Haynes’ initial report said the Clippers were “severing ties” with Paul, and the team released a statement confirming that. Paul also posted on Instagram at 2:40 a.m. in Atlanta, where the Clippers are playing on Wednesday, that he is being sent home. Paul announced previously that this would be his final season, so this could give him an opportunity to join a contending team to close out his career. That was likely the idea with the Clippers, along with Paul enjoying some of the best seasons of his career with them, but the team has started off 5-16. CP3 has played a small reserve role this year, so his departure may open up a few minutes for Kris Dunn and Cam Christie, but it won’t significantly alter the rotation.

Reid has once again been one of the best reserves in the NBA, but he was able to do more than just score in this one. He set new season highs for both assists and steals, which led to one of his more complete performances of the season. Reid has once again been a top-100 player in nine-category leagues this year despite a slight drop in production across the board.

New Orleans didn’t have much of an answer for Edwards, which led to him scoring at least 30 points for a sixth straight game. This was also his fourth 40-point performance of the season, with three of those coming over the past six games. Edwards is on an incredible scoring tear right now, and with a rematch in New Orleans coming up on Thursday, he should be able to keep this going.

After three straight games without a double-double, Gobert was able to produce his eighth of the season. His 26 points were also a season high and the first time he has surpassed 20 points this year. Gobert hasn’t been the fantasy star that he has been in the past, largely because his free throws are worse than usual. However, he had his best game from the charity stripe this season, which led to best performance of the year.

Miller exited Monday’s loss to the Heat after playing six minutes off the bench. While his availability does not affect fantasy basketball, it does impact the minutes available to Kobe Sanders and Cam Christie. There’s no need to consider either player for streaming on Wednesday’s slate.

This will be a seventh straight absence for Bogdanović, and there isn’t much clarity as to how much longer he’ll be out. Kobe Sanders played 26 minutes on Monday, though his role has been inconsistent. Nicolas Batum has also taken on extra minutes with Bogdanović out.

Finishing as a +8 in 30 minutes in a game your team loses by 17 is impressive. Leonard was able to have an excellent night, though 19 of his points came in the fourth quarter, when the game was practically already decided. It has been a rough season for the Clippers, but Leonard has still been really productive. He’ll look to help them end their losing streak in Atlanta on Wednesday.

Zubac was once again a bright spot in a loss for the Clippers. They’ve lost five straight, and he has grabbed double-digit rebounds in each game. Zubac’s production has only dropped slightly from last season, and he’ll continue to consistently produce, even if things aren’t going well in LA. Next up is Atlanta on Wednesday, and they’re one of the worst rebounding teams in the league.

Harden struggled in this game and didn’t end up getting an opportunity to step up in the second half. Clippers coach Tyronn Lue subbed him out a little over a minute into the third quarter, and he didn’t check back in. Harden has been a bright spot in a rough season for the Clippers, but this was the opposite; they were outscored by 39 points in a 17-point loss during his 20 minutes on the floor. Harden will look to get back on track in Atlanta on Wednesday.

Miller played six minutes before exiting with lower back tightness, leaving the Clippers down a rotation wing. Kobe Sanders and Cam Christie are available to absorb the minutes that would have gone to Miller, but neither is a factor in fantasy basketball.

Edwards broke 30 points for the fifth straight game as he knocked down four three-pointers and shot a sublime 72 percent from the floor. He showed zero signs of fatigue on the second night of a back-to-back after torching the Celtics for 39 points earlier this weekend. The 24-year-old scoring machine is averaging 28.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists 1.3 steals and 0.6 blocks through 16 games. The Timberwolves open a three-game week with back-to-back road contests against the floundering Pelicans before returning home to face the Clippers next weekend.

Randle has struggled his last couple games, but managed to snap out of it in this one, matching a season-high with 12 assists while reaching the 20-point plateau for the first time in four contests.

Bogdanović will remain out for a sixth straight game. Nicolas Batum logged 28 minutes off the bench on Saturday and should continue to play a larger role. However, he was largely unproductive and isn’t worth streaming in with Bogdanović out.

Miller will be back after a seven-game absence, and he had a spot in the rotation prior to his injury. His return could cut into the minutes for Kobe Brown and Kobe Sanders, though Clippers coach Tyronn Lue has relied on the starters heavily recently.

Given his injury history since joining the Clippers, Leonard’s playing both games of a back-to-back is encouraging. After logging 29 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Grizzlies, he matched that number on Saturday and recorded another 30-point game. The Clippers’ four-game Week 7 concludes with another back-to-back, so fantasy managers won’t have to wait long to see if Leonard’s days of sitting out back-to-backs have come to an end (for now).

After failing to hit double figures in scoring for the first time since November 4 in Friday’s loss to the Grizzlies, Zubac began a new streak on Saturday. The double-double was his 12th of the season, and the playing time remains high. Zubac has played at least 32 minutes in four straight and nine of his last ten games. The concern after Saturday’s game was the collision with Dallas’ Dwight Powell, which caused Zubac to hit the back of his head on the court. He stayed in the game, but with the Clippers visiting Miami on Monday, we’ll have to see whether the 7-footer’s name appears on the injury report.

Harden recorded his second double-double in as many nights on Saturday, but the efficiency was missing. In addition to the poor shooting from the field, The Beard was responsible for seven of the Clippers’ 18 turnovers. Harden has only been a top-75 player over the last week, and the average of five turnovers per game has a lot to do with that. That said, fantasy managers know what they’re getting into when they roster Harden. The Clippers play four games in Week 7.

Still rostered in 77 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Collins has not offered much fantasy value this season. That changed on Saturday, as the veteran forward tallied season-highs in points and blocked shots. Getting to start does raise Collins’ ceiling, but he hasn’t reached it very often. He has been a top-100 player in nine-cat formats over the past week; fantasy managers will hope that trend continues. The Clippers hit the road for four games in Week 7, starting with the Heat on Monday.

Edwards has been on a scoring tear recently. He has scored at least 30 points while also hitting five triples in four straight games, and he fell one point shy of reaching 40 points for the third time during this stretch. That was enough to help Minnesota snap a three-game losing streak. Regardless of the matchup, Edwards will continue to pour in the points, and he’ll look to end this week on a high note against the Spurs on Sunday.

Randle started off the year incredibly hot, but the last handful of games have been rough for him. The main difference has been his field goal percentage; he shot at least 50 percent from the floor in each of his first 10 games, but he has been below that mark in five of his last six games. He’ll look to get back on track against the Spurs on Sunday to wrap up the week.
