Olynyk has been a consistent presence in the starting lineup since being traded to New Orleans, but this may have been his best performance as a Pelican. He recorded his second double-double since the trade, and he dished out seven dimes for the third time with New Orleans, all of which have come during their last six games. Olynyk has once again been able to thrive while playing significant minutes on a tanking team, and as long as he is available, he should continue to provide strong value for the rest of the season.

Matkovic started on Sunday, but he only logged 16 minutes. With Yves Missi back, Matkovic returned to a reserve role, but he ended up having more success on Monday. He matched his career-high for points and nearly recorded a double-double while still providing multiple swats and triples. The 23-year-old has shown some upside in recent weeks, and he should continue to play a significant role for the remainder of the season, with some spot starts sprinkled in.

Payton made his second appearance on his current 10-day contract and was immediately able to make a huge impact in the assists category. He wasn’t able to match his 21-assist performance from November, which also came with New Orleans. However, it was still an excellent night for him. Despite this being Payton’s 15th appearance this season, with six of those coming with Charlotte, he is one of 12 players to have at least 14 assists in a game twice this year. They don’t play again until Friday, but if he gets the minutes, he should be a solid source of dimes this weekend.

The second-round pick out of Kentucky hasn’t seen a large role with New Orleans consistently despite all the injury issues that they have dealt with this season. Aside from his 34-point outburst in November, this was Reeves’ highest-scoring performance of the season. He was also able to set a new career-high with five triples in this one. Managers should expect Reeves to continue to see minutes for the rest of the season, though they have come too inconsistently for him to be streamed at this time.

Edwards hasn’t scored less than 20 points in a game often this season, but this ended up being the second-straight game that he scored 17 points. On Friday, he only scored 17 because Minnesota won by 40 points, which justified that performance. This one was simply a poor night for him. They only have two more games this week, with a matchup with the Suns on Friday up next. Expect Edwards to have a big night against Phoenix; he has averaged 33.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, six assists, 1.7 steals, 1.3 blocks and four triples in three matchups with the Suns this season.

This was the second-straight double-double for Gobert, though it was on pace to be a much bigger night. He had eight points and 13 rebounds in the first half, but he wasn’t able to add much to his rebounding total after the break. This was also the second-straight game that Gobert didn’t record a block, which makes this the first time this season that he went consecutive games without swatting a shot. That isn’t typical for Gobert, and he’ll look to bounce back against the Suns on Friday.

Reid’s production has been inconsistent since he was pushed back to the bench. However, when he’s at his best, he can have scoring nights like this in limited minutes. He has scored at least 15 points in three of his last four games and at least 20 points in two of those. Unfortunately, after a three-game week last week, Minnesota only has two more games this week. The schedule has limited Reid’s production more than his on-court play. They have three days off before playing the Suns on Friday.

Hawkins surpassed the 20-point mark for the second time since the All-Star break and the eighth time this season on Sunday. While there are opportunities for the second-year guard to produce, especially with Trey Murphy out for the season and Zion Williamson also sidelined on Sunday, Hawkins hasn’t consistently taken advantage of them. After scoring 36 points on 14-of-48 shooting in his three games prior, McCollum exploded in Detroit. Recording his first game of 40 points or more since February 13, the veteran guard has met or exceeded that number four times this season. With McCollum being ranked well outside the top 100 in eight- and nine-cat formats over the past two weeks, he needed a day like Sunday to get untracked. Without Zion Williamson, the Pelicans were no match for the Timberwolves Friday as they lost by 41 points. Missi was -31 in 28 minutes only because he tied CJ McCollum for the most minutes on New Orleans. The good news is the 20-year-old center was able to play that many minutes in his third game back from an ankle injury. The bad news is he didn’t score very much in garbage time. McCollum struggled as the Pelicans were outclassed by the Timberwolves Friday. New Orleans lost by 41 points and the 33-year-old shooting guard was -20 in 28 minutes. McCollum didn’t have his three-point shot going at all as he was 1-of-7 from behind the three-point line. He also committed six turnovers, which was as many as he had over the previous four games. Conley had his best offensive night in over a month, with the 16 points being the most he’s tallied in a game since February 6. The veteran point guard has proven more valuable to the Timberwolves than to fantasy managers on most nights, but he has been a top 100 player in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks. On most nights when Edwards records a poor field goal percentage, his three-point shooting disappoints. That was not the case on Wednesday.
