George practiced on Wednesday and is considered questionable for Friday’s matchup with the Nets. If he can play, Dominick Barlow is the player most likely headed to the bench. Edgecombe participated in Wednesday’s practice, but he still has not reached the point where he can play in games. Bona is closing in on a return after missing the last five games with a sprained right ankle. His return would give the 76ers additional depth at the center position, especially with Joel Embiid (knee) sidelined. However, there isn’t much to gain from rostering Bona as long as Andre Drummond is healthy. He’ll continue to start for Embiid, absorbing most of the available minutes.

Antetokounmpo has missed Milwaukee’s last four games, most recently sitting out Wednesday’s loss to the Heat. Gary Trent Jr. was his replacement in the starting lineup for that one, playing 35 minutes and scoring 15 points. The sharpshooting guard was productive from beyond the arc, as usual, against Miami. However, his playmaking was the bigger story on Wednesday. Green posted a season-high in assists and came within two assists of his first double-double of the season. There aren’t many reasons to believe Green can sustain this level of playmaking over the long term. He likely isn’t worth a roster spot in fantasy leagues.

Turner had one of his more productive games in quite some time on Wednesday. Accurate shooting inside the arc helped the veteran center set a new season-high in points, and also log his third 20-point outing of the season. Poor shooting from beyond the arc and a few misses from the charity stripe prevented him from producing more. Still, Turner did his part and nearly notched a double-double in the loss.

Rollins bounced back from an inefficient 10-point, 4-of-14 shooting performance against the Trail Blazers. He made four triples alone against the Heat and tied a season-high in rebounds along the way. He led Milwaukee in scoring, but ultimately it wasn’t enough to stop the Bucks’ skid — they’ve now lost six games in a row, but will have a chance to end the streak on Friday against the Knicks.

The Bucks are without Giannis Antetokounmpo for a fourth straight game, as he continues to recover from a strained groin. Head coach Doc Rivers has decided to go small, moving Trent into the starting lineup. This raises his fantasy ceiling, making the guard worth a look even with nine games on Wednesday’s schedule. Jericho Sims and Bobby Portis will come off the bench, with the latter worth streaming despite that role.

One game removed from scoring a season-high 15 points against the Heat, McCain matched that number on Tuesday. It wasn’t enough to help the 76ers remain competitive, but it was another step in the right direction for the second-year guard. Quentin Grimes (eight points, three rebounds and four assists), who made another start for the injured Kelly Oubre Jr., shot 1-of-9 from the field on Tuesday. He remains a superior fantasy option to McCain, but Jared’s recent production should not be overlooked.

The 76ers were outscored in the second quarter by a 51-25 margin, putting Tuesday’s NBA Cup matchup out of reach. If there was a silver lining for Philadelphia, it’s that they were able to get Maxey some extra rest, even though he still played 32 minutes. With Joel Embiid and Paul George dealing with injuries, the 76ers have needed even more from Maxey, and he’s answered the call on most nights. That wasn’t the case on Tuesday, but he’ll look to bounce back on Friday against the Nets.

Rollins had to deal with Portland’s Toumani Camara for most of Monday’s game, and the impact on his output was unsurprisingly negative. Monday’s game was just the fourth this season in which the fourth-year guard scored 10 points or less, so there isn’t too much to be worried about. In the three games since Milwaukee lost Giannis Antetokounmpo (groin) during a November 17 loss to the Cavaliers, Portis has scored 19, 18 and 22 points. After starting the first two games, Portis was back on the bench Monday night, but that didn’t prevent him from recording his first 20-point game of the season. As long as Portis continues to hit the mid-to-high 20s in minutes, he’s worth trusting while the Bucks await Giannis’ return, especially with the Bucks having three more games in Week 6.

Turner recorded his second double-double in three games on Monday, but the production since Milwaukee lost Giannis Antetokounmpo to a strained groin has been underwhelming. Over the last three games, the Bucks’ center has averaged 12.3 points on 39.4 percent shooting from the field. The good news is that the rebounds, blocks and three-pointers have been there, but a more accurate Turner would be more valuable to fantasy managers. Portis was Bucks head coach Doc Rivers’ choice to fill the massive void left by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who will be re-evaluated in one to two weeks after suffering a strained groin. After a slow start to his 11th NBA season, “The Mayor of Milwaukee” was productive in his 28 minutes. The playing time is a concern, especially with Myles Turner (14/10/1 with three three-pointers) also playing 28 minutes. Gary Trent Jr. (11 points, two assists, one steal and three three-pointers) replaced Portis in the lineup to begin the third quarter, a sign that the matchup influenced the minutes. Charania’s report indicates it’s a low-grade left groin strain for Giannis, and if he doesn’t return in November, he should be back quickly to start December. That means at least three absences for Giannis, though he could be out seven games or more, depending on how he recovers. Antetokounmpo has had one of the highest usage rates of his career this year, so there will be plenty of shots to go around. Recently, Kyle Kuzma (24 percent rostered in Yahoo! leagues) replaced Gary Trent Jr. (seven percent) in the starting lineup, but GTJ could make a return to the opening unit with Antetokounmpo out. Jericho Sims started the second half of Monday’s game against the Cavaliers, but that was likely a matchup-based decision against Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen. Bobby Portis (25 percent) is another candidate to enter the starting lineup, though he has been disappointing this year. Of course, Ryan Rollins, who is enjoying a breakout season for the Bucks, had his two best games of the year when Giannis missed games earlier this year. Everyone on the Bucks will seen a bump in usage and minutes until Antetokounmpo returns.

Antetokounmpo did his part from a scoring standpoint on the second night of a back-to-back for Milwaukee, but he got little help from his supporting cast in the early stages of this one as they ultimately trailed by 29 points at halftime.
