Following an extended absence, Hachimura appeared in three straight games before sitting out Thursday’s loss to Chicago. That game was the second leg of a back-to-back set, and the Lakers will likely manage Hachimura’s knee injury moving forward. He started and logged 28 minutes in his last game out, and fantasy managers should expect a similar workload against Memphis. Dorian Finney-Smith may see a dip in playing time as a result.

While Reaves went off for 30 points during Thursday’s loss to the Bulls, he also tweaked his right ankle. With LeBron James and Luka Doncic off the injury report, the Lakers will have enough firepower to account for Reaves’ absence if he cannot play. Gabe Vincent and Jordan Goodwin may play additional minutes, but neither would be a must-stream player.

Since returning from seven-game absence due to a calf injury, James has been quiet as a scorer. He has scored less than 20 points in three of his last four games, and he barely held on to his lengthy streak of double digit games on Wednesday. He’ll get things clicking eventually, and he was able to make up for it with 12 dimes on Thursday, which was the most he has had in a game since early February. Unfortunately, the only things people will remember from this game will be LeBron turning it over late and then Josh Giddey hitting the game-winner from half court over James’ outstretched hand.

Doncic wasn’t able to extend his streak of 30-point games to five, but he was still able to provide well-rounded production despite a subpar shooting night. It wasn’t enough to offset the late-game heroics from Chicago, but it was more than enough to make an impact for fantasy managers. The Lakers will wrap up the week in Memphis on Saturday, and then they’ll play four games next week, with a back-to-back on Thursday and Friday. However, Doncic was able to play in this back-to-back for the Lakers, so managers shouldn’t stress, especially with LA fighting for playoff positioning.

Reaves has been unstoppable recently, and he was able to add another 30-point performance on Thursday, which was his third over the past two weeks. It is worth noting that he tweaked his ankle in a second-straight game, but he was able to return to close out the game. He took advantage of an opportunity to be the hero twice late in the fourth quarter; he extended the Lakers’ lead to five with a pair of free throws and hit a layup with with three second left to give them the lead back. Unfortunately, his night was spoiled by some magical moments from Josh Giddey.

With Milwaukee playing Wednesday without Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo, Lopez stepped up and surpassed the 20-point mark for a third straight game. Over the past two weeks, the Bucks center has offered third-round value in nine-cat formats. Even with the move into the starting lineup, not much changed for Trent regarding where he provided value. Eleven of his 15 shot attempts were from beyond the arc, with the Bucks guard connecting on four. AJ Green offered a more robust stat line despite coming off the bench, finishing with 15 points, five rebounds, five assists and five three-pointers in 34 minutes. Porter replaced Ryan Rollins in the Bucks’ starting lineup on Wednesday, providing solid value in the rebound and assist categories. However, he shot 33.3 percent from the field, including an 0-of-4 night from three. The lineup change may have benefitted Rollins, who spent more time playing against reserves. After coming off the bench in his first two games back from the knee injury that sidelined him for nearly one month, Hachimura returned to the starting lineup on Wednesday. Still under a minutes restriction, Rui played 28 minutes and only attempted five shots from the field. However, he made two critical fourth-quarter three-pointers and was 4-of-4 from beyond the arc. Due to Hachimura’s minutes restriction, Dorian Finney-Smith (11/3/1/2/1 with three three-pointers) logged 31 minutes despite coming off the bench. James’ streak of 1,252 straight games in double figures was in jeopardy, as he entered the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s game without a made field goal. He made four during the final frame, with the last being a tip-in as time expired to give the Lakers the win. LeBron has shot 43.5 percent from the field over the past two weeks, a reason why his fantasy value has decreased. However, as he said during his postgame interview, James is good enough to be impactful even if his shot isn’t falling. While Lopez has scored 20 points or more in four of his last eight appearances, the rebounding production should not be overlooked. The 10 boards he grabbed on Monday were the most in a game for the veteran center since March 4, and his average of 5.0 per game is the lowest for Lopez since the 2019-20 campaign. Appearing in a game for the first time since February 27, Hachimura was said to be on a limit of 20-24 minutes on Saturday. He only played 18, due partially to things getting out of hand in the Lakers’ 146-115 defeat.
