The Wizards are without Khris Middleton for Saturday’s game, as he suffered a knee injury during Thursday’s loss to the Pacers. To the surprise of many fantasy managers, Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau decided to start Wright on Friday, not rookie Tyler Kolek. The decision proved correct, as the veteran guard shot the ball well and recorded a solid stat line in his 30 minutes. As for Kolek, he logged 17 minutes off the bench and finished with five points, five rebounds, one three-pointer and no turnovers. Whether or not Wright will be worth the risk for Sunday’s game against Portland depends on the availability of Cameron Payne (ankle) and Miles McBride (three), who were unavailable on Friday.

Hart finished Friday’s victory two rebounds shy of his 10th triple-double of the season, recording another full stat line. The Knicks wing has been one of the most valuable players in fantasy basketball, as he continues to exceed his Yahoo! ADP (116) by a significant margin. Where Hart goes in drafts next fall will be interesting. While he probably shouldn’t be selected with a top-50 pick in most fantasy leagues, Hart has proven capable of reaching that ceiling, if not raising it outright.

Towns had a frustrating night in Milwaukee, as the Bucks’ physicality sometimes appeared to fluster him. The good news for fantasy managers is that he recorded another double-double and two steals, but the field-goal percentage was below KAT’s standard. With Jalen Brunson (ankle) sidelined, opposing teams have made a greater effort to attack Towns on both ends of the floor. His fantasy value hasn’t slipped much, but there are times when he isn’t as effective as he can be.

Bridges has scored at least 21 points in three of his last four outings, providing increased offensive production as the Knicks press on without Jalen Brunson. Over the past two weeks, Mikal has offered fourth-round value in nine-cat formats. In addition to the scoring, fantasy managers should watch his assist production. Over his past two games, Bridges has 14 assists and three turnovers. Given how shorthanded the Knicks are at the point guard position, he’s one of the wings who has taken on more playmaking responsibilities in recent games.

Anunoby has been on a roll recently, averaging 23.5 points per game over the past two weeks. The increased scoring production is why he’s offered first-round value in nine-cat formats with Jalen Brunson (ankle) out of the Knicks’ lineup. Also, he’s recorded at least one steal in 11 straight games, averaging 2.3 per outing. Anunoby and the Knicks end their Week 21 schedule with a home game against Portland on Sunday.

The Knicks are already without Jalen Brunson, and Miles McBride and Cameron Payne are not available for Friday’s game, either. After not being in the rotation, Wright moves into the starting lineup, while Tyler Kolek will come off the bench. Poole played just 25 minutes again Thursday. It was his sixth-straight game with less than 30 minutes and fourth in that span with 25 minutes or less. While the Wizards clearly aren’t pushing Poole for heavy minutes at this point in the season, they at least had good reason for his usage on Thursday as they were party to a massive blowout. Poole had a pretty good game considering the Wizards lost by 53 points. Unfortunately for Poole, it doesn’t seem like his minutes will trend back up in what’s left of the season.

Friday’s game will be the fourth McBride has missed with a strained groin. As for Payne, he sprained his right ankle during Wednesday’s loss to the Clippers, leaving the Knicks down three point guards, as starter Jalen Brunson (ankle) is also out. That leaves Tyler Kolek and Delon Wright to handle the point guard responsibilities, with the former having tallied 24 assists and one turnover in his last three games. Injuries to Jalen Brunson and Miles McBride have thrust Kolek into the rotation. With Cameron Payne not returning after halftime due to a sprained ankle, the rookie started the third quarter against the Clippers. While Kolek shot 0-of-3 from the field and 0-of-2 from the foul line, he dished out seven assists and committed just one turnover. Since entering the rotation, Kolek has accounted for 24 assists and one turnover. With the current state of the Knicks’ point guard position, there will be increased opportunities for the healthy starters to offer more value in the assist category. Bridges dished out nine helpers on Wednesday, the most in a game for him this season. The Knicks wing only committed two turnovers, but a 1-of-5 night from beyond the arc hurt his field goal percentage. Over the past two weeks, Bridges has offered top-50 value in eight-cat formats.
