Maxey will miss a second-straight game after suffering a lower back sprain on Monday. Jared Butler, who played 25 minutes off the bench in Tuesday’s loss to the Timberwolves, should take on a similar role. George missed Monday’s game with a groin injury, but was back on the floor Tuesday against the Timberwolves. The 34-year-old small forward struggled with just seven points on 11 shots in 30 minutes. 76ers head coach Nick Nurse said the team was concerned about George’s injury following Tuesday’s game. Given the questionable listing, there’s certainly a real chance of George missing Thursday’s game. Justin Edwards is also questionable, but could move into the starting lineup if he’s available and George isn’t.

Yabusele remained in the starting lineup for a second-straight game, and he had to spend a lot of his time at center. Andre Drummond was limited to 19 minutes because of foul trouble, which forced the 76ers to rely on Yabusele even more. With Joel Embiid (knee) done for the year, both Yabusele and Drummond will be viable options in fantasy basketball for the rest of the season. Philadelphia has two more games this week, with a matchup in Boston up next on Thursday.

After missing Monday’s game due to an illness, Oubre was able to pick up where he left off in his last appearance. Oubre has scored at least 20 points in his last three games, and he will continue to be a focal point of the offense for the rest of the season. With Joel Embiid done for the year and Tyrese Maxey and Paul George battling injuries, it wouldn’t be surprising if the 76ers relied on Oubre and Quentin Grimes to lead the team in scoring over the final month of the year.

After an off-night as a shooter on Monday, Grimes got back to providing buckets on Tuesday. His performance on Monday was disappointing after he dropped a career-high 44 points on Saturday, but Tuesday’s performance was the third time that he has scored at least 30 points in a game this season, all of which have come since being traded to the 76ers. Trading away Grimes wasn’t the worst move Nico Harrison has made, but it is looking like Philadelphia got a steal by acquiring him. Grimes should be one of their few bright spots down the stretch of this season.

George’s performance on Tuesday was concerning enough, but Nick Nurse’s quote after the game should put managers on high alert. When asked about George’s groin injury, which kept him on the sidelines against Portland on Monday, Nurse said “we’re certainly concerned.” It wouldn’t be surprising if George was held out against Boston on Thursday, and his status for the rest of the season should be in question. Philadelphia’s pick is top-six protected, meaning they need to lose as much as possible to ensure they get their first-round pick. George should be considered a shutdown candidate at this point.

Robinson made his first start of the season on Tuesday, and the guidelines (as described by Tom Thibodeau) remained in place. Due to the limited playing time, it’s unsurprising that Robinson didn’t have much impact on either end of the floor. With Robinson limited and Karl-Anthony Towns (personal) away from the team, Precious Achiuwa played 30 minutes off the bench, finishing with eight points, 15 rebounds and one blocked shot. Fantasy managers can expect a similar minutes split for Thursday’s game against the Lakers if Towns remains away from the team.

Bridges shot a little less than 50 percent from the field, but his offensive impact was muted on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that’s been the case more often than not since the beginning of February. Averaging 14.4 points per game, Bridges has provided 11th-round value in nine-cat formats since February 1, recording just two 2-point games. His role within the Knicks’ offense would not match what Bridges was asked to do with the Nets. That said, fantasy managers likely expected more from him this season.

Anunoby was the one Brunson “sidekick” who stepped up on Tuesday. His 29 points were the most he’d scored in a game since January 25. The Knicks wing has provided seventh-round value in nine-cat formats since returning from the mid-foot sprain that sidelined him for six games. With Karl-Anthony Towns away from the team for personal reasons, Tuesday’s version of Anunoby will be what the Knicks need as they head west for their longest road trip of the season.

The Warriors put forth a concerted effort to get the ball out of Brunson’s hands at every opportunity. He still had a productive night, but the Knicks’ lack of a credible secondary playmaker proved to be their undoing. Brunson has been a top 20 player in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break, averaging 26.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, 6.6 assists, 1.4 steals and 2.4 three-pointers per game. Towns may have recorded solid percentages and rebounding totals on Sunday, but this was not his best performance. Bam Adebayo and Kel’el Ware stifled the Knicks center, and he never looked comfortable on offense. Towns still managed to record a double-double, so all wasn’t lost for those who have Towns rostered. On a night when Karl-Anthony Towns struggled with fouls and Miami’s frontcourt tandem of Bam Adebayo and Kel’el Ware, Anunoby gave the Knicks much-needed offensive production. The 20-point game was his first since a foot injury sidelined OG for six games. And since the All-Star break, Anunoby has been a fifth-round player in nine-cat formats. Maxey’s scoring production over the last few weeks has been inconsistent, which is surprising after his dominant run in January. Maxey scored an inefficient 30 points in Wednesday’s loss to the Knicks, but he tied his season-low for scoring on Saturday, which he initially set in his final appearance before the All-Star break. Maxey has been dealing with an injury to his right pinky finger which is clearly impacting his ability to shoot the ball. He has only hit one three-pointer over his last three games and has shot 30.4 percent from the floor during that stretch. Still, he was able to provide some assist value to make up for his lack of scoring on Saturday.

With Philadelphia’s stars struggling, Grimes stepped up and had the best game of his career. He entered halftime with 20 points while making eight of his nine shot attempts, and he was able to maintain a high level of efficiency after the break. Unfortunately, his success from the floor wasn’t replicated at the foul line, even though that is supposed to be the easier shot. Hukporti started Wednesday’s game for the injured Karl-Anthony Towns, and the rookie got an alley-oop dunk on the Knicks’ first offensive possession. However, while he did shoot the ball well, the rebounding output was limited. Making matters worse was Hukporti suffering a sprained right knee early in the third quarter. While he would return briefly, the decision was ultimately made to sit him for the rest of the night. Helping Hukporti was the work of Josh Hart (7/17/4/1/1 in 39 minutes) and Precious Achiuwa (7/6/2/0/4 in 31 minutes), who combined for 23 rebounds and five blocked shots. The Knicks are likely thankful for two things after Wednesday’s victory: Tyrese Maxey’s bad right hand (he shot 0-of-10 from three) and Brunson. “Captain Clutch” went on a personal 9-0 run during the fourth quarter to save the Knicks from what would have been an embarrassing defeat, especially after getting blown out by the Cavaliers and Celtics over the weekend. After dishing out all seven of his assists during the first quarter, Brunson was ultra-aggressive as a scorer in crunch time to get the Knicks back into the win column.
