The Wizards will be light on options for Sunday’s season finale, especially on the perimeter. The absence of Coulibaly and Johnson will mean more opportunities for Will Riley and Leaky Black. As for Vukčević, his continued absence does not change much in the frontcourt, with the Wizards continuing to rely on Julian Reese.

In addition to his back injury, Gill took a shot to the head during Friday’s loss to the Heat. While the veteran forward/center was not officially ruled out at the time, he’s dealing with a headache, so Gill is on the injury report. Julian Reese has been productive recently and is worth rostering in active fantasy leagues, regardless of Gill’s availability.

Powell did not play in Friday’s win over the Wizards, which factored into rookie Keshad Johnson playing 30 minutes off the bench. If Powell can play in Sunday’s regular-season finale, and the Heat still have a chance of moving into the No. 9 seed, Johnson’s playing time will decrease.

Herro and Mitchell are available for Sunday’s regular-season finale after not playing in Friday’s win over the Wizards. Their returns will push Simone Fontecchio and Kasparas Jakučionis to the bench, with the former offering a higher ceiling when used in a reserve role. A win over the Hawks, combined with a Hornets loss to the Knicks, would move Miami into the No. 9 seed. They would host the 9 vs. 10 game on Wednesday night.

Riley has scored in double figures in 10 of his last 11 appearances, including Friday’s defeat. With multiple Wizards wings sidelined due to injury, the rookie has been allowed to do more offensively, whether he’s coming off the bench or starting. For fantasy managers in active leagues, Riley is worth a look for the Wizards’ season finale on Sunday against the Cavaliers.

Back in the lineup after missing Thursday’s loss to the Bulls, Coulibaly recorded his first stat line this season with at least 25 points, five rebounds and five assists. Given the Wizards’ many young wings and the fact that they’ll likely hold onto their top-8 protected first-round pick, Coulibaly will face significant competition for rotation minutes when training camp opens next fall. Nights like Friday can only strengthen his case for a starting spot.

A double-digit scorer in six consecutive games, Carrington matched his season-high on Friday with 30 points. The second-year guard made six of his seven three-point attempts against the Heat while finishing a blocked shot shy of a complete stat line. With a healthy Trae Young in the mix, Carrington is going to have a reserve role next season. That said, a good finish to the season would help solidify his place in the rotation.

Jaquez is one of the betting favorites for NBA Sixth Man of the Year, and with good reason. More often than not, the third-year forward provides reliable production off the bench. His stat line against the Wizards did not include any defensive stats, but Jaquez shot over 70 percent from the field and finished two assists shy of a double-double. The Heat end their regular season with a game against the Hawks on Sunday.

Despite Tyler Herro, Norman Powell and Davion Mitchell being out, Larsson came off the bench on Friday. The change in role did not negatively impact his ability to provide value, with the second-year wing’s 24 points being the most in a game for him since March 12, when he scored 28 against the Bucks. Miami will have something to play for on Sunday, as it can jump Charlotte for ninth with a win over the Hawks and a Hornets loss to the Knicks.

Inserted into the Heat starting lineup with Tyler Herro sidelined, Fontecchio had one of his best offensive showings of the season. The 6-foot-7 forward made six of his seven three-point attempts, scoring a season-high 24 points. If Herro remains out for Sunday’s game against the Hawks, Fontecchio may get another start. At a minimum, he likely got himself back onto Erik Spoelstra’s radar after being a DNP-CD the prior two games.

Adebayo finished Friday’s blowout victory two assists shy of a triple-double, recording a complete line in 38 minutes. Mitchell has reached double figures in assists on nine occasions this season, with Thursday’s 11 being the most in a game for him since a New Year’s Day win over the Pistons. The three-point shooting remains a work in progress, but Mitchell has made strides as a point guard this season.

While Herro finished Thursday’s defeat with a solid field-goal percentage, the Heat need more production from him than what they received in their two games in Toronto. He totaled 29 points and four three-pointers in the two defeats, which isn’t going to cut it when considering the Heat roster. Herro’s name was one mentioned in the Giannis Antetokounmpo trade rumors in the winter, and it’s fair to wonder if Miami’s front office will intensify its pursuit of the “Greek Freak” this offseason. And with the Heat once again in the Play-In Tournament, significant changes may be needed.

After a poor showing in Tuesday’s loss to the Raptors, Adebayo rebounded nicely on Thursday. After shooting 1-of-7 from deep the last time out, the Heat captain was 2-of-4 on Thursday, choosing to do more of his work around the basket. Adebayo has certainly improved as a perimeter shooter, but there are times when he spends too much time away from the basket, which often bails out the defense. He’ll remain a valuable option for fantasy managers in 2026-27, but the lingering question is whether the Heat will make major roster changes.

A common practice of lottery-bound teams at this stage of the season is to play their two-way and 10-day contract guys heavy minutes. Black played 41 minutes on Thursday, and while the stat line wasn’t exactly robust, he finished one rebound shy of a double-double. While he struggled with his shot on Thursday, going 1-of-9 from three, Riley’s overall stat line would be valuable in category leagues. The rookie wing recorded six “stocks” and offered solid value in rebounds and assists. Kyshawn George had a similar finish to last season, which boosted his ADP going into drafts last fall. The Wizards’ wing rotation is a bit more crowded going into this offseason, so Riley may not be able to do the same, but there’s a lot to like about the 20-year-old wing.

Herro shot the ball well and provided solid value in rebounds and assists, but the impact was muted in Miami’s 121-95 defeat.
