While Williams said after Tuesday’s victory that he still hasn’t reached the point where he’s entirely comfortable on the floor, the Thunder forward’s production has improved from game to game. His scoring output has increased every time out, with J-Dub recording his first 20-point stat line in his third game back from offseason wrist surgery. And while he missed all four of his three-point attempts, the percentages from the field and the foul line were encouraging. Williams has attempted only five three-pointers across three games, and that may be the aspect of his offensive game that takes the most time to get back to speed. But he’s clearly on the right track.

Oklahoma City’s win streak hit 13 games on Tuesday, and Holmgren has seven 20-point games during the run. On Tuesday, he shot 66.7 percent from the field and was a steal shy of a complete stat line. Over the past month, he has provided sixth-round value in nine-cat formats. That doesn’t align with Holmgren’s Yahoo! ADP (26), but it’s not like he’s been a disappointment in fantasy basketball. Plus, the skill set is such that he’s capable of going on a run that would get his value closer to preseason expectations.

While the Warriors used increased defensive intensity and various looks to get back into Tuesday’s game, their inability to slow down the reigning MVP was the difference. After Pat Spencer hit a shot with 4:54 remaining to give the Warriors a one-point lead, Gilgeous-Alexander and the Thunder went on an 8-0 run to take the lead for good, with the MVP responsible for five of those points. Regarding season-long fantasy value, only Nikola Jokić and Victor Wembanyama have been better than SGA, and the latter is currently out with a calf injury.

Reid has once again been one of the best reserves in the NBA, but he was able to do more than just score in this one. He set new season highs for both assists and steals, which led to one of his more complete performances of the season. New Orleans didn’t have much of an answer for Edwards, which led to him scoring at least 30 points for a sixth straight game. This was also his fourth 40-point performance of the season, with three of those coming over the past six games. Edwards is on an incredible scoring tear right now, and with a rematch in New Orleans coming up on Thursday, he should be able to keep this going.

After three straight games without a double-double, Gobert was able to produce his eighth of the season. His 26 points were also a season high and the first time he has surpassed 20 points this year. Gobert hasn’t been the fantasy star that he has been in the past, largely because his free throws are worse than usual. However, he had his best game from the charity stripe this season, which led to best performance of the year.

An adductor injury has sidelined Luguentz Dort, opening up a spot in the starting lineup. Mitchell, who has provided solid fantasy value whether he starts or comes off the bench, will fill the void. Edwards broke 30 points for the fifth straight game as he knocked down four three-pointers and shot a sublime 72 percent from the floor. He showed zero signs of fatigue on the second night of a back-to-back after torching the Celtics for 39 points earlier this weekend. Mitchell exited early from Friday’s game with a knee contusion, but that didn’t hold him out of this game. In fact, it didn’t do much to limit his production. Aside from Friday’s game, when he exited after just four minutes, Mitchell has scored in double figures in all but one game. Portland played this game without Donovan Clingan (illness), and they didn’t replace him with a traditional center. That made Holmgren the biggest player in either starting lineup, but he wasn’t able to truly dominate the glass. He led Oklahoma City in rebounding, and each team finished with exactly 49 boards, but this was an opportunity for Holmgren to have a big rebounding night.
