Wembanyama will be a game-time decision for Friday’s game. With the Spurs locked into the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference playoffs, Wemby and the Spurs’ sole motivation for him to play may be to ensure he’s eligible for postseason awards. He needs to play at least 20 minutes in one of San Antonio’s final two games to be eligible. Expect to see plenty of Luke Kornet on Friday.

Collins started on Wednesday for the injured Darius Garland to give the Clippers a bigger opening unit. He did solid work on the glass and was decent as a scorer in his 27 minutes, ultimately falling just short of a double-double. Collins has had an up-and-down season with the Clippers, with highs and lows coming in bunches. Whether or not he remains in the starting unit once Garland returns remains to be seen. He and the Clippers face the Trail Blazers on Friday in a game that could determine which team gets the Western Conference’s eighth seed and two guaranteed chances in the Play-In Tournament to advance.

Miller was one of the Clippers’ most impactful performers against OKC. He scored efficiently and produced well off the bench, and also finished in a tie for a team-high in assists during his 30 minutes. Leonard extended his streak of 20-point games to 56 on Wednesday. However, Oklahoma City’s defense made things tough on him throughout the night, as he shot under 50.0 percent from the field and committed three turnovers. The former two-time Finals MVP contributed on the glass and was solid from beyond the arc, but Wednesday certainly wasn’t one of his more productive outings.

With no Victor Wembanyama for Wednesday’s game, Bryant effectively served as the backup center against the Trail Blazers. And the look caused the visitors some trouble defensively, with the rookie forward stepping out to shoot 5-of-6 from beyond the arc. Whether the Spurs will call on that smaller lineup on occasion during the playoffs remains to be seen. Carter showed on Wednesday that he’s capable of taking on that responsibility if called upon.

Johnson was one of six Spurs to finish Wednesday’s victory in double figures, recording his first 20-point stat line since March 23. Yet to miss a game this season, Johnson is the clear betting favorite to win NBA Sixth Man of the Year, and with good reason. The Spurs forward has been consistently productive off the bench, one of the many reasons why San Antonio has the second-best record in the NBA.

Harper was one of two replacements in the Spurs’ starting lineup for Wednesday’s game, filling the void left by Stephon Castle (knee). And the rookie had a solid night overall, recording a complete stat line in 33 minutes. The lone negative was the turnover count, as Harper was responsible for five. That said, young players are going to have nights like that on occasion. Luke Kornet, who started for Victor Wembanyama, tallied 10 points, five rebounds, six assists, two steals and one three-pointer in 26 minutes.

No Victor Wembanyama or Stephon Castle for Wednesday’s game meant more scoring opportunities for Fox, whose 20 shot attempts were the most in a game for him since a March 5 win over the Pistons. And the Spurs’ guard was efficient, shooting 50 percent from the field. Fox’s turnover count was a tad high, as he was responsible for four, but he finished with an assist-to-turnover ratio of nearly 2-to-1. The Spurs are locked into the second seed in the West, so they may use Fox a little less than usual in the final two regular-season games.

Wemby was dialed in early in this game, shooting the ball efficiently while providing his usual presence on the defensive end.
