Smith played in the regular season finale after missing the previous game with an ankle injury. He is back on the injury report after scoring a career-high 20 points against the Pistons. However, he didn’t play much during the regular season and certainly wouldn’t have had much of an opportunity in a postseason game.

Charania also reported that this is an incredibly quick recovery for Lillard that was made possible by early treatment. It is an excellent development for both Dame and the Bucks. He has been ruled out for Game 1 against the Pacers on Saturday, and they will give him time to ramp up before he returns to the lineup. It’s unclear what that timeline looks like, but Lillard is certainly on pace to return sooner rather than later. Ryan Rollins should continue to start in place of Dame until he returns.

Robinson-Earl struggled with his shot in Sunday’s season finale, but he did provide solid value in the rebound and assist categories. He didn’t offer much value throughout the season, as rotation minutes were not guaranteed. Unfortunately for Robinson-Earl, he’s likely to encounter a similar situation in New Orleans next season with a healthy Zion Williamson in the fold.

Alvarado struggled in his season finale, especially from a ball security standpoint. The Pelicans’ point guard recorded six turnovers. Add in the poor shooting from the field, and this was a rough afternoon to stream Alvarado in active fantasy leagues. A backup when the Pelicans are whole, Alvarado’s fantasy value is limited. With Dejounte Murray recovering from a ruptured Achilles tendon, will New Orleans look to add another point guard over the summer? Or would they be fine handing the keys to Alvarado to begin the season? Those questions will significantly impact Alvarado’s 2025-26 draft position. Alvarado’s two-year, $9 million extension will kick in next season.

Reeves finished his rookie season with an eighth consecutive game in double figures, tallying 20 points or more twice. He’s one of the young Pelicans whose playing time increased once more established players were sidelined by injuries, which should temper the fantasy expectations for Reeves in 2025-26.

With four of Milwaukee’s five starters ruled out for a season finale that had no impact on playoff seeding, Smith played extended minutes for the first time since early February. The rookie played very well, shooting 66.7 percent from the field and recording his first 20-point game. Smith has not been in the rotation this season, and that isn’t going to change during the playoffs. But give the rookie credit for staying ready for his moment, which presented itself on Sunday.

Kuzma was the lone starter on the court for Sunday’s regular-season finale and did not get cheated as he went on a heater for a quarter. He was back in street clothes for the second half. While he’s had his moments since joining the Bucks at the February trade deadline, Kuzma has not been as impactful as some may have hoped. Milwaukee will need a player closer to the one they saw on Sunday if they’re to take down the Pacers in the first round.

Having been passed in the rotation by AJ Green (6/3/4 with two three-pointers in 19 minutes), one can argue that Connaughton desperately needed a day like Sunday, regardless of the strength of the two teams on the court. Not only did he establish a new career-high point total, but this was also his first game with at least 25 points. Connaughton shot over 50 percent from the field and was also productive in the rebound, assist and steals categories. His role in Milwaukee’s first-round series against the Pacers will likely be limited, but Sunday’s effort should boost Connaughton’s confidence.

Olynyk will miss New Orleans’ final three games, ending a disappointing fantasy season for the veteran center/power forward. Olynyk did not offer much fantasy value until he was traded from Toronto to New Orleans, and he needed Zion Williamson’s absence to do that. At this stage in his career, Olynyk is essentially a “silly season” hero in fantasy basketball, and even that isn’t guaranteed. Due to New Orleans’ depleted frontcourt, Kylor Kelley and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl will play significant minutes.

Missi finished his debut season ranked just inside the top-200 in eight- and nine-cat formats, claiming the starting center job for good in early November. Matkovic’s climb into the Pelicans’ rotation took longer, but he would finish just inside the top-200 in nine-cat formats. The 24-year-old shooting guard has now played at least 30 minutes in five of his last six games, though he’s reached 20 points in only one of those games. Payton recorded a statistical oddity Friday against the Heat as the 31-year-old point guard put up a double-double with 10 rebounds and 13 assists. Payton was also -41 in 29 minutes as the Pelicans lost to the Heat by 49 points. Payton has been a reliable assist man in the final weeks of the regular season, though he hasn’t provided much else outside of the 10 rebounds Friday.

Porter Jr. continues to be a revelation in the season’s final two weeks. The 24-year-old point guard came off the bench Friday, but played 31 minutes, more than every starter not named Giannis Antetokounmpo. While Porter Jr. has certainly benefited from the absence of Damian Lillard, he’s also been a top-50 fantasy player over the last two weeks. He’s made the most of his opportunity and that shouldn’t go unnoticed.

Portis has been awesome in three games since returning from a suspension for taking a banned substance. The 30-year-old power forward had his second double-double in his last three games. Portis played 33 off the bench and will be a key player for the Bucks in the first round of the playoffs.

Antetokounmpo was probable with a shoulder injury, but played 38 minutes and had a triple-double against the Pistons Friday. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him rest in the Bucks’ season finale against the Pistons Sunday.

The 26-year-old point guard has now taken at least 12 shots in five consecutive games, something he seldom did before that stretch. Alvarado was just 2-for-21 from behind the three-point line in his previous four games so he was due to make six three-pointers as he did against the Lakers. Expect Alvarado to keep chucking with inconsistent results as the Pelicans finish out the season.
