With Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler both sidelined, Kuminga moved up in the offensive pecking order on Wednesday. While he didn’t record any defensive stats, the offensive stats were certainly valuable to those who have him rostered. Kuminga is still ranked outside the top-100 in nine-cat formats, but he’s been more consistent than he was a season ago.

Making his first career start, Richard made the most of his opportunity. One night removed from picking up a DNP-CD in a win over the Suns, the second-round pick dropped a highly efficient 30 points while providing value in rebounds, assists and three-pointers. Richard should not be rostered in fantasy leagues, especially if Stephen Curry is back for Friday’s game against the Nuggets. However, his name should be filed away for the next time the Warriors decide to hold out a few of their vets.

While he did provide decent value in the rebound and steals categories, Horford had a brutal night shooting the basketball. The veteran center missed all seven of his three-point attempts and was 0-of-8 overall. Horford did play 27 minutes, the first time he’s surpassed 20 this season. It’s clear that Horford and the Warriors are playing the “long game” to ensure he’s healthy for the stretch run. However, this approach doesn’t do fantasy managers any favors.

Moody dropped a season-high point total on Wednesday, helping pick up the slack with Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green all sidelined. Moody has scored 20 points or more in two straight games for the first time since January 7-10, 2024. Rostered in six percent of Yahoo! leagues, he is ranked just outside the top-75 in nine-cat formats. Curry has been dealing with a cold recently, but still managed to play 34 minutes on Tuesday. He’s not going to play tomorrow,” Kerr stated. With Curry unavailable, Brandin Podziemski could potentially move into the starting lineup. Moody’s opportunities increased during Tuesday’s game, as Jimmy Butler could not go during the second half. Credit Moody for taking advantage, scoring a season-high 24 points on 70 percent shooting. His final stat line only lacked a blocked shot, and he may have streaming value for Wednesday’s game in Sacramento. Due to a need to match up with Suns center Mark Williams, the Warriors started Post on Tuesday. The second-year center played well, shooting well over 50 percent from the field overall and 4-of-6 from beyond the arc. Add in the rebounds and blocks; this was a good night to stream Post in deep leagues. Brandin Podziemski, bumped to the bench in favor of Post, finished with 13 points (5-of-11 FGs), two rebounds, four assists, one steal and one three-pointer. With Jimmy Butler (back) being a shell of himself before exiting Tuesday’s game at the half, Curry had to shoulder even more of the offensive workload. He surpassed 20 field-goal attempts for the fourth time this season and is 17-of-46 over his last two games. Curry recorded a complete stat line, but the production was limited outside of points and three-pointers. Unfortunately for the Warriors, they could not put away Tuesday’s game until late, with Curry playing 34 minutes. They visit the Kings on Wednesday, so taking care of the Suns quickly would have been beneficial to get Curry and Draymond Green (2/6/8/1/1) additional rest. And with Curry revealing after the win that he’s been dealing with a cold, he should be considered questionable for Wednesday.

Antetokounmpo took all 14 of his shots inside the arc, scoring 15 of his team-high 22 points in the first half. The Bucks sputtered offensively on the second night of a back-to-back, shooting just 31 percent (6-of-19) from three in the opening half and falling behind by 19 at the break. They trailed by 25 entering the fourth, which allowed Giannis to rest the entire final period. After scoring 22 points off the bench in the Bucks’ last game, Kuzma was able to have another decent performance against Indiana. The discouraging part is that he only played 16 minutes. Kuzma struggled during the second half of last season after being sent to the Bucks, though he was part of the starting lineup. Now, he’s come off the bench in almost every game this season. It was another spectacular night for Antetokounmpo despite another rough night from the free throw line, and it ended with a contested fadeaway at the buzzer. Giannis will continue to stuff the stat sheet every night for Milwaukee; he has scored at least 30 points in five of his six appearances and has a double-double in all but one game this season. Having recorded career-high point totals in his last two games, Rollins was bound to cool down eventually. However, he still shot over 50 percent from the field on Saturday and recorded eight assists, matching his season high. Rollins is a virtual lock to remain in the starting lineup as long as Kevin Porter Jr. (knee) is out, and the job may be his even after KPJ returns. He’s played that well, and Porter will be out for at least another four weeks.

Even with Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) back in the Bucks’ lineup, Portis’ playing time increased on Saturday, playing 23 minutes after logging 16 in Thursday’s win over the Warriors. The reason for the increase in playing time was Myles Turner (9/3/0/2 with three three-pointers) getting into early foul trouble, which limited him to 24 minutes. While a fixture in the Bucks’ rotation, Portis’ opportunities are dictated primarily by Turner’s production, which limits his fantasy ceiling.

While Kuzma is shooting 55 percent from the field this season, his limited rebounding and defensive production lower his fantasy ceiling considerably. Giannis had a chance to send Saturday’s game into overtime after rebounding a free throw intentionally missed by teammate AJ Green. Unfortunately for the Bucks star, he was stripped of the ball by Zach LaVine just before time expired, ending Milwaukee’s four-game win streak. However, despite a sore knee, Antetokounmpo finished two assists shy of a triple-double and recorded a complete stat line. Kuzma was tabbed to replace Giannis Antetokounmpo in the Bucks’ starting lineup on Thursday, and he provided solid value in rebounds and assists. Unfortunately, Kuzma didn’t score much, but that had more to do with Ryan Rollins’ explosion than the forward struggling. Already without Kevin Porter Jr., the Bucks were forced to play Thursday’s game without Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee). Rollins understood the assignment and had the best night of his NBA career. The 2022 second-round pick, who began his NBA career with the Warriors, notched his first 30-point game and did so efficiently. Giannis isn’t the first elite player to change his shoes after a slow start, and he won’t be the last. Gianns got downhill at will, and his final stat line included seven assists, a number he’s met or exceeded in three straight games.
