There was some surprise regarding the Pacers’ decision to play Zubac and Andrew Nembhard (8/5/7/2) in both games of their back-to-back. And while head coach Rick Carlisle said that they would be under minutes restrictions, the tandem played 29 and 32 minutes, respectively. Zubac had a decent night, recording a complete stat line. Regarding the minutes, the rivalry between the franchises may have been a factor. That’s something to be mindful of next week, as Tuesday’s rematch is the first game of a back-to-back for Indiana.

While his offense has been hit-or-miss, Walker has made strides in terms of his overall production since the All-Star break. He’s been a top-100 player in eight-cat formats since the break, doing enough to merit being rostered in 14-team leagues. As long as he’s healthy, Walker is one of the Pacers players whose minutes should be relatively safe for the rest of the season. The Pacers end Week 20 with a game against the Bucks on Sunday.

Milwaukee closes the week with a back-to-back, making it possible that fantasy managers get one game out of Antetokounmpo instead of two. If he plays the Hawks on Saturday, Giannis likely won’t play the Pacers on Sunday. He sat out the second game of Milwaukee’s most recent back-to-back, a loss to the Magic on March 8.

Following a one-game absence with a back injury, Portis was back playing his typical role off the bench. Though it wasn’t enough for the Bucks to get the win, he has his highest-scoring performance since Feb. 24 and shot at least 50 percent from the floor for a ninth straight game. Portis is a solid reserve that ranks inside the top-100 in nine-category leagues over the past two weeks. However, his limited minutes will continue to cap his upside.

With Kevin Porter Jr. (knee) back in the lineup, Rollins returned to playing a role off the bench. However, he still played 33 minutes to KPJ’s 27 and was far more productive. Rollins has been one of the most improved players in the NBA this season, and as long as he is playing big minutes, he’ll continue to be a strong fantasy asset. However, he may be limited if he continues to come off the bench.

Antetokounmpo has been available for five of the Bucks’ last six games, but this was his best offensive performance. In fact, this was his highest-scoring performance since Jan. 11, which was over two months prior to this game. Giannis hasn’t been quite as productive as he typically is, most notably a lack of production on the glass. He’ll look to build on this scoring performance in Saturday’s game in Atlanta.

Slawson signed a two-way deal with Indiana in February, and this was his second time suiting up for the Pacers. He only played 11 minutes in his debut, but he played 32 minutes in this game and ended up turning in a strong line. The 2023 second-round pick should continue to play a role for Indiana over the rest of the season, but it will likely be too inconsistent for him to be worth rostering, even if he was productive in this one.

Nembhard got off to an insanely hot start to this game, entering halftime with 23 points while only missing one field goal attempt and one free throw. Unfortunately, he entered the game dealing with both a back injury and a neck injury, and he ended up not suiting up in the second half, though there was no official announcement from the team. This was still a productive night for him, but it was cut short by an early exit.

Zubac made his long-awaited debut for Indiana after they acquired him ahead of February’s trade deadline. He was solid in 16 minutes in the first half, though he didn’t suit up in the second half. It was great to see him suit up for his new team, but it is clear that the priority for the Pacers is to still maintain their pick, which is top-four protected. Zubac is still a fantasy star, but he may not get the opportunity to play enough to prove it over the rest of the season.

After playing just four minutes on Sunday, Jones returned to the starting unit for this game. Turner’s 22 points were the most in a game for him since January 27, when he dropped 31 on the 76ers.
