However, fantasy managers will be pleased with the Heat center’s final stat line, as he extended his double-double streak to three games. Since the All-Star break, Adebayo has provided top-25 value in eight- and nine-cat formats, which is well ahead of his production for the season. Between the injuries and Jimmy Butler no longer being a team member, the Heat need this version of Adebayo to show up nightly.

Unfortunately, the rookie wing did not provide much value, ultimately ceding playing time to reserves Duncan Robinson (15/4/1/2 with four three-pointers) and Haywood Highsmith (9/5/4/1 with one three-pointer). While worthy of a look in deep leagues due to the spot start, Larsson didn’t do enough to merit being added ahead of Saturday’s game against the Bulls.

Herro returned to the Heat lineup after sitting out Wednesday’s loss to the Cavaliers with an illness, playing 39 minutes and recording a complete stat line. Since the All-Star break, the Heat guard has been a top-30 player in eight- and nine-cat formats. While Friday’s performance wasn’t the cleanest regarding Herro’s percentage from the field, Saturday’s matchup with the Bulls sets up to be a good one for him.

With Tyrese Haliburton sidelined, Walker slid into the starting lineup for the second time this season and provided Indiana a taller starting lineup. It was also a great opportunity for him as a former top ten pick to make dynasty managers feel comfortable with his development. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to take advantage of the situation. Walker has had some productive games this season, but his other start, which came in November, was also disappointing. He’s only 21 years old, but he needs to show some sort of progression at some point for dynasty managers to continue to value him highly.

Nembhard took over primary playmaking duties for Indiana with Tyrese Haliburton (hip) sidelined, which allowed him to record a double-double for the first time this season. It wasn’t a new season-high for assists, since he had nine points and 11 assists in a game against the Heat last week. It was a productive night for him, and if Haliburton misses time past this game, Nembhard should continue to rack up the assists. However, this was only Haliburton’s second absence of the season, and there is no indication that this is an injury that will keep him out for multiple games at this point.

Siakam stepped up his scoring with Tyrese Haliburton sidelined and had a big night. It ended up being his second game with at least 35 points over Indiana’s last four games, and he shot at least 60 percent from the floor in each. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to replicate his eight three-pointers from that night. Siakam continues to be a fantasy stud for the Pacers, and it was encouraging to see him step up with Haliburton out of the lineup. He’ll look to stay hot in a rematch in Atlanta on Saturday.

Miami’s big man took the lead for a shorthanded Heat team, delivering another strong performance. He averaged 20.8 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists across six previous games since returning from the All-Star break, and Monday’s final line was more of the same. Fantasy managers should expect big games like this for the foreseeable future.
