Antetokounmpo didn’t show any signs of rust in his first game action since December 3 after an eight-game absence due to a right calf strain. He dropped 15 points on 7-of-9 shooting in the first half and nearly reached the lofty 30-point plateau in just 24 minutes. He also uncorked a windmill dunk in the final seconds with the game in hand that drew a strong reaction from the Bulls and led to a benches-clearing incident. It seems likely he’ll have a bit of a minutes restriction for at least a couple additional games but it’s a welcome development for fantasy managers to get him back in the lineup. The Bucks have four games on tap next week including a pair against the Hornets in addition to the Wizards and Kings.

Porter Jr. had several highs and lows throughout Friday’s loss. He finished as the Bucks’ second leading scorer, but shot poorly overall and made only one of his seven three-point attempts. He also tied a team-high in assists, although his seven turnovers led to a poor assist-to-turnover ratio and cost his team several scoring opportunities. His eight turnovers were impactful and helped add to his balanced stat line. However, he left a lot of meat on the bone and will look to be more consistent on Saturday against the Bulls.

Portis utilized efficient shooting and tied a season-high in rebounds before earning his fourth double-double in the past six games. He was one of five Milwaukee players to score at least 15 points, and one of three Bucks to collect multiple steals. The veteran forward has now stepped into a starting role under head coach Doc Rivers, and with the role and minutes where they are currently, fantasy managers should expect Portis to remain productive moving forward.

He broke out of a four-game shooting slump to tie a season-high in points and three-pointers, while scoring in double figures for the first time since December 3 against the Pistons. Though Gobert finished one point shy of a double-double, he was still able to have a productive fantasy night in what has been a strong season for him. Of course, Nikola Jokic’s monster night will take away from what Gobert did, but it was solid for fantasy managers before he fouled out in overtime. Randle has cooled off after an excellent start to the year, but he’s certainly still capable of big scoring nights, as he proved in this game. This was his sixth 30-point game of the season, though it was his first since Nov. 19, and the other four came during Minnesota’s first eight games of the season. Edwards started this game off hot and ended the first quarter with 14 points. He cooled off after that until the fourth quarter. He scored 13 points over the final seven minutes, including a contested three-pointer from the corner to tie the game and force overtime. He helped Minnesota score the first nine points of overtime, but the game shifted Denver’s way after that. After missing Thursday’s loss to the Raptors, Kuzma was moved into the starting lineup, with Gary Trent Jr. dropping to the bench. He only recorded six official field-goal attempts, but Kuzma recorded his second double-double of the season. After a stellar performance in Thursday’s loss to the Raptors, Portis was inserted into the starting lineup for the first time since November 22. Jericho Sims, who was moved back to the bench to make room for Portis, played 19 minutes and finished with nine points, six rebounds, two assists and one steal. While Porter committed six turnovers on Sunday, his finishing one assist shy of a triple-double is more notable, especially in eight-cat formats. For the first time since Milwaukee’s season opener, Rollins came off the bench on Thursday. However, being replaced in the lineup by Gary Trent Jr. did not negatively impact Rollins’ value. Turner finished Thursday with his fourth 20-point game of the season and first since November 26. Unfortunately for those who have the center rostered, his fantasy value has not increased with Giannis Antetokounmpo sidelined. In fact, Turner is ranked outside the top-200 in eight- and nine-cat formats over the past two weeks.
