superior option for fantasy managers while Harris and Duren remain out.

With Tobias Harris and Jalen Duren out due to injury, the Pistons needed someone to step up offensively. Enter Jenkins, who had the most prolific quarter for a bench player in franchise history on Sunday. Shooting 6-of-6 from beyond the arc, the second-year guard scored 21 points in the second quarter. Jenkins did not offer much scoring in the second half, but the second quarter enabled Detroit to bounce back from a slow start, with the Pistons scoring 47 points in the frame.

While Cunningham did not shoot the ball well from the field on Sunday, he was efficient in other ways. A perfect 11-of-11 from the foul line, the Pistons’ point guard was responsible for just one turnover, one shy of his season-low tally. Over the past two weeks, Cunningham has offered top-10 per-game value in eight- and nine-cat formats. The Pistons play four games in Week 12, starting with the Knicks on Monday.

Jones injured his right knee during the fourth quarter of Saturday’s loss to the Celtics when Payton Pritchard landed on his leg while attempting to reel in a loose ball. Jones eventually limped back to the locker room after being helped off the floor, but he was still seen struggling to put weight on his right leg after the game. This is the same knee that he injured during a November 16 game in Boston, with the sprained right MCL sidelining him for nearly six weeks.

Harden has tormented the Celtics over the years, but he was unable to get anything going in this one as Boston threw a combination of strong defenders at him including Derrick White, Jared Walsh and rookie standout Hugo González. The 36-year-old veteran point guard was held to less than 20 points for the first time in six games as Los Angeles’ extended win streak came to an unceremonious end. The Clippers have four games on tap next week including matchups against the Warriors, Knicks, Nets and Pistons.

Leonard had his hands full with Boston’s plethora of strong wing defenders as Jaylen Brown and company took turns making things challenging for the veteran superstar, who shot just 35 percent from the floor, including 2-of-8 from beyond the arc. Zubac failed to make a significant impact, despite logging 20 minutes in his return from a five-game absence due to a sprained ankle that he suffered back on December 20. The 28-year-old big man was unable to exploit Boston’s lack of strong interior defense, attempting just six shots in a one-sided affair. For the first time in four games, Thompson managed to crack double figures in the points category. And he’s been a disappointment in fantasy basketball thus far, sitting well outside the top-150 in eight-cat per-game value. For a player who many fantasy managers were banking on for top-100 value, the season has reached an uncomfortable point. While Cunningham has recorded double-doubles in two straight and four of his last five games, turnovers have been an issue. After recording five in Tuesday’s win over the Lakers, he was responsible for seven on Thursday. The good news for managers in eight-cat formats is that turnovers aren’t a factor in those leagues.
