Herro returned to the starting lineup Saturday in his second game back from a toe injury. Somewhere along the way, the 25-year-old point guard also picked up a rib contusion. Now Herro is questionable against the Thunder on Sunday. Kel’el Ware had just two points with Herro starting Saturday and would seem to benefit if Herro is out Sunday.

As a team, the Heat shot 4-of-30 from beyond the arc in Saturday’s 123-99 loss. Powell was part of the problem, as he shot 1-of-7 from deep while Tyler Herro was 1-of-8. Fantasy managers can take solace in the fact that Powell has been highly productive on most nights, which should be an indicator of his ability to bounce back. He’ll look to do so in Miami’s final game of Week 12 on Sunday against the Thunder.

As much as a player can in a game his team lost by a 123-99 final score, Jaquez had a good night. He finished a blocked shot and a three-pointer shy of a complete stat line while shooting 50 percent from the field. That said, Jaquez is ranked outside the top-150 in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks. With the Heat now close to full strength, his production off the bench is something to watch, as Jaquez has been good enough to offer standard-league value thus far. Hopefully, that doesn’t change.

Saturday night was rough for Adebayo and the Heat, who never led against the Pacers. While effective as a rebounder, the Heat captain didn’t offer much value otherwise. This season hasn’t been what many fantasy managers hoped it would be for Bam, as he’s ranked outside the top-50 in per-game value. Adebayo and the Heat will look to redeem themselves on Sunday against the Thunder.

After coming off the bench in his first game back from a toe injury, Herro was back in the starting lineup on Saturday. He finished with a complete stat line, but the Heat were blown out and the other starters struggled. Where Herro is within the lineup doesn’t matter much, as he’ll provide solid fantasy value wherever. But it does affect Kel’el Ware, who tallied two points and three rebounds in 17 minutes off the bench. Ware can still offer reliable fantasy value, but he’s someone to watch with Herro back in the fold. The Heat visit Oklahoma City on Sunday.

Williams has not appeared in a game since December 13, but that may change on Sunday. While his playing time is unlikely to affect fantasy basketball, JayWill gives Oklahoma City another option to call on in the frontcourt with Isaiah Hartenstein (calf) out.

Wallace was one of multiple Thunder players who did not play in Friday’s win over the Grizzlies. His absence factored into Brooks Barnhizer playing eight minutes off the bench, while starter Aaron Wiggins logged 32. Wiggins recently replaced Wallace, who had been filling in for Isaiah Hartenstein, as the Thunder’s fifth starter.

Chet Holmgren joining Isaiah Hartenstein and Jaylin Williams on the sidelines did not push “Kenny Hustle” into the starting lineup, but it did guarantee him more playing time. Williams made the most of his opportunity, recording season-highs in points, rebounds and three-pointers. He’s rostered in less than one percent of Yahoo! leagues, so there weren’t many fantasy managers willing to roll the dice. Williams’ night should only influence the thinking of fantasy managers if the Thunder are just as shorthanded for Sunday’s game against the Heat.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was unavailable for Friday’s game, which led to a spot start for Mitchell. Despite coming off the bench on most nights, the second-year guard has been productive enough to merit being rostered in some 12-team formats, so Friday’s output was unsurprising. Over the past two weeks, Mitchell has offered top-75 per-game value in eight- and nine-cat formats. If SGA remains out for Sunday’s game against the Heat, fantasy managers should not hesitate to stream Mitchell if he’s sitting on the waiver wire.

Playing without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren, among others, Friday’s game was one in which the Thunder appeared to be at a serious disadvantage. And they would trail by 21 points during the third quarter, seemingly underlining that assumption. However, Williams and the other available Thunder didn’t accept that, going on a 14-0 run to take the lead in the final minute. J-Dub didn’t score any of those 14 points, but his 26 beforehand helped Oklahoma City stay afloat. The Thunder end Week 12 with a home game against the Heat on Sunday.

Williams had a solid outing, functioning as OKC’s main facilitator on Wednesday. He led the Thunder in assists before finishing just shy of the 20-point mark in the overtime victory. Fantasy managers will hope for better shooting going forward, especially from the three-point line, to pair with the current level of playmaking he’s displayed for a second straight season. Finding his rhythm from deep would also help get his overall production up to where it was a season ago.

Holmgren delivered his best performance of the calendar year, putting on a two-way clinic to help end the Thunder’s two-game skid. In his season-high 40 minutes of game action, Holmgren led his team in blocks, was the only OKC player to collect double-digit rebounds, and finished as one of two to score at least 20 points. Struggles from the free-throw line and from beyond the arc prevented him from finishing with greater scoring totals. Still, he had an impactful night and should be in line for another good outing on Friday against the Grizzlies.

Gilgeous-Alexander was exceptional in the overtime win, going for 40-plus points for the first time since November. He scored efficiently after a couple of bad shooting performances, which helped OKC end a two-game losing streak. The Thunder has struggled in recent weeks, having lost six of its last 12 games prior to Wednesday’s contest. Herro looked like his usual self coming off the bench in this one following an 11-game absence recovering from a right toe injury. He shot the ball well overall but was just 1-of-4 from three-point range in his first game action since December 9. It was an off night for Miami overall as they shot just 35.7 percent from the floor as a team and failed to break the century mark. It’s been a frustrating season for Herro, and fantasy managers, as injuries have limited to just seven games after he played 77 of 82 last year. He shouldn’t have too many restrictions from a minutes standpoint moving forward.

Oklahoma City led by as many as 18 but faltered down the home stretch as Phoenix rallied late to pull out a comeback win. The reigning NBA MVP came alive in the third quarter, contributing 12 points on 4-of-9 shooting, after a slow start to the contest. The 27-year-old superstar failed to break the 30-point mark for the first time in four games, but managed to get to the line nine times. The defending NBA champions had righted the ship after a pair of late-December losses to the upstart Spurs by winning four straight. The 21-year-old center is still very much a work in progress, but he’s been a double-double machine this season, averaging 12.4 points and 10.6 boards through 36 games and grading out as a top-30 overall fantasy performer.
