Robinson made his season debut on Friday, playing 20 minutes in the Knicks’ loss to the Bulls. Sunday’s game is the first of two in as many nights for the Knicks, who host the Wizards on Monday. With that being the case, fantasy managers can safely assume that Robinson will miss one of the Knicks’ next two games.

While the season is still extremely young, Bridges continues to show signs of being a fantasy steal. He’s scored 20 points or more in three straight games and has provided excellent production across all categories. Bridges is providing first-round value in nine-cat formats, outperforming his Yahoo! Robinson saw his first action of the season on Friday. While Knicks head coach Mike Brown said before the game that the 7-footer would not be restricted, he only played 20 minutes. The good news for fantasy managers needing rebounding production is that Robinson doesn’t need much time to make a dent in that category, as evidenced by his 11 boards against the Bulls. He won’t provide much in most of the other fantasy categories, making Robinson more of a specialist than someone you can rely on for solid overall production.

After scoring 24 points in the Knicks’ season-opening win over the Cavaliers, Anunoby fell into a three-game slump, averaging 11.0 points on 29.4 percent shooting. One of the few positives from Friday’s disappointing loss was OG breaking that slump, shooting 75 percent from the field and 5-of-7 from beyond the arc. However, the poor shooting in the three games prior did minimal damage to Anunoby’s fantasy value, as he’s still ranked within the top-40 in nine-cat formats.

Brunson’s streak of 30-point games ended at three, as he fell one point shy of the threshold on Friday. While the free-throw percentage was disappointing, many fantasy managers will take the overall stat line from the Knicks captain. Through five games, Brunson is providing third-round value in nine-cat formats on solid percentages, so fantasy managers don’t have much to worry about. He’ll look to help the Knicks end their three-game skid when they host the Bulls on Sunday.

Robinson, who was projected to be a starter before the season began, is ready to make his 2025-26 debut and is expected to start. Rostered in three percent of Yahoo! leagues, Fontecchio has been a consistently productive member of the Heat bench. He’s hit double figures in all five games, which includes a season-best 18-point night against the Spurs on Thursday. Averaging 3.2 three-pointers per game, Fontecchio is ranked just inside the top-75 in nine-cat formats. Nikola Jović was available despite a hip injury but only played 10 minutes. Through the season’s first four games, Wiggins could not fully take advantage of Tyler Herro’s absence from the Heat lineup. While he was shooting 50 percent from the field, that was on a career-low 11 attempts per game. On Thursday, Wiggins took a season-high 18 shots and made over half his attempts. Of course, Miami has also been without Norman Powell for the last two games, and Wiggins has totaled 33 shot attempts. His opportunities will likely decrease once Powell and Herro return, but the Heat need Wiggins to be consistently aggressive until that time comes.

Adebayo finished Thursday’s defeat with his best line of the season, recording his first 30-point double-double. As is the case with many bigs who can shoot, he spent a lot of time on the perimeter due to the presence of Victor Wembanyama. Adebayo’s 13 three-point attempts were a career-high, but he’s attempted at least five in all five of Miami’s games thus far. With Miles McBride (personal) unavailable, Shamet moved into the starting lineup on Tuesday. He made good use of his opportunity, shooting 4-of-9 from beyond the arc and joining Jalen Brunson and Mikal Bridges in double figures. Shamet totaled 12 points and 44 minutes in New York’s first three games, making dismissing Tuesday as an outlier easy. However, if McBride can’t rejoin the team for Friday’s game against the Bulls in Chicago, that could be another matchup in which Mike Brown decides to start Shamet rather than Ariel Hukporti (three rebounds, one assist and one steal in 10 minutes).

Bridges has scored 20 points or more in consecutive games and seems more comfortable with Mike Brown’s offensive system than he did playing for Tom Thibodeau last season. Bridges finished Tuesday’s win with his first double-double of the season and matched his season-high in assists. While he may not sustain the top-15 value he’s currently providing, Bridges is well-positioned to bounce back after an uneven 2024-25.

Adebayo finished Tuesday’s victory with a season-high point total, and he’s scored 19 points or more in three straight games. While there were no defensive stats in his most recent stat line, Charlotte’s porous defense allowed Bam to compensate for that on the offensive end. And the lack of defensive stats has weighed down his fantasy value through the season’s first week. Counting Tuesday, Adebayo has totaled two steals and no blocked shots. However, fantasy managers should not be too concerned given his track record.

In fact, Larsson nearly doubled his point total after scoring nine points in Miami’s first three games. While Wiggins is shooting 50 percent from the field thus far, his fantasy value has languished due to a low free-throw percentage and limited production outside of points and rebounds. Those weren’t issues on Tuesday, as he recorded his first 20-point game of the season along with four defensive contributions. On a night when Karl-Anthony Towns (8/12/1/2/1) and OG Anunoby (9/6/4/1/1 with one three-pointer) combined for 17 points on 5-of-23 shooting, Brunson did what he could to carry the Knicks offensively. He’s scored 31 points or more in three straight games, shooting 50 percent or better in each. There was an injury scare during the fourth quarter, as Brunson slipped and appeared to tweak his groin on two separate occasions. And the three-point attempts have increased significantly when compared to last season. Adebayo has attempted 18 three-pointers thus far, with the average of six per game being more than double his 2024-25 mark (2.8). Powell was fantastic on Sunday. With Tyler Herro (ankle) out, the Heat have relied on Powell more than they may have anticipated after acquiring him from the Clippers during the offseason.
