Beal is back on the injury report. The good news is that it is due to a sore hip, rather than the knee that was operated on during the offseason. With Kawhi Leonard (ankle) out, there are more scoring opportunities available to Beal. It was an off night overall for Harden, who didn’t record a single rebound over 40 minutes of action somehow, but he did enough to record his fourth double-double in eight games to open the season. He struggled mightily from downtown in this one, draining just 2 of 10 from three-point range. The Clippers, who have been without star Kawhi Leonard for three straight games due to a sprained ankle, will get back to business on Monday when they host the Hawks.

Zubac reached the 20-point plateau for the second straight contest as he was able to exploit Phoenix’s lack of impact interior talent by knocking down 10 of 12 shots in the paint. Jović nearly recorded a triple-double off the bench against a Portland team that entered the night ranked ninth in defensive rating. He connected on three of seven attempts from beyond the arc and shot 63 percent from the field overall. The 22-year-old hasn’t exactly been a consistent fantasy contributor this season, but performances like this offer glimpses of his all-around upside as he continues to develop. An increase in three-point volume would go a long way toward unlocking his long-term scoring ceiling.

Unfortunately, fantasy managers will have to account for the possibility that he doesn’t play in Saturday’s game against Portland after spraining his left ankle with just over a minute remaining in Friday’s victory. Friday’s game was the first for Miami since losing Bam Adebayo to a foot injury during Wednesday’s loss to the Nuggets. After coming off the bench in the two previous games, Ware moved into the starting lineup on Friday, and he struggled offensively. Depending on how long the Heat will be without Adebayo, they’ll need Ware to be consistently productive.

Zubac was neutralized as a scorer on Monday, which is unsurprising since he was matched up with Bam Adebayo for most of the night. However, the Clippers center was elite on the glass, grabbing a season-high 18 rebounds, and the assist tally was also solid. Through six games, Zubac is ranked just outside the top-75 in nine-cat formats, three rounds behind his Yahoo! ADP of 41.
