With Yanic Konan-Niederhäuser (foot) done for the season, Jackson has moved into the backup center role. The former first-round pick had his best game as a Clipper on Saturday, recording a double-double along with three steals. Jackson played 24 minutes and even started the second half in place of starter Brook Lopez (four points, one rebound). The veteran center only played 12 minutes, and Saturday’s game, being the Clippers’ second in as many nights, may have been a factor. Consistency has been an issue for Jackson throughout his career, but he doesn’t need to play starters’ minutes to provide value. Keep an eye on him during the first two games of the Clippers’ four-game Week 20.

In addition to having scored 20 points or more in five of his 11 appearances as a Clipper, Mathurin recorded his first double-double for the team on Saturday. While the defensive production was modest, all that was missing from the wing’s stat line was a three-pointer, as Mathurin missed all three of his attempts. Despite coming off the bench on most nights, he’s been productive enough to provide late-round value in 12-team formats.

After coming off the bench in each of his first two appearances for the Clippers, Garland moved into the starting lineup on Saturday. He was supposed to be limited to 24 minutes, but the point guard logged 28 against the Grizzlies. Garland didn’t record any defensive stats, which makes the field-goal percentage that much more impactful on his category league value. The Clippers’ four-game Week 20 includes a back-to-back, so Garland could be limited to three appearances.

After playing 37 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Spurs, Leonard was limited to 28 minutes on Saturday. After putting up an efficient 23 points in Wednesday’s rout of the Pacers, Mathurin struggled in San Antonio. The eight points were the fewest in a game for the guard since joining the Clippers, and he entered Friday averaging 19.2 points in nine appearances. Leonard has scored at least 30 points in three of the seven games that he’s played since the All-Star break. Unfortunately for him and the Clippers, Friday’s performance wasn’t enough to keep the team from letting a 25-point lead slip away. That is of little concern to fantasy managers, who had to be pleased with Leonard’s final stat line. The Clippers play one more game in Week 19, visiting the Grizzlies on Saturday.

While it occurred in a losing effort, Lopez had one of his best games of the season on Friday. Shooting 7-of-11 from two and 4-of-8 from beyond the arc, the veteran center’s 26 points were the most in a game for him since December 26. On that night, Lopez scored a season-high 31 points against the Trail Blazers. With backup center Yanic Konan-Niederhäuser (foot) having suffered a season-ending Lisfranc injury during Wednesday’s win over the Pacers, the Clippers will need more from Lopez. On Friday, he played 34 minutes, the fourth time since the All-Star break that the 7-foot-1 center has played at least 30 in a game.

The rookie big injured his foot on Wednesday and was already expected to miss the Clippers’ next two games. However, he’ll undergo surgery that will end his season early. He started to play more minutes after Ivica Zubac was traded to the Pacers, and there is still plenty of upside for the future. Over his final three games, he averaged 8.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.3 blocks in just 16.5 minutes per game. Garland’s playing time did not change much in his second appearance as a Clipper, with the 24 minutes being one more than his tally in Monday’s win over the Warriors.
