This will be a fourth-straight absence for Morant. Luke Kennard should continue to start in his place, and he had been productive in that role. Clarke checked into Wednesday’s game with 7:30 remaining in the first quarter and exited a little over five minutes later with a sore right knee. The Grizzlies announced that he was doubtful to return, and he did not see any more action. John Konchar (3/3/2/1/1 with one three-pointer in 20 minutes) started the second half in place of Zach Edey, and he may have the most to gain regarding playing time if Clarke remains sidelined.

Pippen missed Monday’s game against the Kings and was questionable Wednesday with a wrist injury, but ultimately played 31 minutes off the bench with Ja Morant out. Aldama returned from a calf injury that had kept him out since March 7 and played 27 minutes off the bench Wednesday against the Trail Blazers. The 24-year-old power forward was effective with 16 points on 10 shots. He certainly benefited from the absence of Ja Morant, who has commanded tremendous usage when available recently. Aldama is a deep league option due to his spot in the Grizzlies pecking order and the volume of players they include in the rotation, but he offers a legitimate ceiling.

Mitchell shot 5-of-10 from the field after halftime, nearly pulling the Cavaliers across the finish line in Sacramento. While his performance did not result in a Cleveland victory, fantasy managers certainly benefitted from having Mitchell in their lineups. Mobley dropped an excellent stat line on Wednesday, recording his third double-double with at least 30 points this season. He has scored 20 or more six times since the All-Star break, an expected output given the ability of Cleveland’s top four offensive options. The lone concern for fantasy managers as the playoffs approach their conclusion is Mobley’s availability, as the Cavaliers have given their stars an occasional night off to prepare for the postseason.

The Cavaliers played Wednesday’s game without Darius Garland, who sat out for rest reasons. Wade was tabbed to fill the void in the starting lineup, and he provided solid value in that role. However, he only played 23 minutes, with Ty Jerome coming off the bench to play 26. He recorded 14 points, one rebound, six assists and one steal and has been more valuable than Wade in fantasy basketball this season. With Garland likely back on Friday against the Suns, Wade’s fantasy value will take a significant hit.

Mobley was back on the court after a one-game absence. While he shot the ball well from the field, the overall stat line was a bit meager compared to what Mobley has done throughout the season. His return pushed De’Andre Hunter to the bench, but the lineup change did not negatively impact the versatile wing. In 20 minutes, Hunter tallied 17 points, one rebound and three three-pointers. With Cleveland visiting the Kings on Wednesday, fantasy managers must watch for the initial injury report. Given the team’s lead atop the East, some players may be given a “load management” night.

Mitchell struggled with his shot on Tuesday, going 5-of-18 from the field. The good news for fantasy managers is that he provided value in the rebound and assist categories. Since the All-Star break, Mitchell is ranked just outside the top 100 in eight-cat formats. The field-goal percentage has been the issue, with the Cavaliers star shooting 40.8 percent. Though he didn’t get much help from his teammates, this was an excellent offensive performance from Bane. He set a new season-high for scoring, and it came after four consecutive games with less than 25 points. Bane scored over a third of the Grizzlies’ points, which wasn’t enough to get the job done against a balanced attack from Sacramento. However, he was able to step up with Ja Morant sidelined with a hamstring injury. If Morant remains out in Portland on Wednesday, Bane could be in for another big night.

With Ja Morant sidelined, Kennard took on the role of facilitator for Memphis. This was his second-straight start, but it wasn’t a productive one outside of the assist boost. This was Kennard’s fifth game this season with at least eight dimes, but he wasn’t able to reach his season-high of 11. Kennard has upside as long as he is starting, but the production hasn’t been there consistently for him. He is known for his deep-range shooting, so while the assist numbers are fun, Kennard not hitting a triple is disappointing.

With Evan Mobley, Allen’s running mate in the backcourt, sidelined with a foot injury, Allen was able to step up and deliver a strong double-double. This was Allen’s third 20-point double-double in Cleveland’s last seven games. The main limitation for him in fantasy basketball has been a bunch of lopsided scores. Cavs fans won’t be upset by that at all, but fantasy managers have had to deal with limited production at times. Though they didn’t get the win, that wasn’t the case on Sunday. When the Grizzlies are without Ja Morant, Bane’s full game tends to be unlocked.
