Not only did Nembhard reach double figures in assists for the first time since February 22 against the Mavericks, but the 14 helpers equaled his total in his prior two appearances. The Pacers’ point guard finished Monday’s victory with his tenth double-double of the season, two more than his first three NBA seasons combined. The Pacers play three more games in Week 22, but the end of the 16-game losing streak could lead to mainstays like Nembhard getting a little more time off.

After a two-game stretch in which he shot 11-of-16 from beyond the arc, Nesmith made two of his eight attempts in the Pacers’ final two games of Week 21. He cleaned that up on Monday, shooting 5-of-9 from deep to help the Pacers end their 16-game losing streak. Nesmith mainly provides points and three-pointers, making him a risky option in most fantasy leagues. But things worked out well for him and fantasy managers on Monday.

Walker has scored at least 20 points in back-to-back games, the first time he’s accomplished that feat this season. There weren’t any defensive stats to speak of, but what the former lottery pick is capable of offensively is why he’s worth rostering in some 12-team leagues at this point in the season. Since March 1, Walker has averaged 15.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.2 three-pointers per game while shooting 51.2 percent from the field. And, among the Pacers’ current starters, he may be the one safest from being shut down in these final weeks of the season.

At long last, the Pacers’ 16-game losing streak has come to an end. The motivation to end it on Monday likely influenced the minutes played by Siakam and the other starters, with four of them playing between 33 and 35 minutes. Siakam shot 50 percent from the field and made all nine of his free throw attempts in one of his more efficient efforts of the season. The Pacers play three more games in Week 22 without a back-to-back, but that does not guarantee fantasy managers of a fully available Siakam, especially with the losing streak now over.

After utilizing a smaller lineup to begin Saturday’s loss to the Spurs, the Pacers will start a true center on Monday. After sitting out Friday’s win over the Nets, Hart played 28 minutes in his return to the lineup on Sunday. The Knicks’ 32-point win helped keep his playing time down, but just as important has been Hart’s improved shooting. Making all three of his three-point attempts against the Wizards, he is 9-of-9 over his last three appearances. Even with the Knicks limited to three games in Week 22, Hart’s three-point shooting is a huge development for category league managers.

Limited to 17 points on 7-of-19 shooting in Friday’s win over the Nets, Brunson was better against the Wizards. The overall stat line was a bit lean, with the four assists being the fewest in a game for him since February 27. Saturday’s game was Siakam’s first since March 8, so there may have been some concerns about a potential minutes limit. While the production was limited, the fact that Siakam played 29 minutes was encouraging. Will that continue? That’s the big question for fantasy managers who have him rostered, especially those competing for fantasy championships next week. While Indiana’s four-game slate is promising, the uncertainty around how much Siakam will play is a concern.

With the Pacers’ rotation being as close to full strength as it has been in quite some time, the offensive end of the floor became a bit more manageable for Walker. Shooting 8-of-10 from the field overall, the third-year forward made five of his seven three-point attempts. Walker’s inefficiency has limited his fantasy value, but minutes have not been an issue and should remain the case for the rest of the season. The Pavers play four games in Week 22, starting with the Magic on Monday.

Nembhard played 28 minutes on Saturday, and he was effective in his time on the floor. He’s now scored at least 20 points in five of the ten games he’s played in since the All-Star break. Something to watch with Nembhard is the status of rookie Kam Jones. If Jones misses one more game, his contract for next season would only be partially guaranteed. And under those circumstances, that could be when the Pacers decide to give Jones more minutes, possibly at Nembhard’s expense.

After totaling 21 points in his first four appearances, Slawson put up 17 in Wednesday’s loss to the Trail Blazers.
