Towns wasn’t on the initial injury report, but there is a chance he misses a game for the first time this season. Mitchell Robinson will be back after sitting out the second leg of the Knicks’ back-to-back in their last game, so if Towns is out, Landry Shamet could remain in the starting lineup for another game. If not, Josh Hart and Guerschon Yabusele are candidates to start and take on extra minutes.

Antetokounmpo took all 14 of his shots inside the arc, scoring 15 of his team-high 22 points in the first half. The Bucks sputtered offensively on the second night of a back-to-back, shooting just 31 percent (6-of-19) from three in the opening half and falling behind by 19 at the break. They trailed by 25 entering the fourth, which allowed Giannis to rest the entire final period. The 30-year-old superstar is averaging 32 points and 12 rebounds through seven games, ranking as a top-10 fantasy contributor so far. Milwaukee will look to bounce back Friday night against the division-rival Bulls.

Despite dealing with a right hand injury that may be more serious than initially reported, Hart has looked like his usual self in the Knicks’ last two games. After scoring 14 points on 50 percent shooting in Sunday’s win over the Bulls, he recorded his first double-double of the season against the Wizards. Hart didn’t record any defensive stats on Monday, but he did dish out five assists and shoot 2-of-4 from beyond the arc. While he may not approach the heights of last season in terms of fantasy value, Hart can still be a solid option on a category-league roster.

After totaling 47 points in two games against the Bulls, Anunoby was comparatively quiet offensively in Monday’s win over the Wizards. However, he did record a season-high five steals, two shy of his career-high and one shy of his high as a Knick. Anunoby has picked up right where he left off last season, providing third-round value in nine-cat formats. The Knicks wings have benefited from the changes made by new head coach Mike Brown, with Anunoby and Mikal Bridges (10/2/4/3/2 with two three-pointers) being excellent value picks in fantasy basketball.

Given the amount of time spent in Utah, Clarkson’s need for a bit of time to adjust to playing on a team with championship aspirations is understandable. After scoring 10 points or fewer in each of his first five games as a Knick, he’s scored 15 points in consecutive appearances. In the Knicks’ wins over Chicago and Washington, Clarkson shot 11-of-19 from the field overall and 5-of-11 from beyond the arc. Clarkson and the Knicks will face tougher competition with the Timberwolves visiting on Wednesday, but the last two games were a nice confidence boost for the guard.

While Wizards second-year center Alex Sarr has shown signs of improvement thus far, he still isn’t a match for stronger post players. With that in mind, Towns made a concerted effort to attack the paint early and often, and the result was his most productive offensive showing of the season. KAT recorded his first 30-point game, shooting 50 percent from the field, and his seventh straight double-double. From a fantasy standpoint, the lone issue for Towns has been his shot, with the 7-footer shooting 40.8 percent from the field. More nights like Monday will get him into the first-round territory many expected him to reside in before the season began.

After scoring 22 points off the bench in the Bucks’ last game, Kuzma was able to have another decent performance against Indiana. The discouraging part is that he only played 16 minutes. Kuzma struggled during the second half of last season after being sent to the Bucks, though he was part of the starting lineup. Now, he’s come off the bench in almost every game this season. He’s playing better, but if he isn’t getting the opportunity, his upside is limited.

It was another spectacular night for Antetokounmpo despite another rough night from the free throw line, and it ended with a contested fadeaway at the buzzer. Giannis will continue to stuff the stat sheet every night for Milwaukee; he has scored at least 30 points in five of his six appearances and has a double-double in all but one game this season. This was the first leg of a back-to-back, so there is a chance that Antetokounmpo doesn’t play against the Raptors on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the injury report.

Hart is dealing with a left ankle sprain, though it’s unclear if this is a serious injury or maintenance on the second night of a back-to-back set. Towns has hit double digits in rebounds in all six games, helping the Knicks compensate for Mitchell Robinson’s limited availability. KAT has gotten off to a slow start offensively, shooting 38 percent from the field, but he remains a top-50 player in eight- and nine-cat formats. In the Knicks’ home-and-home with the Bulls, Brunson totaled 60 points on 22-of-47 shooting from the field. He’s scored 30 points or more in four of his first six games, a clear sign that his offense won’t suffer in a system that has taken the ball out of Brunson’s hand more than in years past. Hart had his most productive game of the season on Sunday, reaching double figures in points for the first time. While he only made one of his five three-point attempts, the 50 percent night from the field was an encouraging development. Before Sunday’s game, Hart revealed that in addition to the right ring finger injury he’s navigating, there is some nerve damage in the hand that occasionally leaves him without feeling in his pinky and middle fingers. Hart is playing through it, but the field-goal percentage may suffer. The Knicks play three games during Week 3, starting with the Wizards on Monday.

Robinson did not attempt a shot on Sunday, but the most notable occurrence was his sprained right ankle during the first minute of the third quarter. The Knicks center came down on another player’s foot and rolled his right ankle. The good news is that it was the left ankle that was operated on, and Robinson returned to action later in the quarter. However, with the Knicks hosting the Wizards on Monday, there’s a very real possibility that he will not play. Having recorded career-high point totals in his last two games, Rollins was bound to cool down eventually. However, he still shot over 50 percent from the field on Saturday and recorded eight assists, matching his season high. Even with Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) back in the Bucks’ lineup, Portis’ playing time increased on Saturday, playing 23 minutes after logging 16 in Thursday’s win over the Warriors. The reason for the increase in playing time was Myles Turner (9/3/0/2 with three three-pointers) getting into early foul trouble, which limited him to 24 minutes. While a fixture in the Bucks’ rotation, Portis’ opportunities are dictated primarily by Turner’s production, which limits his fantasy ceiling.

While Kuzma is shooting 55 percent from the field this season, his limited rebounding and defensive production lower his fantasy ceiling considerably. However, he can come through with the occasional big scoring night, which happened on Saturday. Giannis had a chance to send Saturday’s game into overtime after rebounding a free throw intentionally missed by teammate AJ Green. Unfortunately for the Bucks star, he was stripped of the ball by Zach LaVine just before time expired, ending Milwaukee’s four-game win streak. However, despite a sore knee, Antetokounmpo finished two assists shy of a triple-double and recorded a complete stat line. Robinson saw his first action of the season on Friday. While Knicks head coach Mike Brown said before the game that the 7-footer would not be restricted, he only played 20 minutes. The good news for fantasy managers needing rebounding production is that Robinson doesn’t need much time to make a dent in that category, as evidenced by his 11 boards against the Bulls. After scoring 24 points in the Knicks’ season-opening win over the Cavaliers, Anunoby fell into a three-game slump, averaging 11.0 points on 29.4 percent shooting. One of the few positives from Friday’s disappointing loss was OG breaking that slump, shooting 75 percent from the field and 5-of-7 from beyond the arc. Mainly an option for fantasy managers needing three-pointers, Green has lived up to that expectation thus far. The Bucks guard has shot 10-of-17 from beyond the arc through three games. Sunday’s performance was Green’s best, as he mixed in a few shots in the paint and his first five free-throw attempts of the season.
