Harden didn’t have his best night shooting the basketball, but that can happen when the ball is in your hands at the end of the shot clock consistently. He kept the turnovers in check, committing three, and The Beard was perfect at the foul line. Over the past two weeks, Harden has only been a fourth-round player in eight- and nine-cat formats, thanks to his shooting 40.5 percent from the field. Let’s get the negative out of the way right now: Leonard’s streak of made free throws ended at 64 on Sunday. That was the only negative for the Clippers star, who enjoyed a historic night at the Pistons’ expense. Leonard tied the Clippers’ franchise single-game scoring record (James Harden set the original mark), and he joined Anthony Davis as the only players in league history to record at least 50 points, five steals and three blocks in a single game. Third quarters have been an issue for most of this season, but Kawhi solved that by scoring 26 of the Clippers’ 32 points in the frame (Detroit managed 27 points). The Clippers play three games in Week 11, starting with the Kings on Tuesday.

While there is certainly concern about how Tari Eason’s return may affect his value, Smith was solid in wins over the Lakers and Cavaliers to end Week 10. Also, Eason (nine points, six rebounds, two steals, one block and two three-pointers in 21 minutes) will remain limited to 25 minutes, and back-to-backs remain off the board for the foreseeable future. For that reason, Smith’s fantasy value may be protected for the time being.

The final score of 117-100 does not tell the whole story, as the Rockets led by more than 30 at one point in the second half. For that reason, Durant was not on the floor as much as fantasy managers would have hoped, especially after scoring 23 points in the first half. Over the past two weeks, the future Hall of Fame forward has provided top-10 per-game value in eight- and nine-cat formats. And given who Houston plays in Week 11 (Indiana, Brooklyn and Dallas), Durant could be in for more big games, provided the Rockets don’t race out to huge leads.

The veteran saw two triples drop early before following with three makes in the second quarter and four in the third. His four makes from beyond the arc in the third quarter were particularly impactful, as they helped flip the game and allowed the Clippers to come from behind and take a lead into the final period, which they would never relinquish. He scored 14 first-half points before scoring nine in the third quarter, and 11 more in the fourth to help him reach the 30-point mark for the eighth time this season. Leonard didn’t record any defensive stats, but that has not been the norm for him. The Clippers hit the road for their next game, Friday night in Portland.

Eason shot 75 percent from the field and made all three of his three-point attempts. For the season, he’s making nearly 51 percent of his 4.8 three-point attempts. That’s a far cry from Eason’s career percentage (36.4), so it’s fair to question if he can continue to shoot the ball that well. However, there’s no denying that Eason has improved in that area, and it raises his fantasy ceiling once his minutes increase. He’s rostered in 26 percent of Yahoo! leagues; it won’t be long until Eason is once again trustworthy in 12-team formats.
