McBride has been out since late January after undergoing surgery to address a sports hernia. Given a timeline of six to eight weeks, he appears to be closing in on a return to game action. Coulibaly had a strong scoring effort in this game, though he was limited to 19 minutes and didn’t play the final 18 minutes of this game. He has certainly shown some scoring prowess in recent weeks, though his minutes have been limited as Washington continues to prioritize improved lottery odds. Coulibaly should be an intriguing option in fantasy drafts next season, but his impact for the rest of this year will be limited.

Riley has been playing big minutes for Washington for a while now, but he was pushed to the bench for this game. However, it ended up being one of his best performances of the year, and he ended up having one of his most efficient shooting performances of the season. Riley should continue to be productive as the season comes to a close, though he may not be able to maintain this level of efficiency moving forward.

Hart, who made nine consecutive three-pointers before missing one during Thursday’s defeat, has upped his fantasy output recently. Over the past two weeks, the Knicks’ forward has provided second-round value in eight-cat formats. Nine of Anunoby’s ten field goal attempts on Thursday came from beyond the arc, and he made five of them. Unfortunately, the final stat line had little beyond points and three-pointers, so this was not the best night for Anunoby managers competing in category leagues. He’ll look to finish Week 22 with a more robust all-around stat line when the Knicks visit the Thunder on Sunday.

Brunson was one of the few Knicks to play well in Charlotte, and even he had some issues. The Knicks’ point guard was 0-of-6 from beyond the arc, the second time in the last six games that Brunson has failed to make a three-pointer. The overall field-goal percentage was respectable, and the 13 assists were the most in a game for Brunson since he recorded 15 in a March 6 win over the Nuggets. The Knicks will look to bounce back on Sunday when they visit the Thunder.

Black may not have done much scoring on Wednesday, but the overall line would have category league managers salivating if recorded by a more established player. In six prior appearances this season, he totaled three steals and four blocks. Against the Jazz, Black was responsible for three steals and three blocks while also recording seven rebounds, three assists and three three-pointers. Hardy has reached double figures in each of his last five games, putting up 20 or more in the last two. Reese fell one point shy of a 20/10/5 stat line, but few fantasy managers are going to lose any sleep over that. The rookie wing’s double-double was his second as a pro, and he posted the numbers on solid percentages. Also, Riley combined with fellow rookie Julian Reese to become the first Wizards rookie duo to post double-doubles in the same game since John Wall and Jordan Crawford on March 23, 2011, against the Clippers.

While Reese started four of his first five games as a Wizard, Wednesday was his first appearance since March 16 due to his status as a two-way contract player. The rookie forward made the most of his opportunity, scoring a season-high 26 points while grabbing 17 rebounds. After racking up eight assists in a March 14 loss to the Celtics, Carrington totaled ten in the four games that followed. While that stretch included a 30-point night, Bub’s growth as a playmaker for others is one of the key storylines for the Wizards over the last month of the season. A double-digit scorer in four straight and seven of his last eight appearances, the 25 points are a new season-high for the fourth-year guard.
