Smith should be available to occupy his typical role off the bench. He has been a solid source of steals this year, but he’s only played 17.1 minutes per game. Unless there are multiple backcourt injuries in front of him, he isn’t worth rostering.

Adebayo has been ruled out against the Cavaliers on Wednesday, but this is a positive development for him. That will be a fourth straight absence for him, and his next chance to play will be on Friday against the Knicks. Kel’el Ware will continue to start at center until Adebayo is healthy. Bam was seen getting in some work after practice, with the posted video showing him doing defensive slides.

With Bradley Beal (hip) back on the sideline, Collins made his first start since joining the Clippers this offseason. While he was in the role many fantasy managers expected him to fulfill, the former Hawks forward struggled against the team that selected him in the 2017 draft. The bench role has limited Collins’ fantasy value, as he’s ranked outside the top-150 in nine-cat formats. He’s still rostered in 84 percent of Yahoo! leagues, with Beal’s injury putting some fantasy managers in a holding pattern. Collins’ production would not justify him being rostered in 12-team leagues if the Clippers were healthy.

Zubac recorded his fifth double-double in 10 games on Monday, continuing to provide solid fantasy value at the center position. Something to watch moving forward is Big Zu’s playing time, as he’s logged at least 30 minutes on five occasions. During the preseason, Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue said he wanted Zubac to play fewer minutes after he averaged 32 per game in 2024-25. However, offseason signing Brook Lopez (nine points, two assists, one block and two three-pointers) has not done enough to give the Clippers the two-headed monster they desired at the center position. If Zubac can consistently hit or exceed 30 minutes, his chances of making good on his Yahoo! ADP (41) increase.

While Harden’s three-point attempt with about 15 seconds remaining and the Clippers trailing by three drew some criticism, his play in the fourth was the only reason why the win was still for the taking. “The Beard” did more heavy lifting on a night when the Clippers were without Kawhi Leonard and Bradley Beal, recording his seventh triple-double in a Clipper uniform. Harden is now tied for the most triple-doubles in franchise history with Bob Kaufmann, Lamar Odom and Blake Griffin. It won’t be long until Harden occupies the top spot by himself.

Jaquez was one of two Heat players to establish a new career-high in rebounds, with Kel’el Ware being the other. Challenging to assess during draft season, Jaquez has provided excellent fantasy value despite coming off the bench. Rostered in 43 percent of Yahoo! leagues, he’s providing fifth-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats. It’s fair to question what Jaquez can do once the Heat get Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo back, but that shouldn’t be a concern at this moment. The only negative is that Miami plays only twice more in Week 4 and will be finished with their week on Friday.

Ware’s performance and effort level against the Cavaliers is what the Heat and fantasy managers want to see consistently. The second-year center’s 19 rebounds were a career-high, and one more than the Cleveland tandem of Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen combined to grab. Despite the inconsistent play, Ware is still close to a top-75 player in nine-cat formats. Games like Monday’s show what he’s capable of doing when the effort level matches the upside.

Based on his Yahoo! ADP of 11o, Wiggins was expected to provide late-round value in 12-team leagues this season. He’s been better than that so far, sitting within the top-75 in nine-cat formats. He made the game’s biggest play in Monday’s overtime thriller, slamming home an alley-oop pass from Nikola Jović as time expired to give Miami the win. The Heat not having Tyler Herro or Bam Adebayo gives Wiggins more room to work out of necessity, and he’s answered the call more often than not so far.

Having recorded six games of 20 points or more in his first seven appearances for the Heat, Powell dropped his first 30-point game on Monday. He was in “attack mode” throughout, resulting in the veteran guard attempting 14 free throws. With Bam Adebayo joining Tyler Herro on the sideline, even more of the offense runs through Powell, and he’s been up to the task. With unrestricted free agency on the horizon, Powell is providing top-25 value in nine-cat formats.

Initially questionable for Monday’s game, Beal is out with a sore hip. He’ll be replaced in the starting lineup by John Collins, with Kris Dunn serving as the starting two-guard. Collins’ fantasy value has suffered this season, as Derrick Jones Jr. has remained a starter and played well. It was an off night overall for Harden, who didn’t record a single rebound over 40 minutes of action somehow, but he did enough to record his fourth double-double in eight games to open the season. He struggled mightily from downtown in this one, draining just 2 of 10 from three-point range. He connected on three of seven attempts from beyond the arc and shot 63 percent from the field overall. Unfortunately, fantasy managers will have to account for the possibility that he doesn’t play in Saturday’s game against Portland after spraining his left ankle with just over a minute remaining in Friday’s victory. Friday’s game was the first for Miami since losing Bam Adebayo to a foot injury during Wednesday’s loss to the Nuggets. After coming off the bench in the two previous games, Ware moved into the starting lineup on Friday, and he struggled offensively.
