Furphy returned to action Saturday after a four-game absence, playing 23 minutes off the bench in a win over the Warriors. He’ll likely take on a similar workload against the Bucks, but that isn’t enough to make Furphy a streamable player, even with the Pacers’ many injuries.

Siakam’s ranked outside the top-100 in eight- and nine-cat formats, with low percentages being the culprit. Given his career production, one would assume that Spicy P will close in on his Yahoo! ADP (30) as the season progresses. He’s being asked to shoulder a heavy workload, but that will change somewhat once the Pacers get some of their injured rotation players back on the floor. Now would be a good time to see if you can “buy low” on Siakam, especially with the Pacers playing four games in Week 3.

Not only did Nesmith notch a career-high point total, but this was also his third 30-point game. Given how poorly he’s shot the ball to begin the season, Nesmith getting untracked on Saturday was critical for the shorthanded Pacers. Shooting 34.6 percent from the field and 66.7 percent from the foul line, he’s ranked outside the top-200 in nine-cat formats. However, due to Indiana’s lack of available options, Nesmith needs to be rostered in deep leagues, even if that comes with the risk of him recording low percentages. The Pacers play four games during Week 3, starting with the Bucks on Monday.

Due to the Pacers’ many injuries, players who would have been an afterthought receive legitimate opportunities to contribute. Jackson is one of them, with Saturday’s start being his second in as many nights. And he put on a show, recording his first double-double and notching a career-high point total. Jackson’s biggest shot was his last, as his bank shot with 5.2 seconds remaining extended Indiana’s lead to five. The Pacers play four games during Week 3, and Jackson is worth adding in deep leagues due to the injuries.

Gobert did most of his damage down the home stretch as he took advantage of Charlotte’s lack of an interior presence outside of rookie center Ryan Kalkbrenner, recording his second double-double of the season. He’s unlikely to add much from a scoring standpoint, but he’s a reliable rebounder and is averaging nearly two blocks per-game this season. The five assists were certainly a nice bonus in this one.

Another injury is the last thing the Pacers needed. Walker exited Saturday’s game with a sore left foot and is questionable to return. After missing Indiana’s first two games due to a hamstring injury suffered during the preseason, Jackson was ramped up gradually ahead of Friday’s game. While he did start, Jackson only played 22 minutes. However, the production was encouraging, and he’s worth streaming in deep leagues until Andrew Nembhard or T.J. McConnell is cleared to return. Ben Sheppard, who was in the starting lineup, played 29 minutes off the bench and finished with four points (2-of-9 FGs), seven rebounds and one assist. Unsurprisingly, Siakam once again led the Pacers in scoring. However, his efficiency was lacking, as he shot 33.3 percent from the field and 60 percent from the foul line. Also, Siakam did not record any defensive stats, which was somewhat surprising given that he was averaging 1.5 steals per game entering Friday. Siakam will be fine, but it’s fair for some to be concerned about the workload he’s had to shoulder due to the Pacers’ many injuries.

Two days removed from scoring 20 points in a loss to the Mavericks, Walker pumped in 17 more against the Hawks on Friday. Before Friday’s game, the Pacers announced that Obi Toppin (foot) will be out until February, joining the team’s lengthy injury list. Given the Pacers’ many injuries, Nesmith has every opportunity to take on an expanded offensive role. Unfortunately, he had a brutal night in Dallas. Nesmith shot 1-of-9 from three, with his last attempt coming off an intentionally missed free throw in the final seconds that would have won the game. Like most of his other shots, Nesmith’s final effort missed the mark. Dennis was not in the starting lineup on Wednesday, but he was among the Pacers’ finishers. The two-way contract guard shot 4-of-7 from beyond the arc, providing the Pacers with much-needed production off the bench. Starter Ben Sheppard (4/8/2 in 25 minutes) shot 1-of-7 from the field, and he isn’t much of a point guard. While he shot a respectable 4-of-10 from beyond the arc, Walker’s inability to finish in the paint torpedoed his overall field-goal percentage. McDaniels was aggressive on the offensive end in Minnesota’s first game of the season without Anthony Edwards (hamstring). The versatile forward led all Timberwolves players in shot attempts and was the only one to tally double-digit makes. He was efficient from the floor and, unsurprisingly, made an impact on the defensive end as a shot blocker. Julius Randle was one of the brightest spots for Minnesota’s offense on Friday. Accurate shooting from deep and inside the three-point line helped lead the veteran forward to his first 20-point outing of the season, which allowed him to finish as the second-leading scorer on the team. Randle’s work on the glass was also impressive and nearly enough to secure a double-double, while his handful of dimes tied a team-best.
