Olynyk is dealing with a sprained finger on his left hand, hence his inclusion on the Pelicans’ injury report. Zion Williamson is also questionable for Monday’s game, so he could fill the void if Olynyk cannot play. The Pelicans can also call on Bruce Brown, who has started the last three games and can provide solid value when in that role.

Missi has missed the Pelicans’ last two games, with fellow rookie Karlo Matkovic replacing him in the starting lineup. The Pelicans did not have Zion Williamson for Saturday’s game, so Brown remained in the starting lineup. While he did not record a complete stat line, the points, rebounds and assists were reminiscent of what Brown was able to do during his run with the Nuggets during the 2022-23 campaign. Bruce can be a valuable player to have rostered when allowed to play starters’ minutes, and the same can be said for Kelly Olynyk. He logged 31 minutes, finishing with 14 points, six rebounds, seven assists and one steal. The Pelicans play four games during Week 20, with Olynyk having a slight edge on Brown since he’s more likely to remain a starter.

While the Pelicans have not played CJ McCollum and Zion Williamson for both games of back-to-backs, that has not been the approach with Murphy. He’s been active for every game since January 12, a trend fantasy managers hope will continue throughout the season. While Murphy’s fantasy value since the All-Star break has taken a hit, he remains a top-50 player for the season. The only negative for fantasy managers is the schedule, as the Pelicans play 10 games during weeks 20-22, starting with a four-game Week 20.

McCollum bounced back on Saturday, scoring 26 points two nights after he tallied nine on 3-of-10 shooting in a loss to the Magic. The Pelicans guard has been a 10th-round player in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break, one round below his value for the season. With the Pelicans focused on the draft lottery, back-to-backs may become an issue for McCollum down the stretch, even if he’s healthy. New Orleans plays four games during Week 20, finishing with a Sunday/Monday back-to-back.

When the Grizzlies are without Ja Morant, Bane’s full game tends to be unlocked. That was the case on Saturday, as he shot over 50 percent from the field and finished two assists shy of a triple-double. Jackson was dominant on Saturday, having now scored 30 points or more on 12 occasions this season. That equals his tally from the 2023-24 campaign, a year in which JJJ was the lone Grizzlies star in the lineup on most nights. Jackson has been a top 20 player in nine-cat formats since the All-Star break, slightly better than his production for the season.

Kennard started Saturday’s game for Ja Morant, who did not play due to a shoulder injury. While the final stat line certainly wasn’t elite, Luke was far from a liability for deep-league managers. Morant’s absence impacts the Grizzlies’ rotation and fantasy basketball more, as it opens up a spot in the starting lineup. Aldama was also out Friday, but with Jaren Jackson Jr. back and the Grizzlies deep rotation of bench players, nobody appears ready to step into a fantasy-relevant role. This one to keep an eye on. Morant has said previously that his shoulder has been an issue all season long, but he hasn’t been on the injury report for most of March. Williamson wasn’t able to replicate his triple-double from Tuesday’s game, but he was able to extend his 20-point streak to seven games while also continuing to be a reliable playmaker for New Orleans. Alvarado was a solid reserve option for New Orleans on Thursday and was a key piece in their improved second half. Alvarado scored all 12 of his points after halftime, which they entered trailing by 30 points. The Pelicans were better after the break, but it wasn’t enough to truly pull off a comeback.
