No surprise here as Adebayo has missed the last five games with a toe injury. The fact that he traveled with the team on a recent road trip and practiced with them on Sunday is encouraging, though it’s still unclear when he might be ready to return to the court. Mobley had a rough performance against Toronto on Thursday, but he was able to bounce back in a big way to help Cleveland get back on track. Mobley’s shooting percentage is down this year, which can be attributed to him taking more shots from beyond the arc. However, he’s averaging career-highs in points, assists, steals, blocks and three-pointers. Mobley is revolutionizing his game, which may cost him some value in a few categories, but it’s making him a dynamic star for the Cavaliers.

The Cavs trailed by eight entering the fourth quarter of this game, but Mitchell’s 14 fourth-quarter points helped them to turn this game around. Mitchell has been on a scoring tear to start this year and is currently averaging 30.4 points and 4.0 three-pointers per game, which would both be the best marks of his career. Cleveland has four games next week, all at home. Mitchell will look to stay hot against the Bucks on Monday.

Merrill started for the fourth straight game, and he was once again a reliable source of three-pointers. Darius Garland (toe) and Jaylon Tyson (concussion) both remained out, so Merrill was able to log 27 minutes. He doesn’t contribute much across the box score, but the three-pointers have been there consistently; he’s averaging 3.5 triples per game this year and has only hit fewer than two in a game one time.

Tyson was injured during Monday’s overtime loss to the Heat and has missed the last three games, including Saturday’s matchup with the Grizzlies. As for when he could potentially be back, there’s no timeline for the second-year wing. Tyson remains in the first stage of the return process as he works his way through concussion protocols. Nae’Qwan Tomlin has entered the rotation recently, and he’s worth tracking, but fantasy managers should not feel obligated to pick him up.

Powell only has two games with at least 30 points this season, but both have come in his last three games. The 32-year-old shooting guard was basically unstoppable, scoring 38 points on 22 shots and going 8-of-15 from behind the three-point line. Powell has proven in recent years that he’s one of the best scorers in the league and will continue to be one of the Heat’s top players.

Merrill started a second straight game with Darius Garland (toe) sidelined, and this one was more productive than the first one. He started the year off as a starter and was effective, hitting 18 three-pointers over the first four games. He’s cooled off since returning from a hip injury, but the opportunity is still a good one for him. He should be a reliable source of triples as long as Garland is sidelined.

Tomlin hasn’t been part of the rotation this season in Cleveland, but after logging 18 minutes in their last game, he played 22 minutes in this one and turned in a strong line. It was his best game of the season, but it wasn’t a career-high; he had 24 points in game 82 last year. This was a fun performance for Tomlin, but it doesn’t mean he should be considered anything more than a dynasty stash.

Mitchell sat out the first leg of this back-to-back, but the added rest didn’t help his efficiency. He had a rough shooting night and set a new season-high for turnovers. Mitchell redeemed his night by getting to the free throw line early and often, which is where he accounted for nearly half his points. Still, it’s difficult to be overly critical of a 30-point performance. He’ll look to close out the week on a high note against the Grizzlies on Saturday.

One game after securing a game-winning dunk, Wiggins logged another efficient scoring performance in the rematch against the Cavaliers. He had similar shooting efficiency and production from the three-point line in both games, but lacked the free-throw volume this time around. Ware secured his second straight double-double on Wednesday against Miami. He didn’t reach 20 rebounds, as he did on Monday, but was still productive on both the offensive and defensive glass. On the heels of a 33-point performance in the overtime win over the Cavaliers on Monday, Powell logged another strong scoring performance in Wednesday’s rematch. Hunter extended his streak of 20-point games to three on Wednesday, needing just 28 minutes to accomplish such. The three-point shot, once again, failed him, but his near-perfection from inside the arc helped him finish as one of two Cavaliers to cross the 20-point mark. Ball had a nice offensive outing against the Heat. He was productive and efficient from beyond the arc, and made sure to get his teammates involved by utilizing his facilitating skills — the three-point shooting led to a season-high in points, and he tied a season-high in assists. With three of Cleveland’s regular starters out, Allen logged his most impressive performance of the season against the Heat. He reached the 30-point mark for the first time and tallied double-digit made field goals for the second time. Allen had entered Wednesday’s contest shooting a career-worst 58.6 percent from the field, but his efficient 60.0 percent shooting on high volume should add a nice boost to his season-long numbers. Nine of Mobley’s 11 rebounds were of the offensive variety, and he also dished out five assists. Monday’s overtime defeat was the Cavaliers forward’s first this season with at least 20 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. Mobley, who had a Yahoo! ADP of 19, has not performed to that level, but he is a top-50 player in eight- and nine-cat formats. Jarrett Allen (14/7/2/0/1) only played 21 minutes on Monday, and he’s taken a back seat to Mobley in the frontcourt. Mobley is more than capable of meeting the preseason expectations; fantasy managers need to stay patient.

One game removed from tallying a season-high 29 points, Hunter dropped in 23 more in Monday’s overtime defeat. Rostered in 31 percent of Yahoo! leagues, he’s ranked just outside the top-100 in eight- and nine-cat formats. Hunter hasn’t been the best option in standard category leagues, but the current circumstances in Cleveland make him worth a look. Mitchell struggled with his three-point shot on Monday, shooting 3-of-16. However, his third triple was an improbable shot with four-tenths of a second remaining in overtime that appeared destined to force a second extra session. Andrew Wiggins had other ideas, taking advantage of a botched switch to dunk home the winner as time expired. Of greater importance to Mitchell and the Cavaliers is that Darius Garland left Monday’s game in the third quarter after injuring the left big toe, which was operated on during the spring. If he has to miss time, Mitchell will return to the point, with Sam Merrill (12/2/2 with four three-pointers) rejoining the starting lineup. Cleveland plays Miami again on Wednesday.

Jaquez was one of two Heat players to establish a new career-high in rebounds, with Kel’el Ware being the other. Challenging to assess during draft season, Jaquez has provided excellent fantasy value despite coming off the bench. Rostered in 43 percent of Yahoo! leagues, he’s providing fifth-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats. It’s fair to question what Jaquez can do once the Heat get Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo back, but that shouldn’t be a concern at this moment. The only negative is that Miami plays only twice more in Week 4 and will be finished with their week on Friday.

Ware’s performance and effort level against the Cavaliers is what the Heat and fantasy managers want to see consistently. The second-year center’s 19 rebounds were a career-high, and one more than the Cleveland tandem of Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen combined to grab. Based on his Yahoo! ADP of 11o, Wiggins was expected to provide late-round value in 12-team leagues this season. He’s been better than that so far, sitting within the top-75 in nine-cat formats. He made the game’s biggest play in Monday’s overtime thriller, slamming home an alley-oop pass from Nikola Jović as time expired to give Miami the win.
