Leonard, who has been playing through a lingering ankle issue, was the primary reason the Clippers were able to erase a near 20-point deficit after stumbling out of the gate on the second night of a back-to-back. Los Angeles got off to a sluggish start, scoring just 14 points in the opening quarter, but it was Leonard who led the way in the second half, scoring 14 of his 26 points in the final two quarters. The 34-year-old superstar has provided first-round value on a per-game basis this season, averaging 27.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.2 steals and 0.7 blocks through 28 games. The Clippers have three games on tap next week including matchups against the Hornets, Wizards and Raptors.

It’s taken longer than originally anticipated but the Clippers have finally started to figure out how to incorporate Collins into their offense as he’s scored 18 points or more in four of his last six games since January 1. The 28-year-old big man delivered an impressive all-around stat sheet stuffing performance in this one with eight stocks — five steals and three blocks — to help fuel Los Angeles’ second-half comeback. He’s supplied first-round fantasy value over the past two weeks, averaging 17.6 points, 6.1 boards, 0.4 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.1 blocks over his last seven games.

Harden did most of his damage in the second half, scoring 14 of his 19 points in the final two quarters, after Los Angeles got off to an agonizingly slow start in this road matchup. The managed to salvage an abysmal shooting performance on the second night of a back-to-back by getting to the line a whopping 11 times. It’s been another vintage Harden season so far as he’s averaging 25.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 7.9 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.3 blocks through 35 games.

After scoring 26 points on Friday, Leonard will be questionable for the second leg of the Clippers’ back-to-back. Kawhi has played in their last two back-to-backs, and if he is unavailable for this game, Jordan Miller has a good chance to start after scoring 21 points in 27 minutes on Friday.

Having recorded back-to-back 20-point games for the first time since mid-December, Butler could not extend that run to three on Friday. While the rebounds and assists were solid, this is part of the issue for fantasy managers. While capable of doing a lot more, many nights feel as if he hasn’t done much more than what’s required. The fantasy ranking may be good, but one can’t blame managers for lamenting what they’re missing on most nights regarding Butler’s production.

A big part of Melton’s fantasy appeal is his ability to record complete stat lines. That didn’t happen on Friday, but the Warriors’ guard had one of his best offensive performances of the season. The 19 points were three shy of his season-high, which was recorded on Wednesday against the Bucks. Melton has been a safe bet for assists and defensive stats in the past, so there isn’t too much need for concern following Friday’s lack of numbers in those categories. And he played 19 minutes; if Melton can consistently get closer to 25 minutes, he can be a game-changer down the stretch in fantasy leagues.

Curry and the Warriors pulled away with a dominant fourth quarter, outscoring the Kings by a 40-19 margin and winning by a 137-104 final score. And he didn’t make a shot during the final frame, missing both of his attempts and then watching the final four-plus minutes from the bench. Curry did enough before the fourth quarter to offer solid value, and he finished with a season-high 10 assists and his second double-double of the season. Over the past two weeks, Curry has been a top-10 player in eight- and nine-cat formats.

Harden put the Clippers on his back Friday, leading the team with 31 points. The 36-year-old point guard impressively and effortlessly carved up the Nets defense, shooting 10-of-13 from the field. That will help make up for his 6-of-17 game against the Knicks earlier this week. Harden is 18th-overall in per game value this year. The Clippers will be in Detroit Saturday as they take on the Pistons on the second night of a back-to-back.

Leonard is dealing with a sprained right ankle, but it was the left foot and ankle that kept him out of the lineup for ten games in November. He hasn’t missed a game since, but Friday’s game is the first of two in as many nights for the Clippers, who visit the Pistons on Saturday. Melton’s season-best performance wasn’t highlighted by any extraordinary takeover moments. The veteran guard never scored more than eight points in any quarter; instead, he picked his spots en route to setting a new season-high. Melton got a late start to the season due to a knee injury that kept him out until December. But since returning, he’s had several good scoring performances to boost this Warriors bench. He’ll have a chance to follow up his Wednesday performance with another strong one on Friday against the Kings.

Butler notched back-to-back 20-point games for the first time since mid-December, making use of the free-throw line to accomplish such. Thirteen of his points came in the second half to help the Warriors maintain their double-digit halftime lead, and Butler didn’t make any other noteworthy contributions in this game from a statistical standpoint. His scoring did the heavy lifting for his fantasy production.

One game after fouling out against the Clippers, Curry went without a foul on Wednesday and logged 34 minutes against the Bucks. On the court, the two-time MVP shot the ball very well from the floor and posted a 13-point third quarter to help ultimately reach the 30-point mark on the evening. Curry also tied a team-high in assists and committed just one turnover in the process. He’ll get a chance to have a great impact again when he faces the Kings on Friday for the first time this season.

While he was not on track to duplicate his 55-point effort against the Pistons on December 28, Leonard started very well on Wednesday. He scored 21 first-half points, likely causing many fantasy managers to envision another big night for the Clippers forward. Leonard would only score four points after halftime, shooting 2-of-7 from the field. While some of his teammates knocked down shots in the third quarter, Leonard’s failure to score in the fourth quarter helped the Clippers fall off the pace. Friday’s matchup with the Nets looks like a good one for Leonard to bounce back from a disappointing second half at MSG.

After attempting three shots from the field in his return to the starting lineup on Monday, Zubac was far more involved on Wednesday. The 14 attempts were the most he’s had in a game since December 11 (six games played), and Zubac finished with his first double-double with at least 20 points since November 23. With Zubac playing starters’ minutes, now is the time for the few who still have Brook Lopez rostered to move on.
