Rollins didn’t have a great night shooting the basketball, but he did provide solid value in the rebound and assist categories. Starting for the injured Kevin Porter Jr. (knee), Rollins’ 12 assists were the most in a game for him since November 20, when he dished out a career-high 14 against the 76ers. Rollins played 33 minutes against the Hawks, with Milwaukee’s lack of point guard depth contributing to his playing more than the other four starters. Dieng’s 14 points in Wednesday’s defeat weren’t a shocking development. However, fantasy managers likely hoped to get more from him in the other relevant categories. Dieng’s fantasy value has remained low, but he’s a player for whom the Bucks will likely attempt to find more playing time during the final weeks of the regular season. He started and played 26 minutes on Wednesday, with his playing time taking a hit because the game was a blowout.

Wednesday’s game was one that the Bucks needed, as they trailed Atlanta by four games for the final play-in spot. Unfortunately for Giannis and co., they were on the wrong end of a blowout at home. Of importance to fantasy managers was that Antetokounmpo played 25 minutes, matching his number in Monday’s loss to the Celtics. The concern now is what happens if the Bucks fall even further off the pace for a play-in spot, especially if that were to happen during the playoff weeks in fantasy leagues.

While he made four three-pointers on Wednesday, Anunoby needed 13 attempts to hit that number. The Knicks play two more games in Week 19, starting with the Nuggets on Friday.

The Thunder’s ability to rotate multiple players onto Brunson throughout Wednesday’s game led to him having one of his poorer offensive efforts of the season. However, he recorded a season-high 15 assists, just over a month after dishing out 13 in a win over the Lakers. There aren’t many teams with the perimeter personnel Oklahoma City boasts, and Brunson doesn’t shoot the ball as poorly as he did on Wednesday very often. He’ll look to bounce back on Friday in Denver.

While Towns only attempted eight shots on the night, his work on the glass was a big reason why the Knicks had a chance to send Wednesday’s game into overtime. He grabbed nine offensive rebounds, more than compensating for the Knicks not having Mitchell Robinson (ankle). The Knicks now hit the road for five games, starting with the Nuggets on Friday. They’ll need a similar performance from KAT, who has played arguably his best basketball of the season since the All-Star break.

Hart entered Tuesday in a bit of a slump, having shot 12-of-36 from the field over the last three games. The Knicks are a better basketball team when Anunoby comes out aggressive on the offensive end of the floor, and that was the case on Tuesday. He shot 5-of-6 from the field in the first quarter, scoring 14 points. The downside was that Anunoby’s numbers in the final three quarters were limited, and he did not record any defensive stats. However, that has not been the norm for him this season, so fantasy managers don’t have anything to worry about.

But Brunson still managed to get to his spots when it mattered most, shooting 4-of-7 from the field in the fourth quarter to help close out the win. Rollins was moved to the bench on Monday, the first time that he hasn’t started a game since December 26. And he had a rough night, shooting 1-of-6 from two and 1-of-5 from beyond the arc. Given how well Rollins has played for most of this season, fantasy managers should not be too concerned about Monday’s stat line. The concern is the playing time, as the 24 minutes were the fewest for Rollins since that December 26 loss to the Grizzlies.

Having missed five weeks with a strained right calf, the second time this season that he’s suffered that injury, Antetokounmpo was under a minutes limit on Monday. Thomas’ point output was solid, but most of his damage was done at the foul line. The Bucks guard made eight of his ten free throws, but he shot just 2-of-7 from inside the arc. Portis shot the ball reasonably well on Sunday, but that was the lone positive for him and the Bucks. Towns didn’t do much scoring on Sunday, but his ability to use mismatches to his advantage was critical. The Spurs put a smaller defender on KAT for most of the game, having Victor Wembanyama guard Josh Hart to allow him to take on a “center field” role. Towns may not have punished the Spurs as a scorer as often as possible, but he did grab five offensive rebounds and help extend a few other positions through his hustle. The good news for fantasy managers is that Rollins made more than half of his shot attempts. However, he recorded more turnovers (five) than assists (four), with backcourt partner Kevin Porter Jr. (11/6/10/1/1 with one three-pointer) being far more efficient as a playmaker. Bucks head coach Doc Rivers had some interesting comments before Wednesday’s game, saying that Turner was not under a minutes restriction in his first games back from a calf strain. He played 24 minutes against the shorthanded Cavaliers, while Jericho Sims (11 points, 11 rebounds and two assists) played 29 off the bench. Rebounding may have had more to do with the minutes split than Turner’s recent calf strain, as Sims offers more production in that area. Milwaukee’s starting backcourt of Rollins and Kevin Porter Jr. was excellent in the team’s home wins over Miami and Cleveland to begin Week 18. Rollins’ nine assists on Wednesday were the most in a game for him since February 3, when he recorded ten in a win over the Bulls. Signed to a contract for the rest of the season at the All-Star break, Sochan made his Knicks’ debut on Thursday.
