Gilgeous-Alexander missed Oklahoma City’s final five games before the All-Star break with an abdominal strain. Thursday’s update means the reigning league MVP will miss at least four more games before he’s re-evaluated. Cason Wallace has taken on a more prominent role in the Thunder rotation, and minutes have also been available for Jared McCain. Wallace is the superior fantasy option and should be rostered in 12-team leagues.

Giannis has been sidelined since straining his right calf for the second time this season during a January 23 loss to the Nuggets. At the time, he set a four-to-six-week timeline, and the former league MVP is on the right path. “I feel like the break doesn’t help, because now I gotta get on the court, I gotta play some 1-on-1, 3-on-3, 5 vs. 5,” Antetokounmpo said Saturday. “Players are on vacation right now, so it’s kinda hard for me to do that. “So once I check all those boxes, I’m ready to go. I feel like I can play a game today.” Giannis has made it clear he will play again this season. And the Bucks’ wins over Orlando and Oklahoma City heading into the All-Star break likely sparked optimism about the team’s chances of earning a playoff berth once they get their star forward back.

Joe continues to pick up some of the slack with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander out. The 26-year-old guard has shown over the last six games that he’s not going to contribute much in the other categories, but he can provide 17 points and three three-pointers every night. Dieng has struggled to produce or see minutes consistently this season, but has flashed a high-ceiling in the last two games. The 22-year-old small forward followed up a 17-point performance in 23 minutes in the win against the Magic on Wednesday with a full stat line in the win over the Thunder on Thursday. Dieng had 19 points and was just four assists shy of a triple-double while also contributing on the defensive end with a steal and four blocks. He also made three three-pointers. The Bucks deciding to keep giving him more minutes could lead to more games like this in the future.

Joe was the leading scorer for OKC’s bench unit in this game, but it was a group effort to get the big win. Seven players scored in double figures for the Thunder, including five reserves. The bench unit accounted for 74 of OKC’s 136 points, with Joe leading the way in just 18 minutes. Williams struggled with his shot on Monday, which was his first game after missing nearly a month with a hamstring injury. However, he was incredibly efficient during his 20 minutes in this game. He only missed one shot in the blowout win. This was the first leg of a back-to-back, so there is certainly a chance that Williams sits out against the Bucks on Thursday, especially after exiting to get his hamstring attended to.

KPJ’s play dwindled in January, but his first four games back after missing time with an oblique injury have been excellent. He has averaged 21.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 8.8 assists and 2.3 steals per game, which has helped the shorthanded Bucks remain competitive. As long as Giannis Antetokounmpo remains out, KPJ should be productive as a high-usage player, and he was able to record his second triple-double of the season in this game.

Thomas only played 13 minutes against Orlando on Monday, but he took on a larger role in the rematch and was far more productive. His role dwindled over the final weeks of his Nets’ tenure, but in his second game with Milwaukee, he had his highest-scoring game since October. If Thomas is able to continue to play this well after the All-Star break, he may be able to secure a long-term deal this summer and be a strong option for fantasy managers down the stretch.

Dieng’s first game with the Bucks was just a five-minute in a blowout loss, and he wasn’t able to do much. However, his role expanded in his second game with the team, and he set a new career high for three-pointers in a game. He’s still only 22 years old, and he holds plenty of upside. He could end up playing a larger role for the Bucks over the final two months of the season, which could lead to more productive outings like this one.

Sims was part of a bigger starting unit for the Bucks with Ryan Rollins (foot) sidelined, and that strategy worked out well for the Bucks. After missing nearly a month with a hamstring injury, Williams was back in the lineup against Los Angeles. He was limited to 24 minutes, but he was able to make a strong impact despite a subpar shooting night. Nearly half his points came from the free throw line, which helped make up for his field goal percentage. Williams is typically able to contribute more value than he did in this game, but this was about getting him back on the floor. One day after his signing was made official, Thomas made his Bucks debut. As was the case in Brooklyn, he came off the bench, playing 13 minutes. After totaling 52 points and attempting 32 shots in his final two games of January, Turner has recorded 11 shots or fewer in each of his last five. The good news for fantasy managers is that the Bucks center can offer solid value in other categories, most notably blocks. However, Turner’s production has also tailed off in that category since the calendar flipped to February. He’s totaled eight blocks in five games, six fewer than his total in Milwaukee’s final three games of January. Hopefully, Turner finishes the pre-break portion of the schedule with another good night in the blocks category on Wednesday against Orlando.

Having made at least four three-pointers in four straight games, Green has knocked down 20 in Milwaukee’s first five contests of February. While he shot 1-of-5 from beyond the arc, Porter was highly efficient inside of it on Monday. In addition to shooting 9-of-14 from two, the Bucks’ guard attempted a team-high seven free throws. With Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) out, even more of the offense runs through Porter and Ryan Rollins (14 points, six rebounds, three assists, two steals and two three-pointers). Just a few days after being waived by the Nets, Thomas has reportedly found a new home. While a player capable of putting up big scoring numbers, the guard has not shown much ability to make plays for others or defend consistently. Porter Jr.'s second game back from injury was even more impressive than his first. He flirted with a triple-double while leading Milwaukee in scoring along the way. Poor three-point shooting on Friday was about the only blemish, which is a notable one, as he’s now gone 0-of-13 from deep over his last four appearances. Rollins extended his streak of 20-point games to four on Friday, utilizing the three-point shot to land most of his scoring production, while joining Kevin Porter Jr. and Bobby Portis as the only Bucks players to reach the 20-point mark against the Pacers. Rollins has played many different roles and been cast into a variety of starting lineups this season, but has remained productive through it all. The Bucks secured a third straight win on Friday, with Portis’ scoring playing a key role. In his return from a two-game absence, he finished as one of three Bucks players to score at least 20 points, as he used efficient shooting to reach his high point total.
