Queta is a late addition to the injury report, so fantasy managers should have a backup plan in place. Luka Garza could replace Queta in the starting lineup, but at the very least, Garza should see a notable bump in playing time if Queta is out.

Adebayo has been awesome on offense recently, outside of the game against the Warriors last Saturday. Over his last six games, he has scored at least 20 points in five of those and is averaging 23.7 points, 8.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.2 steals and three triples per game. He set a new season high for scoring in this one and will look to stay hot against Utah on Saturday.

Jakučionis got the starting nod with Davion Mitchell (shoulder) sidelined. That wasn’t surprising since he recently started in place of Mitchell when he was out. What was both surprising and frustrating was that he only played 11 minutes and was unproductive during his time on the floor. If Mitchell remains out against the Jazz on Saturday, it likely won’t be worth streaming Jakučionis.

Including Thursday’s game against the Trail Blazers, Ware has missed Miami’s last two games with a strained left hamstring. With the 7-footer returning to Miami to undergo further treatment, the expectation is that he will miss at least the remainder of the road trip, which concludes with a Saturday/Sunday back-to-back against the Jazz and Suns. In addition to providing the three-point production that deep-league managers expect, Hauser finished with solid numbers in the rebound and assist categories. Over the past two weeks, he has been a top-50 player in eight- and nine-cat formats. This current run may not last for the rest of the season, but Hauser is worth picking up if he’s sitting on the waiver wire. Rostered in 16 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Hauser won’t be too hard to find.

Ware did not play in Tuesday’s win over the Kings, with his minutes being distributed among multiple players. Powell’s ceiling is slightly raised with Tyler Herro (ribs) out of the lineup. The 32-year-old shooting guard continues to be the clear focal point of the offense with Herro sidelined. Since being moved out of the starting lineup, Ware played 17 minutes or less in five consecutive games before Monday. He logged 18 against the Warriors, but the offensive production was solid. Unfortunately for the Heat, Ware’s performance wasn’t enough to compensate for Bam Adebayo (four points, 12 rebounds and three assists) shooting 1-of-13 from the field. After scoring 18 points in the first half of Monday’s game, Wiggins appeared to be on course for a big night. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. Simons went full supernova in this one, spearheading Boston’s late-game rally as they erased a double-digit deficit to take the lead with just over five minutes left in regulation, scoring 18 of his 39 points in the fourth quarter alone. The 26-year-old scoring machine slashed to the rim with greater frequency than usual and knocked down 7-of-16 attempts from three-point range. He’s shown flashes of gargantuan scoring upside, but the simply volume hasn’t been there on a consistent enough basis in a limited role off the bench to make a significant fantasy impact.
