Towns had only one game with at least 20 points in his last six games entering play Sunday. While the 30-year-old center has been playing well recently, his scoring has lagged behind somewhat. That wasn’t the case on Sunday as he poured in 25 points on 17 attempts. Towns has provided third-round per game value over the last two weeks. While Hart reached double figures in seven of the Knicks’ first games out of the All-Star break, he shot 43.2 percent from the field and 20.7 percent from three. Brunson was the one Knicks starter who could not get going offensively on Friday, opening the game 1-of-10 from the field. The nine points were the fewest in a game for the point guard since February 11, when Brunson scored eight in a blowout win over the 76ers. Castle recorded a second straight double-double, making this the 10th time this season he’s finished with at least 10 assists. He didn’t do much scoring, but with Victor Wembanyama and De’Aaron fox combining for 67 points, he didn’t need to. Castle has been a solid source of assists and steals in his second season in the league, though he has been limited in category leagues by in inefficiencies. However, he has shot at least 50 percent from the floor in each of his last two games and has a total of four turnovers over his last four games. It has been a rough stretch for Fox since the All-Star break, but he was able to get on track in this one. This was his highest-scoring performance since Jan. 22, and it came after he scored a total of 32 points across their previous three games. There weren’t any issues when the Spurs were winning, but his seven-point outing in the loss to the Knicks stuck out. Wemby wasn’t aggressive on offense in the Spurs’ 40-point win over the 76ers on Tuesday, but in a nationally-televised matchup with the top team in the East, he made a massive impact on both ends of the floor. However, he hasn’t been this dominant at the free throw line often, and this was only the fifth time this season he finished without a turnover. The Thunder’s ability to rotate multiple players onto Brunson throughout Wednesday’s game led to him having one of his poorer offensive efforts of the season. However, he recorded a season-high 15 assists, just over a month after dishing out 13 in a win over the Lakers. There aren’t many teams with the perimeter personnel Oklahoma City boasts, and Brunson doesn’t shoot the ball as poorly as he did on Wednesday very often. The good news for category league managers is that Bridges recorded a complete stat line on Tuesday. However, he shot 5-of-14 from inside the arc, including a 1-of-6 effort during a third quarter in which the Knicks scored 11 points. Bridges doesn’t need to be a prolific scorer to provide reliable fantasy value, but it would help fantasy managers if he were more consistent on that end of the floor. That can also be said of OG Anunoby (five points, three rebounds, two assists, one block and one three-pointer), who shot 2-of-9 from the field on Tuesday.
