Friday’s game will be the eighth straight missed by Hachimura, who is dealing with left patellar tendinopathy. As for Hayes, he has missed the last four (counting Friday) with a right knee contusion. With Dorian Finney-Smith considered doubtful for Friday’s game, the Lakers must rely more on Jarred Vanderbilt at the power forward position. He doesn’t bring much to the table offensively, but the Lakers’ lack of depth makes Vanderbilt a player worth considering in deep leagues.

After returning from a calf strain that sidelined him for two games, Reaves’ first few outings weren’t up to his standards as a scorer. He shot below 25 percent from the floor in two of his first three games back, and he shot below 45 percent in all three. He won’t continue to be quite as hot as he was on Thursday, but it was encouraging to see him have an uber-efficient night, since he is more than capable of that type of production. Assuming the Lakers don’t opt to rest him in his first back-to-back since the calf injury, Reaves will look to keep it going in Denver on Friday.

After shooting 8-of-25 from the field during Monday’s loss to Brooklyn, Doncic had a much better night shooting the ball. His seven three-pointers were a new season-high, and his 45 points tied his season-high, which he set back in one of his final games as a Maverick this December. Unfortunately, he didn’t enjoy the same efficiency as a playmaker. He had 12 assists on Monday, but he only had three in this one and had twice as many turnovers as he did dimes. Doncic has at least five turnovers in seven straight games. After the game, Doncic was asked if he’d play the second night of the Lakers’ back-to-back in Denver, and he said “we’ll see.” Managers should keep an eye on the injury report ahead of that game, as Dalton Knecht could return to the starting unit.

Doncic was initially listed as questionable, but he will suit up against Milwaukee. The Lakers have lost two consecutive games, and they’ll need Luka at his best to end their slide. Jordan Goodwin may have started if Doncic was out, but he will still have a large reserve role.

Hart struggled with his shot Wednesday night, shooting 2-of-8 from inside the arc, but he still provided solid value. The Knicks wing finished one assist shy of a triple-double, which would have been his eighth of the season. Hart has only been a 10th-round player in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks, and the percentages have been a factor. During this stretch, he’s shooting 41.6 percent from the field and 71.4 percent from the foul line. By comparison, Hart is shooting 53.9 percent from the field and 79.3 percent from the foul line for the season.

Towns only attempted 12 shots on Wednesday, as the Knicks utilized a balanced attack to pull out the overtime win in Portland. Fantasy managers who may have expected to see KAT’s shot attempts increase substantially with Jalen Brunson sidelined are likely disappointed. After putting up 21 shots in a March 7 loss to the Clippers, Towns has attempted 27 in his last two outings. He’s scored 20 points or more in five of his last six outings, with the Knicks’ March 7 loss to the Clippers being the exception. Over the past two weeks, Anunoby has been a top 40 player in eight- and nine-cat formats. He’ll look to end Week 19 on a high note when the Knicks visit the Warriors on Saturday.

What a night for Bridges, who hit his first buzzer-beater as a Knick. His three-pointer over Donovan Clingan’s outstretched hand capped an efficient 33-point night for the Knicks wing, who turned some heads with his pregame comments about the workload the team’s starters have shouldered. Bridges said he felt fine after Wednesday’s overtime victory, which is to be expected, given the finish. The Knicks recorded 34 assists on Monday, with three starters dishing out at least seven. Bridges was one of those three, matching his season-high with eight assists. While Jalen Brunson’s absence freed up additional opportunities on the offensive end of the floor, that isn’t only about the shot attempts. Bridges can also provide value as a playmaker, especially on nights when the Knicks are moving the ball as well as they did in Sacramento.

McBride vowed to be better after struggling in Friday’s loss to the Clippers, and he was a man of his word. The Knicks guard shot 5-of-7 from the field in the first quarter, setting the tone as New York moved to 1-2 on its current five-game road trip. Even with only two more games on his Week 19 schedule, McBride is worth adding in deep leagues as long as Jalen Brunson (ankle) remains out. Anunoby experienced an injury scare during the third quarter of Monday’s game as he rolled his left ankle on a drive to the basket. However, the Knicks forward remained on the court after a timeout was called, and he played without further issues. After scoring an inefficient 23 points in Friday’s loss to the Clippers, Towns was considerably better on Monday. He shot over 50 percent from the field and recorded a complete stat line for the Knicks, who assisted on 34 of their 45 field goals. An elite fantasy option for most of this season, Towns’ production since the All-Star break has not been up to par. He’s ranked outside the top 50 in eight- and nine-cat formats, and losing Jalen Brunson for a few weeks doesn’t help matters. However, fantasy managers should not be too concerned about KAT moving forward.

No LeBron James (groin) meant even more defensive attention was devoted to Doncic on Monday, and his shot suffered. The Lakers guard shot 32 percent from the field, but he did record his second triple-double since the trade. James will miss at least two weeks, so Doncic’s already-high usage will likely increase. And Austin Reaves (17/8/10/0/1 with one three-pointer) should offer more assistance moving forward, as he shot just 3-of-14 from the field on Monday. The Lakers are off until Thursday, when they face the Bucks in Milwaukee.

Due to the Lakers being down multiple rotation players, Len received the starting nod in Brooklyn. Unfortunately, it went the way many fantasy managers likely anticipated it going. Len provided minimal value during his time on the court, which was limited to 13 minutes due to his struggles. Jarred Vanderbilt (7/6/2/1 with one three-pointer) played 27 minutes off the bench and may be in for an expanded role for the remainder of the Lakers’ road trip. The Lakers were without three starters on Monday (LeBron James, Dorian Finney-Smith and Jaxson Hayes), with Knecht being one of the replacements. The rookie had a productive night scoring-wise, with the 19 points being the most he’s tallied in a game since March 2. The Lakers aren’t active again until Thursday in Milwaukee, the first of three games the team will play to conclude Week 19. Towns’ performance on Friday was uneven, as he got going after a slow start. The Clippers’ strategy early on was clear: have Ivica Zubac sprint down the court at every opportunity and look to punish mismatches. With Towns caught pursuing offensive rebounds, the Clippers benefitted early on. KAT would adjust, but he again had difficulty attacking smaller players on the offensive end of the floor. After enduring a stretch in which he scored 15 points or fewer in four straight games, Bridges was more productive on Friday. However, an aggressive start to the second quarter was countered by periods in which he had little impact offensively. And with Jalen Brunson (ankle) out at least two weeks, the Knicks need a more consistent Bridges on the court. From a fantasy standpoint, he has been underwhelming this season. This isn’t great news for New York in their fight to hold on to the No. 3 seed in the East, but it certainly could’ve been worse.
