Antetokounmpo did his part from a scoring standpoint on the second night of a back-to-back for Milwaukee, but he got little help from his supporting cast in the early stages of this one as they ultimately trailed by 29 points at halftime. He knocked down six of eight shot attempts in the second half to reach the 30-point plateau for the ninth time in 12 games this season. He’s slightly underperformed this season relative to fantasy managers expectations, averaging 32.6 points, 11.3 rebounds, 7.1 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.3 blocks. The Bucks are back in action on Monday when they face the Cavaliers before closing out a three-game week with home matchups against the 76ers and Pistons.

Yikes. Kuzma turned in a complete clunker against his former team following an impressive 29-point, 10-rebound effort during Friday’s win over the Hornets where he made his first start since October 30. The 30-year-old forward, who spent the first four seasons of his career with the Lakers, missed all six of his shots from the floor with five of those coming from three-point range. He’ll attempt to turn things around when the Bucks get back in action on Monday against the Cavaliers.

Initially announced to have suffered a hip injury during Friday’s win over the Trail Blazers, Eason has been diagnosed with a strained oblique. While Jeff Green could move into the rotation, it’s just as likely that Josh Okogie and Reed Sheppard will absorb some of the minutes that would have gone to Eason. Jae’Sean Tate is another possibility, but he has not recorded double-digit minutes in any of his seven appearances this season.

Antetokounmpo did not play in Wednesday’s loss to Charlotte, but he was back in the lineup two days later. His probable tag ahead of the second game of a back-to-back bodes well for Giannis’ availability, and fantasy managers must ensure he’s in their active lineups. With Kyle Kuzma starting on Friday, Bobby Portis may be the next man up if Giannis can’t play.

Prince underwent the procedure on Thursday in Los Angeles, and the Bucks announced that updates on his recovery will be provided when deemed necessary. While Prince was shooting nearly 43 percent from three on 3.5 attempts per game at the time of his injury, his minutes had decreased from 27.1 in 2024-25 to 21.1 this season. Kyle Kuzma, who has started Milwaukee’s last two games, has a higher ceiling with Prince unavailable but likely needs to remain a starter to be worth the risk in standard leagues.

Şengün has been a force all season, but this was arguably his best performance of the year. He fell one assist of a triple-double, but it was the defensive production that really made this an elite performance for him. His assists and steals matched his season-high, while the blocks were the most he’s had in a game this year. On top of that, he didn’t turn the ball over once. This was an incredible outing for Şengün, and he’ll look to wrap the week up on a high note against the Magic on Sunday.

It’s early, but Smith has started this season out well and is currently posting career-highs in points, three-pointers and field goal percentage. This was his second 20-point game of the season, and he matched his season-high for three-pointers. Kuzma remained in the starting lineup while Giannis Antetokounmpo returned from a knee injury. While it’s unclear if Kuzma will remain in the starting lineup going forward, it certainly worked against the Hornets on Friday. Kuzma’s 29 points were the most he’s had this season and the second time he’s had at least 26 points in his last three games. Fantasy managers may want to ride the hot hand with Kuzma here. The Bucks have a date with the Lakers on Saturday, and that’s a revenge game for Kuzma.

When Durant has had his shot going this year, he has been unstoppable. This was his fourth 30-point performance of the season, and he has shot at least 50 percent from the floor in each of those. While the usual suspects played well for the Rockets on Wednesday, the team also received excellent production from its bench. Eason recorded his second 20-point game of the season and finished one three-pointer shy of his previous high. He’s ranked just outside the top-100 in eight- and nine-cat formats, with decreases in rebounds and steals production lowering Eason’s value. He did not record any defensive stats on Wednesday, the only thing that fantasy managers could complain about when assessing Eason’s performance.

Şengün has recorded six double-doubles this season, including Wednesday’s effort against the Wizards. The final stat line was modest, but Şengün has dished out at least six assists in every game he’s played. He’s providing third-round value in eight-cat formats, not too far removed from his Yahoo! As expected, Kyle Kuzma received the starting nod with Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) unavailable. However, Portis provided greater value despite coming off the bench. A double-digit scorer in three straight, the 14 points are the most in a game for Portis since he dropped a season-high 16 on November 1 against the Kings. The Bucks did not have Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) on the floor for Wednesday’s game, which increased Turner’s importance on offense. He shot the ball well, making half of his 14 attempts while also recording two steals and two blocks on defense. However, he’s never been the strongest rebounder, so a night like Wednesday is unsurprising.

Rollins continues to flourish for the Bucks, finishing Wednesday’s defeat with his third 20-point game of the season. With no Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) on the floor, the Bucks’ point guard attempted 15 shots, the most in a game for Rollins since October 30. Even better for fantasy managers is that the increased shot usage did not negatively impact Rollins’ efficiency, as he shot 66.7 percent from the field and committed just two turnovers. Due to a lingering case of left knee patellar tendinopathy, Antetokounmpo is back on the Bucks’ injury report. Despite shooting just 63.5 percent from the foul line, Antetokounmpo’s field-goal percentage has increased by three points compared to last season. For the first time as a Buck, Turner has recorded a 20-point game. In fact, he entered Friday having surpassed 15 points just once. While he can provide valuable spacing for Giannis Antetokounmpo, that has generally resulted in the “Greek Freak” getting downhill even more and finishing at the basket, rather than a few more catch-and-shoot opportunities for Turner. Sengun had another balanced performance on Friday against the Spurs, which was good enough to nearly collect a triple-double. Such well-rounded stat lines are the new normal for Sengun in his fifth NBA season, having firmly placed himself on the short list of upper-echelon centers.
