Following an extended absence, Hachimura appeared in three straight games before sitting out Thursday’s loss to Chicago. That game was the second leg of a back-to-back set, and the Lakers will likely manage Hachimura’s knee injury moving forward. He started and logged 28 minutes in his last game out, and fantasy managers should expect a similar workload against Memphis. Dorian Finney-Smith may see a dip in playing time as a result.

He wasn’t able to keep his streak of 35-point games alive, but this was another spectacular showing for one of the hottest players in basketball. He scored 15 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter, including a triple with six seconds left in the game that gave Chicago a lead after they trailed by 18 points earlier in the period. White has provided top-25 value in nine-cat formats over the past two weeks with averages of 29.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 3.4 triples per game, and he’ll look to stay hot against the Mavericks on Saturday.

Huerter rebounded from Monday’s nine-point performance in a big way on Thursday. He reached 20 points for the second time in Chicago’s last four games, and after only hitting one triple over their two previous games, Huerter knocked down five of them as the Bulls won their fourth-straight game. Huerter also hit the 1,000th three-pointer of his career, which is a special milestone for the 26-year-old sharpshooter. Since returning from seven-game absence due to a calf injury, James has been quiet as a scorer. He has scored less than 20 points in three of his last four games, and he barely held on to his lengthy streak of double digit games on Wednesday. He’ll get things clicking eventually, and he was able to make up for it with 12 dimes on Thursday, which was the most he has had in a game since early February. Unfortunately, the only things people will remember from this game will be LeBron turning it over late and then Josh Giddey hitting the game-winner from half court over James’ outstretched hand.

Doncic wasn’t able to extend his streak of 30-point games to five, but he was still able to provide well-rounded production despite a subpar shooting night. It wasn’t enough to offset the late-game heroics from Chicago, but it was more than enough to make an impact for fantasy managers. The Lakers will wrap up the week in Memphis on Saturday, and then they’ll play four games next week, with a back-to-back on Thursday and Friday. Reaves has been unstoppable recently, and he was able to add another 30-point performance on Thursday, which was his third over the past two weeks. It is worth noting that he tweaked his ankle in a second-straight game, but he was able to return to close out the game. He took advantage of an opportunity to be the hero twice late in the fourth quarter; he extended the Lakers’ lead to five with a pair of free throws and hit a layup with with three second left to give them the lead back. Unfortunately, his night was spoiled by some magical moments from Josh Giddey.

What a night it was for Giddey. Chicago has played the Lakers twice in their last three games, and Giddey has recorded a triple-double in both. He helped them storm back from an 18-point deficit early in the fourth, but he airballed a floater with 12 seconds left, which allowed the Lakers to take a five-point lead after a pair of free throws. However, a well-drawn play from Billy Donovan and a steal from Giddey allowed them to quickly take a lead with a pair of three-pointers. Giddey still had to put together one more magical moment after an Austin Reaves layup, and he was able to drill a shot from halfcourt over LeBron James at the buzzer to give Chicago the win. Giddey ranks in the top ten in nine-cat over the past two months and has truly bounced back after a disastrous final season in Oklahoma City.

After coming off the bench in his first two games back from the knee injury that sidelined him for nearly one month, Hachimura returned to the starting lineup on Wednesday. Still under a minutes restriction, Rui played 28 minutes and only attempted five shots from the field. However, he made two critical fourth-quarter three-pointers and was 4-of-4 from beyond the arc. Due to Hachimura’s minutes restriction, Dorian Finney-Smith (11/3/1/2/1 with three three-pointers) logged 31 minutes despite coming off the bench. James’ streak of 1,252 straight games in double figures was in jeopardy, as he entered the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s game without a made field goal. He made four during the final frame, with the last being a tip-in as time expired to give the Lakers the win. LeBron has shot 43.5 percent from the field over the past two weeks, a reason why his fantasy value has decreased. However, as he said during his postgame interview, James is good enough to be impactful even if his shot isn’t falling.
