While Burks has been a consistent member of the Heat rotation, Jovic has not appeared in a game since fracturing his hand just after the All-Star. Whether or not Nikola will be available for Miami’s play-in tournament matchup with the Bulls is unknown, but the Heat have no such concerns with Burks. The Heat are locked into the 10-seed regardless of Sunday’s result, so players like Keshad Johnson and Josh Christopher should play plenty.

Miami already knows its seed and opponent for next week’s play-in tournament, so there isn’t anything at stake for Sunday’s regular-season finale. Wiggins and Larsson will rest up for next week’s matchup with the Bulls, as will multiple Heat rotation players. Terry Rozier and Jaime Jaquez Jr. are absent from the injury report, so they should log extended minutes on Sunday.

The Heat are locked into the 10-seed in the East, regardless of Sunday’s outcome. Herro and Adebayo will sit out the regular season finale to avoid a little wear-and-tear ahead of their play-in tournament matchup with Chicago. While Kel’el Ware is available, his playing time could be limited since there isn’t anything on the line. Keshad Johnson and Josh Christopher are two players who are likely to log extended minutes after not being in the rotation for most of the season.

Adebayo’s line would’ve been reasonable had he played at least 35 minutes Friday against the Pelicans, but it was all the more impressive because he only played 22 minutes as the Heat won by 49. The 27-year-old center still managed a double-double and hit four three-pointers. While he got off to a slow start this season, Adebayo has finished the year strong for fantasy managers that stuck with the Heat big man.

Ware played just 26 minutes as the Heat blew out the Pelicans by 49 points. The 20-year-old center still managed to put up a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Herro had 22 points on just 10 shots in 22 minutes against the Pelicans Friday. The 25-year-old point guard was +46 as the Heat won by 49 points. Porter Jr. continues to be a revelation in the season’s final two weeks. The 24-year-old point guard came off the bench Friday, but played 31 minutes, more than every starter not named Giannis Antetokounmpo. While Porter Jr. has certainly benefited from the absence of Damian Lillard, he’s also been a top-50 fantasy player over the last two weeks. The good news for Miami is that Herro is back after missing Saturday’s loss to the Bucks due to an injury. His return means Duncan Robinson heads to the bench, where his fantasy value takes a noticeable hit. However, the Heat will be without Ban Adebayo, so Highsmith moves into the starting five. As with Gary Trent Jr., the absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo (shoulder) meant Porter would move into the starting lineup on Sunday. He had an excellent night in New Orleans, shooting just below 50 percent from the field while not committing a turnover. Mitchell was one of two Heat players to notch a season-high point total on Saturday, with Alec Burks being the other. “Off Night” has provided sixth-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats over the past two weeks, a welcome turn of events for a player who has not been much of a fantasy asset during his NBA career.
