Alvarado and Olynyk were held out of Sunday’s loss to the Bucks, with Elfrid Payton and Antonio Reeves moving into the starting lineup. Brown’s nine assists were a season-high, and he’s reached double figures in scoring in six of his last eight outings. The Pelicans wing was an 11th-round player in eight- and nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. For managers whose leagues run through Week 23, the Pelicans play four games, making Brown worth a roll of the dice. He’s only rostered in 11 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Missi extended his streak of games with at least 10 rebounds to five on Sunday, and he has recorded three double-doubles during this stretch. For fantasy managers whose leagues ended with Week 22, the seven-foot rookie finished strong, providing top-100 value in nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. The Pelicans begin a four-game Week 23 in Brooklyn on Tuesday, and Missi is worth rostering since his place in the starting lineup is secure.

Reeves is one of the Pelicans who has benefitted from the absences of CJ McCollum and Jordan Hawkins, with the former being out for the rest of the season. The rookie guard has reached double figures in four straight and five of his last six appearances, with Sunday’s performance being his best. Reeves’ 23 points are the most he’s scored in a game since November 20, when he went off for 34 against the Cavaliers. For deep-league managers whose leagues will be active during Week 23, Reeves will be worth a look if Hawkins remains out.

Harden recorded his second points/assists double-double in three games on Saturday, with the 14 helpers being the most he’s recorded in a game since March 4. Over the past month, The Beard has provided top-10 value in eight- and nine-cat formats. While the turnovers have decreased slightly, Harden’s scoring output has increased. He’s averaged 23.9 points per game over the past month, just over one point higher than his season average of 22.5. The Clippers end the regular season with a four-game Week 23, starting with the Spurs on Tuesday.

Zubac may not be a popular name in most mainstream conversations regarding the Most Improved Player award, but he deserves to be mentioned. The Clippers’ center is having a career year, and he was elite on Saturday. Zubac did not miss a shot from the field or the foul line, and the double-double was his 55th of the season. By comparison, he had 50 double-doubles in the prior two seasons combined. From a fantasy standpoint, Zubac has offered fourth-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats over the past month.

Saturday’s game went as well as the Clippers could have hoped regarding Leonard. For the first time this season, he played both games of a back-to-back. Also, Leonard was effective while on the court and only needed to play for 25 minutes. Kawhi has been on fire over the past month, providing top-10 value in eight- and nine-cat formats. The Clippers’ four-game Week 23 begins with a Tuesday/Wednesday back-to-back, and one of those games is against a team headed to the lottery in San Antonio. Although Saturday’s experience was positive, it isn’t guaranteed Leonard will be available for both ends of the Clippers’ final back-to-back of the season.

For the first time this season, Leonard is available for both games of a back-to-back. With the Clippers blowing out the Mavericks on Friday, he only needed to play 24 minutes. Alvarado appeared hobbled during Friday’s loss to the Lakers but still logged 28 minutes as the starting point guard. Zubac has recorded a double-double in ten straight games, with Friday’s effort pushing his tally to 54 for the season. The Clippers’ center continues to impress, and he has been a fourth-round player in nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. Even better for the Clippers is Zubac played 27 minutes on Friday, the second time he’s failed to pass that number since the All-Star break. The Clippers are in a hotly contested race in the middle of the Western Conference, so any opportunity to get their starters additional rest will be welcomed.

Powell was solid on Friday, but fantasy managers were doomed when the game got out of hand by halftime. Over the past two weeks, he has only been an 11th-round player in nine-cat formats, five rounds lower than his season-long value. The decreased scoring output has been a factor, with Powell averaging 17.0 points per game over the past two weeks. By comparison, he’s averaging 22.2 points for the season. Missi’s 13 points were more than he had in any of his last three games. His 11 rebounds, however, gave him four consecutive games with at least 10 rebounds. The 20-year-old center isn’t a prolific scorer, but can clearly man the boards for fantasy managers looking for rebounds. Alvarado continues to take advantage of the Pelicans missing multiple starters down the stretch of the season. The 26-year-old point guard has now taken at least 12 shots in five consecutive games, something he seldom did before that stretch. Missi did not provide much value as a scorer on Wednesday, shooting 3-of-8 from the field. However, the areas where fantasy managers have come to expect solid value are where he was most productive. He’s reached double digits in rebounds in three straight and four of his last five appearances, and the three rejections were the most in a game for the rookie since March 19. Missi’s fantasy value has been low recently, as he’s ranked outside the top 200 over the past two weeks. The veteran guard returned 10th-round value in nine-cat leagues, declining in essentially every area of his game in his age-33 season.
