Gobert was impressive on Wednesday in his 28 minutes. He was incredibly impactful on the defensive end, posting a handful of blocked shots, and finished well on the offensive end when given opportunities. The four-time Defensive Player of the Year’s night was cut short after fouling out of the contest late in the fourth quarter. Still, he concluded with his third double-double over his past three appearances and is trending in the right direction during the fantasy basketball playoffs.

McDaniels showcased his versatility on both ends of the floor against the Rockets. He guarded well and collected stocks while taking advantage of his scoring opportunities. Unfortunately, McDaniels appeared to get injured late in the fourth quarter while defending Kevin Durant. He eventually made his way to the bench before the end of regulation and, despite not being ruled out, never returned. His status ahead of Saturday’s matchup with the Pistons will be worth monitoring.

Randle struggled with his shot on Wednesday, but came up big for the Timberwolves down the stretch of overtime. He either scored or assisted on the Wolves’ final seven points, which included a tough go-ahead mid-range jumper to give Minnesota a two-point lead with under 10.0 seconds remaining. The win was a big one for the Timberwolves from a seeding standpoint; with the victory, they move to fifth place in the Western Conference standings and are now one game up in the loss column over the sixth-seeded Rockets. Randle will have a chance to help the Wolves to a third straight win on Saturday when they face the Pistons.

Henderson was outstanding on Wednesday, leading the Trail Blazers in scoring while also not committing a turnover. His role keeps the former lottery pick’s fantasy ceiling relatively low, but he has provided 11th-round value in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks. Henderson is another player who could benefit from Portland’s upcoming schedule, which is the NBA’s weakest by win percentage.

Back in the lineup after sitting out the last two games, Grant shot 4-of-10 from beyond the arc in 24 minutes. The veteran forward did not offer much outside of the points and three-pointers, but he has provided ninth-round value in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break. Games against the Mavericks and Wizards to end Week 22 will give Grant two more opportunities against lottery-bound teams to put up numbers that will benefit fantasy managers.

Despite being limited to 25 minutes due to the game getting out of hand, Clingan recorded another excellent stat line on Wednesday. The 7-foot-2 center has been outstanding since the All-Star break, providing second-round value in eight-cat formats. And in nine-cat, Clingan has been a first-round player during this stretch. Portland finishes Week 22 with games against Dallas and Washington, which is excellent for those rostering Clingan.

Avdija and the Trail Blazers took care of business on Wednesday, scoring 71 first-half points and winning by a 130-99 final score. Due to the game being a blowout, he only played 25 minutes, a development that some fantasy managers won’t be pleased with. However, the points, assists and percentages were solid, so managers won’t have too much to complain about after Avdija’s showing against the Bucks.

Conley is set to make his 10th start of the season when Minnesota attempts to collect another quality win on Wednesday. Conley’s insertion into the starting lineup is likely a result of Ayo Dosunmu’s unavailability due to a calf injury. Clingan’s seven blocks were a season-high, and he only needed 24 minutes to hit that number. Portland winning in a rout likely cost the second-year center a new career-high in blocks, but fantasy managers will be satisfied with the production in that category as well as the 15 rebounds. Portland’s final three games of Week 22 are against the Bucks, Mavericks and Wizards; don’t be surprised if Clingan puts up a few more solid stat lines. Avdija’s struggles from beyond the arc continue, as he missed all three of his three-point attempts on Monday. Over his last six games, the Trail Blazers’ playmaker has shot 8-of-37. The good news for fantasy managers is that he’s still scored at least 18 points in all six games, surpassing 23 points in four. Camara has made multiple three-pointers in four of his last five games, but Monday’s performance took the cake. Banking in his first three-point attempt was a sign of things to come, as the Trail Blazers’ forward started the night 8-of-8 from three. That’s a franchise record for consecutive three-pointers without a miss, passing Terry Porter’s seven. Camara finished the night 9-of-11 from deep, recording the second 30-point game of his career. Dosunmu continues to produce with Anthony Edwards (knee) out of the lineup, having scored at least 17 points in four straight games. Over the past two weeks, he has provided fifth-round value in eight-cat formats. The only reason why fantasy managers should not entertain adding Dosunmu is the upcoming schedule, as the Timberwolves play two games in Week 22. However, if Edwards remains out for Wednesday’s game against the Rockets, Dosunmu would be a worthwhile pickup.

Since the Timberwolves had to shut down Anthony Edwards (knee) for a couple of weeks, Hyland and Ayo Dosunmu have upped their offensive production. Bones scored a team-high 23 points in Boston, and he’s scored at least 17 in each of the last four games. The Timberwolves rebounded from a slow start to pick up their first season sweep of the Celtics since the 1999-2000 season. McDaniels was one of the offensive leaders, helping pick up the slack on a night when Julius Randle (9/10/4/2 with one three-pointer) shot 3-of-14 from the field. McDaniels has scored at least 16 points in four straight games. While that may not seem like much, he has been more assertive on offense since the Timberwolves lost Anthony Edwards (knee); they’ll need him to remain aggressive when Ant-Man returns.

Camara entered Sunday having scored seven points or fewer in three of his previous five appearances. The Trail Blazers’ wing got back on track in Denver, shooting 4-of-6 from beyond the arc. While Clingan’s failure to record any defensive stats in Sunday’s defeat was disappointing, his continued progress as a perimeter shooter must be exciting for fantasy managers.
