Randle continues to deal with soreness in his left thumb, which is difficult to deal with for a left-handed shooter. The 31-year-old power forward was able to play through the injury Monday against the Grizzlies. If Randle is out Wednesday, Jaylen Clark could move into the starting lineup and Naz Reid would have a higher ceiling.

While Edwards is back on the injury report, the good news is that it’s because of a sore left elbow rather than the lingering right foot issue. With the Timberwolves trading Mike Conley on Tuesday, Bones Hyland would be the likely replacement in the lineup if Ant-Man can’t play.

DiVincenzo’s production has come inconsistently this season, but he’s still capable of getting hot and pouring in the points. He shot over 70 percent for the first time this season while still contributing plenty of triples and steals. This was the 15th straight game that he hit at least two three-pointers, and he has swiped at least one steal in all but two of those games. January was a productive month for him, and he has started February off well.

McDaniels has been on a heater recently, which continued in this game. This was the third straight game that he scored at least 20 points, and he has averaged 23.3 points and 4.3 triples while shooting 69.2 percent from the floor during this stretch. He’s enjoyed arguably the best season of his career thus far, but he has taken his scoring up a notch recently. He’ll look to stay hot in Toronto on Wednesday.

It has been nearly two months since Edwards last scored less than 20 points in a game, and this was the second game in a row that he scored at least 30 points, with both games being played in Memphis. However, they ended up on the wrong side of the scoreboard in this one, which ended a four-game winning streak. He is having the best season of his career by averaging a career high for points while also having the best field goal and three-point percentage of his career. He’ll look to stay hot in Toronto on Wednesday.

Reid, who’s reached double figures in four straight and six of his last seven games, had one of his best all-around games of the month on Saturday. The six three-pointers were a new season-high, and he was a blocked shot shy of a complete stat line. Rebounds and defensive stats are the areas where Gobert can be most valuable to fantasy managers, and that’s how things played out on Saturday. He’s hit double digits in rebounds and blocked at least two shots in three of his last four outings. For the first time since early November, McDaniels has recorded back-to-back 20-point games. He’s also reached double figures in shot attempts in two straight games, and this level of aggression is what the Timberwolves need from McDaniels consistently. He got off to an excellent start to the season, but tailed off a bit after Christmas. Even if he doesn’t do much scoring, McDaniels will provide solid fantasy value. However, he’s a far different player when willing to look for his shot more often.

While Randle’s defensive production wasn’t as robust as it was in Thursday’s win over the Thunder, he got back on track offensively. The Timberwolves’ forward was responsible for 27 points and seven assists, with the latter tally being the most in a game for him since December 29. Melton had another excellent shooting night off the bench Friday. The 27-year-old shooting guard has now been in double figures in nine of his last 11 games. Curry left Friday’s game against the Pistons in the third quarter with right knee soreness and didn’t return, but his coach didn’t seem too concerned about it postgame. Kerr told reporters he doesn’t think the injury is anything major, though it’s been nagging the 37-year-old point guard for the past week. The Warriors will have a more official update on Curry’s status Saturday, but it seems more like an injury he’ll have to manage than something that could keep him sidelined for an extended period. Randle may not have done much scoring on Thursday, but he was one of the Timberwolves who brought added defensive intensity to the table. After sitting out Monday’s loss to the Timberwolves, Horford was back in the starting lineup on Wednesday. He provided good value in that role on Wednesday, recording a complete stat line that included eight assists and three blocks. Of the eight Warriors who finished Wednesday’s victory in double figures, five were reserves. That includes Santos, whose 16 points were three shy of his career-high. And while Golden State did lead by as much as 27, his production can’t be credited solely to the game getting out of hand.
