Rostered in 36 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Johnson has provided respectable fantasy value since the All-Star break. He has been a 10th-round player in nine-cat formats since the break, averaging 16.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.6 three-pointers per game. While Johnson doesn’t possess the upside of teammate Stephon Castle, injuries to other players have made him worthy of a look in 12-team leagues. And the Spurs have a good upcoming schedule, as they’ll play 12 games over weeks 20 through 22.

Like teammate Devin Vassell, Castle did not shoot the ball well on Saturday. The good news for those who have him rostered is that the rookie dished out seven assists, his highest tally since March 1. Since the All-Star break, Castle is ranked just inside the top 200 in eight-cat per-game value. Under normal circumstances, there would be no reason for 54 percent of Yahoo! league managers to roster the rookie. However, with De’Aaron Fox and Victor Wembanyama done for the season, Castle is worth the risk in 12-team leagues.

Vassell’s field goal percentage was subpar, but the overall stat line was one that many fantasy managers would live with. Since the All-Star break, the Spurs wing has been a fourth-round player in nine-cat formats, rewarding those who did not drop Vassell in a panic while he struggled. And with De’Aaron Fox (finger) done for the season, the ball will be in Vassell’s hands more as the Spurs conclude their season. He can potentially be a league-winner, provided the shooting accuracy improves.

Vassell had been quieter over San Antonio’s last two games after scoring 37 points last week, but he got back on track as a scoring option on Monday. Johnson came up big in the second half of Monday’s game, scoring 20 of his 28 points after the break. Despite being a consistent starter, Barnes has been a non-factor in fantasy basketball this season. He’s an efficient player that can hit some three-pointers, but he doesn’t help in any individual category. However, he was unconscious as a scorer in Monday’s loss. His two missed field goal attempts were both three-pointers, meaning he made all eight of his two-point attempts. He didn’t enjoy that same success at the free throw line as he made just one of his three shots.
